Know I am hijacking this thread, but want to send Gail off the right way.  First, you are on a mission which you will win.

Secondly, you need to help your husband.  Tell him you need "help" removing those new "next to nothings".  Preferably with his "teeth".

Thirdly, he needs to help you find those spots that "light you up".  I have both breasts, so I use the "I need you to check sensation in my left breast" line.  But if no longer true, then he needs to explore.  Cole Porter described it as "I'd like to take a tour of you".

Fourth, while at Nordstrom, have them redo your makeup a bit.  Nothing like a little adjustment to make it all work better.

I will drink to all of the above.  (In case anyone was wondering there that case of "The Widow" - Veuve Cliquot - went.)  Hoping not to need those AA's other than for bicycle lights. - Claire

"MENtal anxiety; MENtal breakdown; MENstrual cramps' MENopause.....did you ever notice all our problems begin with MEN?"

Dinner out was fun but I didn't win diddly squat playing Keno.   It was goood to visit with old friends and get out for a bit, but I am tired today--don't worry, I'll be rested for the PAR-TAY at my house starting tomorrow afternoon!!!!!

Yesterday afternoon, I was out on the deck and the biggest, most beautiful red fox came up from the woods and was slowly sauntering across our back yard.   I finally yelled, "HEY" at it, thinking to scare it back in the woods.   The silly thing stopped and looked at me and then SAT DOWN and watched ME!   It finally got up and literally pranced around, peeing at all of Pancho's favorite potty spots.   I watched it for the longest time til it went several houses down the ridge.   I heard that neighbor's dog barking at it and instead of turning into the woods, the fox headed up into the back yard to get closer to the dog.      I hurried in the house to get DH and to call that neighbor but all of a sudden, the fox ran back to our yard!   DH finally got to watch it for a few minutes and did grab a camera but of course, just as trying to get a pic of it, it finally ran off into the woods!   We've heard that a few people along the golf course actually feed some of the wild foxes--not a good idea in my mind!   We had a band of coyotes again in the valley a couple weeks ago.   Think they have finally moved on--they would start their yapping and snapping and howling about 10:00 every night and they sound so scary when they are like that.  Have seen one in our yard, also--they scare me more than the foxes do.

The PAR-TAY invite is open to ALL-----------be back later with the Plans!!!!   See y'all soon!!!!

NM - Wow, another fantastically funny LMAO post!!!  All so funny, thank you for the pool floatie and the dwinkies!! I so so so so much appreciate your understanding of hitting cancerversary #1 with a bitofa thud and getting a series of migraines (and taxes) - oh just awful, but I am recovering and celebrating I'm a 1 year survivor, yeeehaw! I'll drink to that and to many more for all of us! Now about the yumping yacks, darn I think I overdid it, esp. with all that rolling around in the mud laughing so hard.

DorthyK - Hey, you are right, I'm at my best at my worst, was always best in a crisis! Thinking of you and hope you are not in any pain. Hope to catch up with you by the pool, maybe NM can get us all floaties.

Wahine - I thot it was a drinking thread, can I join? I like wine, beer, a tad of champagne, and I occasionally get a bottle of saki, it is so yummy, esp if heated a little bit. I love it the way they serve at Japanese restaurants. So whatdoya think junie will be serving at her par-tay????

Goldie - I'll toast to a DRINKING thread! And a bar, lounge, and a casino with a cash machine, and a poooooool, oh and it's always so nice and sunny at the pool, and all the fun stuff we have, sock monkeys and all at the HTL, and all the virtual vodka I can manage! LOL at the "love your hair cut" story. I am feeling better, thanks, but still dealing with some after rads fun. I was told the lump in mine could wait six months, glad I acted right away as it was already spreading! BTW, yesterday I saw it starting...big clumps of that yellow pollen, aaaa-chewwwwwwww!

Junie - so glad you had a fun dinner but too bad about no winnings...so rest up and let's get a good party going, thanks for the invite...love your fox story, years ago I had one that would come eat my cat food on the deck, he was so fun to watch!

Hi Huskerkkc - I think I made it thru tax season (again), congrats to you, I know it can be difficult. My DH and I have a good division of labor and the tax stuff is mine. Bleck! I hope you and your DH will get past this soon.

Claire - good idea for comfort food, so far no rain-snow for two days here, but it's gloomy out...but a good day to get some walking in!

Wishing all a wonderful day! Cheers!

Good afternoon, Loungettes!  Got a call from the place I'm interviewing, the interview needs to be rescheduled due to the storm (so the staff can get out, get done and get off the road).  Told a couple more people at work that I'm leaving.  Currently drinking a big glass of mead with cherry.  Quite tired this afternoon, so I'm going to put in an order for some Afternoon Sex and have it delivered to the pool where I'll be floating. . . .

    Afternoon Sex1 part Southern Comfort
1 1/2 parts Bacardi Limon Rum
    2 parts Vodka
    1 part Tequila
    2 parts Orange Juice
    2 parts Grenadine

    Directions
Put all ingredients in together, and shake. Serve in a glass filled up to 2/3 with ice.

WHOA - that afternoon sex was good. You outdid yourself NM, great drink choice and you ser didn't ah-forget the likker, oh yeah. Be safe outdoors in the snow. We may get a wee bit tomorrow.

Kymn, glad you are having a good day, you are doing awesome and i am one proud loungette.

Kathy, I M wif ya at Pau Hanna (me tinks me spelt it white dis time). Cheerz girl. Hope you are sleeping better. How did your PS visit go? I see mine on Monday, can't wait to have the fn drains out, reason to celebrate fer sure.

Beanie, I saw ya at the pool, seems you were a bit dwunk, the tenders told me that Pant's had to walk you home. Congrats for making it through "this time last year" syndrome. That is big and you did gweat.

Stanzie, sorry you are having issues with SO. I feel for you. Men can be so difficult, your post was right on. (OOPSIES, edited to say I now see that was Junie who wrote dat)...I truly hope things get better for you. With all you have to offer, you can certainly find Mr. Right, or even a Mr. Right Now if need be. Hugz to ya.

LOL Lori about the man who loved your haircut. I think your hair is more beautiful today than any of the pics in your album. You like very youthful with your current haircut, assuming you are still wearing it like your avatar. And good for you, dwinking all those drinks.

Junie, whatta freaky story about the wild fox. I would be sheating my pants. I agree that those feeding them are very stew-ped. How was your night out? And is DH gone yet, when does the partay at your manse start?? Your baby sitters are excited (well we are really dere to dwink but we shont tell the wheel wheason.

Claire, what's for dinner tonight and when can I arrive? I don't like seafood, if you can keep that in mind haha. I had a lean cuisine with a flat bagel, toasted. Yummmy! I will have a salad later as snack, ~yawn~! I have it already made so will just eat the dern greens and make faces at them. I did have the yummiest pear today.

Hello Husker, tanks for helping me friend get motivated to do the taxes, I think it was Beans you helped?

Where is Lois today, here drinks are all lined up for happy hour, six of them jest for her. Come on in!!

who am I missing? Chrissy, lost in space. HD, wrapped in foil and cant get out. Who else? Gale, miss your fab pics.

Ok, I am still out in the office, but I'll have a beer and TJ anyways. Join me Husker?

Junie, I would love to see a fox, such a pretty animal. We have coyotes too, (not so pretty, rather mangy) and they howl every morning and every night, but whenever we see one, it's always just one or maybe two, but thats it. They have me baffled, as when they howl, sounds like there are hundreds of them! And because of where we live, you can hear and see for miles, so you will hear them out in one direction and the sound carries, and group somewhere else will start, and it just dominos!

Dorothy, you are sweet as well as funny. My avatar hair takes along time, so I have just been wearing it curly lately, but it does need a cut (shhhhh.........and a color. Well, highlights). I know we had a funeral for "shitty titty", we all must have had a sh!t load of a good time. But on a serious note, hope you are feeling well and can get rid of those darn cheatin Jackson Prat Bros.

Ya Beans.....DWINKING! That's what it's about! ....and Yumping Yacks! Too funny! Glad to have you, the real you, back.

Kathy, you too.........DWINK up! Orgy in the pool? OMG!

NM, I am blushing at your picture! Can't hardly even look at it! Embarassed

Ok ladies, NO SEX for me here! Or EXERCISE, except for maybe a few yumping yacks and who cares what's for dinner. I'll eat what ever the Tenders are fixing. I'm sure it's just as good as the Sunday Buffet!

    Cheerz, Barmen and TIDDUP!

Forgot to even respond to your post Junie about that fox...wow that was CLOSE! We used to have a pair of them here, then just one, then I saw it run over about 6 yrs ago. Miss them! Glad you got out for a bit, I think it should get easier the more you get used to it. SO GLAD the partay is still on at your house! You said afternoon...guess the partay bus better start picking girlz up verrry early in the morning! Reserving my seat right now.

Beans,I like warm sake as well as some types that are best cold. Long ago we used to frequent a Japanese restaurant so much that we bought a $60 (high price in those days) bottle of their sake which was good chilled. Then when we came in for dinner, they would bring out "our" bottle with our name on it. Loved going there, it now is in a big new bldg, but this was a little wooden bldg with 2 rooms where you sat on the floor on tatami mats, and a main rm. We always had a private room and DH (we were dating then) would turn the light off. Well, one time I thought I would do it and jumped up to hit the light switch. Except I hit the wrong one...and both private rooms went dark. There was a group of Japanese businessmen in the next room and I could hear their "uhhhhhhhh" sound in unison!  Was funny, but not at the time (for me)! Glad you have passed the one year mark! I celebrate 3 yrs on Sat.

Dorothy, Hope your drains come out at your PS appt! Mine went well....he said I was healing good and now I can do most things...yay! You are getting a B+ now...it is actually "Pau Hana". "Pau" means you are finished with something.....when you use pau hana together it basically means you are through with work....hence end of the day happy hour. Growing up we always said when we were "pau" doing something...I had to unlearn that word when I moved to the mainland!

Enjoyed the comments about getting back to the drinking, lounge, partying, etc. Who wants to plan the next big partay? I think we are waaaaaaaay overdue!

Oops ran into your post Lori! Me too....I will just eat what the Tattie Tenders fix for us...not too picky! Lets just have fun....after all "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." OH, I mentioned the pool orgy because Kymn was taking the sex drink in the pool....and I think NM was joining her? SO if we all had sex dwinks in the pool, sounded like an orgy to me.....LOL.

    BARMEN!

Ok, I'm confused... I thought drinkin and fornicatin were related. Maybe I'm just drunk...  Stanzie, you ok after that bender we tied last night?

April Fools, how I do hate that day. Once in high scholl my boyfriend, the super-jock who was qback at a big game the night before, came to school with his leg in a cast and on crutches. He even faked excrutiating pain... I carried his freakin books all day!!!

Later he said he "kind of" felt bad about the prank cuz I genuinely cared about his pain... and then he laughed so hard he cried. You'd think I would have at least taken note of what a good liar he was and maybe not married the loser a few of years later.

Actually tonight he will watch that later and is watching the ALABAMA basketball game. Funny pics Gail! Enjoyed my Seagrams/Diet Coke and actually had Pants pour a JD/Coke for Dorothy, but I *accidentally* spilled it all....LOL. Payback is a beyotch! HD is feeling under the weather, and hoping she gets well soon and can join us here. Nice that she doesn't want to spread germs! ...hey, all you lounge babes--I luv you all sooooo much!    I was going to attempt to respond in Beanglish, but between reading all the recent posts and trying to speak Beanglish----I got to laffin so hard I had tears running down my leg and had to go jump in the shower before I could head out to the HTL pool!!!    You guys are hysterical!

NM--saw on the news that some parts of the NE are in a band that could get up to 18" of snow!   God bless your heart--we had a bit of snow today and I totally freaked out when I saw it.   It has rained and rained for last few days, but temps are sitting just above freezing.   Looked out the window and we had a brief (thank god) snow shower and the flakes were the size of silver dollars!  Luckily, it lasted for just a few minutes but if the temp had dropped a degree or two, we would have had a serious snowfall!    Dammit--our few nice days teased me into thinking winter was over.

Finally found the one last document I needed for our tax lady, so have sat DH down and given him a crash course and all is ready for him to go tomorrow.   I have never understood DH's need to have this gal do our taxes other than he has been having her do his taxes for about the last 40 years (I think she must be around 100 yrs old!).    I always did my own taxes, even before the computer age and all this lady does is take all the figures that I have prepared and plug them into whatever computer program she uses....and we pay her big bucks after I've done all the leg work.   Oh well.......

PAR-TAY at my house tomorrow night----looking forward to seeing everyone!

Heading out to the pool now--taking my dog beers with me.   Looks like quite a few gals are floating in the pool--I'll be nice this time and just slip in the water and not splash anyone or ruin your drinks!!   ....aaaahhhhhhh, the water is perrrrfect!!!

Can't keep up with you all, other than to say to Goldie, I'll have that red beer. Maybe the virtual ones taste better than the real. HA

All better with DH. Love all the helpful comments. Taxes with accountant. No lasting wounds today.

Tomorrow is round #2 of chemo...8:00-3:30 probably. My sister is going with me this time. Gotta get the blockage cleared from the port first...some medicine will do that. Then all the rest. Steroids start at 10:00 tonight and again at 4:00 a.m. Good god. I hope I wake up! Or maybe I won't sleep. Neulasta shot Saturday. Hoping more steroids (really-who wishes for steroids) to take home to counteract nasty SE's from last time.

After the beer, I'm switchin' to my chemo lounge drink...appletini! Cheers all.

    P.S. Kymn...loved your comments!

Beans, forgot to reply to your yellow pine crap. I'm sending you my unused, leftover lotion tissues that Dorothy gave me. Keep them next to your bowl of Salminellos and Vodka.

Kymn, sorry you didn't' get any wine at your luncheon, but you can have wine anytime here! You can even whine, if you want.

Dorothy, are you in line with that storm too? I like your reference to being a "loungette". And yes you can steal tiddup, (‘specially cuz I stole "girl cave") but it wuz Chrissy's! I juz changed da spelling. And wth is motz? I have heard of penne pasta, but not peni. Where's my zoom net? DH says I need one, it catches all those things that go right over my head. But he says mine has a BIG HOLE in it!

Kathy, you look like you're enjoying that spanking! And dumb me again, what is sake? Sounds like maybe sushi?

Astorm, luv the pic of Stanzie! Good one, you got her, before she got you. Sorry ‘bout the April fools joke from the old flame tho. Which reminds me.........hey Dort, we want to hear your pranks!

I am not a prankster, not creative enough. But one year, growing up, my dad was a bowler, and my mom exchanged his bowling shoes in his bag with a pair of bright orange high heels. Oh, and my kids got me one of those fake winning lottery tickets once.

Husker, good luck tomorrow. We can stop by on the bus to stay with you during chemo, then head out to Junie's............sound like a plan? I'll bring red beer and appletinies. Your choice, and will slip one in your chemo! You are in NE, where abouts? Are you in the storm path too?

Junie, I am so ready to par tay at your house............oooohhhhh I think I hear the bus coming up the drive..........better run. See ya all at Junie's! And Astorm is on the prowl, no one better fall asleep!

I am in the middle of Nebraska in a little town of 2800. No storm path, just rain tonight and 50's tomorrow. 60 maybe on Saturday. Finally.

Off to bed with my alarm set for 4:00 steroid call. Will have laptop so maybe can keep on all you guys throughout the day, if I'm not sleeping off the hangover.

OMG!!!!  I'm totally left behind!  I've had waaaaay too many pages to catch up on.......lol....PaNtZ!!!! bring me something to quench ma thirst after I've waded my way through them all!  You gals got me laughing my head off.......had to bend down and pick it up a few times....not an easy task let me tell you!!!  I got re-edjicated on the how to art of seducshun and I am presuming the goings on in the Ice Hockey League....yes?   I wonder if some of the seducshun tips might work on the DH.....na, I thinks it's been waaaaaay toooooooo loooong for anything to work, I have a feeling everything has atrophied in that department.......lol....at least I sleep with out interruption.

Husker and Kymn, I hope the chemo is treating you well and you are not having too many SE's.  ((((HUGS)))) to both of you.

Dotty, how are you healing?  is the infection disappearing?  I sure hope so, as long as you are starting to feel better that is the main thing.

Kathy, you sure do heal well but don't forget, even though you are healed on the surface, there is still healing going on underneath.  How are your parents doing?  Hope all the news from them is positive.

Karen, thank goodness I no longer have to deal with the vagaries of a thirteen year old........cudos to you for your patience!

Junie, at least you have the satisfaction of knowing there will be no mistakes in your tax figures but yeah, I get what you say re the DH.  Your story of the fox was wonderful.  I just love seeing the wild animals when they visit our realms.

NM, girl you get me laughing with all your great pics........you really have a knack of finding just the right ones for the occasion.  How's the interview process coming along?  Hope it all good for you.

Astorm, if I fall asleep out on the deck, I'm gonna hafta have one eye open so ya think I'm awake!  Not sure if I'm up to the face painting thingy........just saying........

Beans, hope you get on top of all this soon....it's not good that you feel sooo bad for sooo long!  (((hugs))))

Claire, such a wise woman in the ways of loooooove.  If I'm the psych you can be the sex councillor come gourmet cook........lol

Goldie, Stanzie, Lilyn, Jaybird and anyone else that I may have inadvertently forgotten, hope you are all feeling well and having a great day!

I have spent the last two days out in my garden doing a bit of pruning and tidying up before the rains of Autumn set in.  I'm really pleased with the results although I'd like to know who the smart a$$ was who said ‘a bit of hard work never hurt any body' well, I'd like to put him in my body and just let him feel the effects of a little hard work!  I'm sure he'd revise that saying pretty quick!

Love n hugs to all!  TITZ UP!!!!!!!!

    Hi Ladies....

Sorry to join the PAR-TAY late, but work beckoned.  Finally got an answer on something I was working on, plus another task that had to be done ASAP.

Just had some salmon burgers with dill sauce.  Fortunately had wonderful veggies and potatoes to pop in the oven.  Feel ever so much better with food and wine in me.

Almost ran doing my walk earlier so really am better.  So nice as opposed to trudging.

April Fool or no, I for one am glad to see the END OF MARCH.  Now there's something I will drink to. - Claire

Good morning loungettes and happy fried-dey,

It looks like the bus is taking a detour before the partay at Junie's to hang out with Husker.  I really admire the courage of you girls having the chemo cocktails, they do not sound yummy....a big hug to you Husker. I hope you are up to getting back on the bus with us and heading to Junie's party. I heard that the tenders and wenches have been up all night cooking and mixing up drinks. The trailer full of likker is hooked to the back of the bus and ready to go.

Goldie, are you busting on me spelling?? Yes, I meant penne pasta and motz is short for mozzarella, not to be confused with salmonella. Speaking of, Claire......I came out that way for salmon burgers?? Uhhh, you disappointed me, I think you are getting a spanking too . Wait til you hit the lounge and Pants gets ahold of you. (he really loves spanking us, Candy told me about his spanking "thing"). Goldie, I had to google the Pratt Bros, cool info.

Chrissy, it is nice to see you, are you still partying wif us? And can we pick you up today? Hope your aches of gardening dissipate. And I am feeling a world better today, thanks for axing. The redness went away on wednesday and this morning, only the drain is bothering me. God, I wish I had the balls to take it out but I know my ps will be mad at me. I get tired of being scolded like a kid in daycare!

It is raining here and expected to get heavy. We are lucky in that the temps are just above freezing. There are parts of the state that are getting snow, ewww, I hate the thought. My snow stuff is put away so there will be no more. Note to Motha Nature, hello, have you been dwinking and mixing up da seasons???? Get with it bitch!

I must have missed something here about Stanzie and Astorm, I will have to go back and read again and try to actually comprehend what I am reading. Me no comprendo wif un dwugs in my brain.

I am going to work again for a half day although I think I really could do the full day.  But it is opening day at the ballpark and I can watch my Phillies kick some arse. We have casual dress on Fridays and I can't find anything that will hide my concave chest. I had on a cami last night which has firm cups but after five minutes, it hurt too bad. I don't own any baggy bag lady clothes. I guess I will just keep my jacket on all day everyday until I get my tittty back. Boo hooo.

Kymn, sorry about your Canucks. I will see you on da bus, wooooooo hoooooooo! Cheerz girls. Off to the shower.

TGIF, Loungettes! Sitting her at the computer watching the world turn white as the latest snow storm starts winding up here. Sigh. Will summer EVER come?

Kymn-always interesting to see what people order during a business lunch, isn't it? I rarely order alcohol at one of those events, I personally don't like to mix drinking and working, but I will have one at an after work get together. Nice of the boss to take you all to lunch, though!

Wahine-Wow, what a pool partay we've got going on here! Looks like Pants is setting up a second swim up bar-oh, wait, it's not a swim up bar it's a floating bar that will come to US! What a grand idea!

DorK-Next week you ladies should watch Idol on the big screen TV over the pool. Then you wouldn't have to go anywhere and still get waited on hand and foot by Pants and Jock. Looking forward to your April Fools day stories!

Junie-At my parents old place there was a fox they named Pretty who would come around regularly. She obviously had kits but we never saw them. She would flop down in the yard and rest sometimes. My folks kept a supply of hot dogs that they would toss to her. The little pieces she would eat on the spot, bigger pieces she would bury in the garden! I remember watching her do that and then not being able to find the spot after she left, she did such a good job of making the spot like all the rest. She was around for many summers before she disappeared.

Goldie-Drinking at work are you? Must be nice! Doesn't sex count as exercise? I remember reading somewhere that having sex was the equivalent of climbing 2 flights of stairs, doesn't that make it count as exercise?

Beanie-if me, the lounge virgin, understands the wall plaque and YOU don't, there is something seriously wrong with this situation! I was taught by my mother that booze causes sex and babies. Took me years to figure out why I didn't have a new baby brother or sister after every drink she had!

Junie-it's snowing hard here now. Got about a quarter inch in the last hour or so. Supposed to get 16 to 20 inches. When this melts Mud Season will arrive with a vengeance. Not looking forward to that, not that I can do anything about it except wash the floors 2 or 3 times a day. . .

Husker-the healing power of a tax accountant is absolutely amazing! Hang in there with chemo. When I'm on steroids for asthma I can't sleep, but I know it makes some people really sleepy and tired.

Chrissy! Good to see you, where you been? I bet your garden is beautiful. I'm still jeleaous, it's still going to be weeks before I can start playing in mine. I like the idea about putting that smart mouthed guy in your body for a while-it will do him good!

Dork-DON"T TAKE THE DRAIN OUT TOO SOON! Taking it out yourself is one thing, but taking it out early is asking for trouble and you don't need that! I took my own out because my PS was 300 miles away - I was back home when the drains were ready to come out-AND it was time for them to come out.

Dort, no no no, not busting you on spelling, honest. I just thought it was another pasta. And had no idea about the motz, or Kymn's beer and something else someone mentioned, that sounded like sushi to me........oh it was sake.

Husker, again.....I don't know where my brain is. Oh ya, I don't have one! That is why DH calls me scarecrow sometimes. I was thinking NE was New England states....DUH!

NM, I sure hope you don't get that much snow. Be careful out there. Love the floating bar. Gonna fill mine up with some dog beers for Junie, HD and myself.

Mornin' girlz!  Yup it's mornin' here as well, 1.00am to be precise........just got back from a night out with DH.  He took me to dinner and a live performance by a Folk singer I have loved for years.  Met up with a couple of friends and had a fabullous time.  Dotty!  Of course I'm gonna PAR-TAY!!!  C'mon now do you think I would miss out on a bit of fun? ..........not on your life!!!  I'm in!!!!  NM, I been around but just too tired to post much but I been here!  We have had such a cool Summer that everything is acting like it's spring so the garden is a riot of roses, lavender, seaside daisies and geraniums.  Until I attacked them, there were also carnations but they have now been pruned to within an inch of their lives so I will get some lovely flowers in a few months time.  Goldie, sure hope the bloods return with all the results at the normal level!

To all the girlz still sleeping.....WAKE UP!!!!!   WE ARE OFF TO THE PAR-TAY!!!!!
