Great Idea, Dee! Makes today a good day to bottle my first batch of home made wine. Should have done it over the weekend and got lazy. Need to make some labels, which means I need to come up with a name for my private little winery. Any suggestions?

NM, How about "Hot Tatties" in honor of our lounge here? Of course, that also means you should SHARE some with us!0

Ooooo, I love my red wine. I have an occasional glass, and an occasional glass or two or three...LOL!

Hi iHEARTu....and welcome to our lounge! Dee, I like your name better than what I suggested....0

I grew up north of milwaukee and I suspect drinking alcohol beverages is in my genetic code. I went to the University of Wisconsin, for heavens sake...LOL!! I still love beer, but noone can take away my Pinot Noir. When it gets -40 here in MN, what else is there to do?
cheers *clink*

Well..let's see here... hmmmm. You could learn how to peel a banana with your feet OR you can look up long words in the dictionary like discombobulated and use them in a sentence if your still sober enough OR brush up on your fire making skills just in case the power goes out OR you can come back here and visit a spell.

...or go ice fishing....LOL! Did it once and never again.

Welcome, Heart! Taking my bottled water poolside and going to do some serious thinking about was I a blond in a previous life???? Took our company out to dinner for his birthday tonight to local bar/rest (has been our fav hangout for ages, but burned down amost two years ago and has just been reopened in last month--so great to go and see old, familiar faces,etc....) Sitting there tonight, told hubby how happy I was to see the place so crowded on a Friday night. "Yes" he says so sweetly, "but, tonight is WEDNESDAY!" Well, good gravy (now my favorite idiotic comment from the Okla cowboys on Amazing Race...)...I had to sneak a look at the paper when we got home just to make sure he wasn't pulling my leg....wow, I've lost totall track of time....
uhhh, screw the water--Jocks, please have Pants help you and bring me one of every drink Dee has posted for the past two weeks!!! I'll be poolside and chatting with whoever's there...
Bottoms Up!!!

I'm joining junie poolside--I can't keep things straight anymore either, and the 2 of us trying to have a conversation ought to be funny as all get out, and get funnier with each drink! Two of everything, boys!

Well good gravy Junie,
I love the cowboys on Amazing race. I was rooting for Jordan ( if she had brains she'd be dangerous) and Jeff but the were booted last week Don't that beat all!
Anyhooo... I can go to town with you on those country sayings woman.
Till we meet again! Cya later possum tater0 -
Oh my, are we in rare form or what? I would say it is the spring air, but I think it is still like winter for most of us!
Junie, I have done that plenty of times. Especially if we go somewhere and don't leave on a Friday, since that is usually the day we head out.
NM, no imagination here for your wine, sorry! But I'll help drink it!
Dee, that drink would make anyone spin. Holy cow, or should I say, Holy Tornado! LMAO @ possum tater!
Welcome C, looks like you fit right in with us lounge lizards. We get lots of visitors, but not too many that stay and become regulars. Have you met Pants and Jocks yet? They are our bar tenders, but we call them Tattie Tenders, as the name of our lounge is The Hot Tatties Lounge, akd The HTL.
Say hello to our new patron boys!
I have been quite busy lately. Just stuff and cleaning and working. Business is starting to pick up a little. Not as much as in the past tho, due to all the crappy weather across the country. Think I'll have a tornado....but only one! They look pretty powerful. We are heading out tomorrow to Flagstaff, about 2 and 1/2 hrs away, to go to the Home & Garden Show there at ASU.

It's Zinfandel night! I'm off to wine class. Doesn't that sound right for Thursday night?
Did you make up the tornado? When we were in St. Croix on our honeymoon we had hurricanes, which have a lot of rum.

Love the patron boys! I'll take a cadillac margarita and a fresh towel! LOL!

Ok, I made it to work-BARELY...whew I cannot believe how we can have 70 degrees 4 days ago and now freaking ice and snow today..crazyinsanetreacherousroads! Someone please break out the arm floaties. I will be having miriads of beverages today and don't want to have any more incidents with me floating face down in the pool. TGIF!!!!!

Jocks, dear, will you be sure to keep an eye on dee today? We want to make sure she gets relaxed while floating in the pool, but face UP so she can breathe! In between checks on dee please keep my raspberry martini glass full as I simmer in the hot tub. TGIF!!!!
Here's the kind of pool float you need today, Dee:

KK, I guess I didn't type that right. I was speaking to the boys, which are our Tattie Tenders. Pants and Jocks. I was telling them to say hello to our new patrons.
Well we are not going to Flagstaff today. Too windy, gusts up to almost 60 mph. And when that happens, there is potential for the interstate to be closed. So we do not want to take the chance of not being able to get home. So we will make our usual trip to town later today and maybe do Flagstaff tomorrow.
WB gail. Wine class sounds great!
Think I'll join Dee in the pool. Do we have more than one floaty? I'd really hate to tip Dee out (not), so I could use that one!

Looks like it going to be floatie Friday. I will take one too please. Dee, don't worry, we can wrap an arm floatie around your neck. Lots of drunkards in the pool today. KK, You have a new picture of your kitty! How cute! Welcome to the lounge AStorm. Speaking of storms, Lorie, that is quite a little breeze. Don't let your greenhouse blow away. It could end up at Junies or somewhere in the pacific. LOL! NM, enjoy the hot tub. Back to work! HD

Won't end up in the Pacific, Atlantic maybe!

Happy Friday everyone!
Lorie if you do end up in the Pacific, come and spend some time at my house!
I am getting cabin fever like crazy and can't convince my husband that I NEED to go shopping. He just asks what he can pick up for me. I don't think he understands.
The healing is coming along, although there are still a couple of spots that are not healed to my satisfaction. We go see the PS next Friday (because his staff screwed up and made it for a week later than it should have been). The pain is much better and I'm starting to want to do more.
Today, though, I'm planning on spending by the (and in the) pool and hot tub. Sure glad the pool is infinitely big to fit all of us and our floaty chairs.

TGIF!!!!! (I think I've got it right)...checking my backyard to see if a new greenhouse has shown up--hope it is full of pretty flowers! Think Lori means her strong winds are blowing from the west toward the east. We get our worst weather blowing in from the west. Company left this morning. Poor guy--he has this really nice, expensive SUV that he is sooo proud of. Of course, it started raining shortly after he arrived, and rained most of the time he was here. DH asked him several times if the windows were rolled up! Well, windows were up but he'd left the moon roof wide open!!! What a mess he had this morning. (Think he was a blond in a previous life, too!!)
Getting my bucket filled up and joining you all in the pool--or, I might sit on one of the lounge chairs until someone fishes that--that--(what IS THAT!!!?) out of the pool! Happy Friday to all. Everybody have a GREAT weekend!

Hell, Junie, that is NM's pooch in the pool. Lori and Dee too. Meet you for a bucket! I am off work! Yahoooooo! HD

Whew...I had thought it was NM's doggie.....such a neat picture HD!!! I think I need a large pitcher of those daiquiris....maybe mango! Sorry to hear about your friend's car, junie....he must have been SO upset!!!!
Joining you all on a pool float....

Connie--I have tried, unsucessfull, several times to explain to some male freinds that for women shopping is a PROCESS, not a task. For a woman "going shopping" does not meen going to a store to purchase an item. It means going out into a social place where there are other poeple (primarily women) to interact with, to stimulate the senses with new things and thus stimulate the imagination. "Going shopping" is major distraction therapy. "Going shopping for" something is simply more focused, with attention given to a particular item or class of items. "Going Clothes Shopping" means looking at garments of different styles, colors, etc, and imagining how such garments would change the personality or outlook on life. If, during the shopping process, one actually PURCHASES an item, this is strictly incidental. My favorite male comment to this explanation was "How do you know who wins?" My response: "Huh? What's to win?" Answer: "What is the point of doing something if you can't 'beat it'? You know, I can find, buy and bring home a shirt is less time than any guy I know."
Men are strange.
Oh, by the way--you do realize that we are going to be smelling wet Snookie all night, right?
Another note: she who feeds Snookie cheese sleeps with Snookie tonight--if you think wet dog smells bad, wait till you smell Snookie Cheese Farts!!!!
