Robin hugs to you sweetie I am thinking about you everyday!

    Carrie---
What I REALLY want is for my SO to put the '65 Triumph Spitfire we dated in the FIRST time we were engaged back on the road. English mufflers---almost as loud as a Harley. Red---and it's just sitting up on blocks in a garage. ARGHHHH!!!

Bed time--gotta be up and at 'em early. Just worried the path report won't be back until Wednesday due to long weekend. At least this time I know the waiting is the worst part but if I get much more on edge my fingernails will come flying off!

Rhymee and Denise----you'll be on my mind tomorrow. The circle will be busy tomorrow nite, I'm sure.

    Blessings and Peace--

Guess I'll take late duty for a while. The storms have
    finally passed.

What a day this has been. There has been lots of sharing today. Some of the stories brought tears and others robust laughter. Earlier tonight, the circle girls held hands and sang the course from "Lean on Me" . It was dedicated to DebbieFive, AlaskaDeb, Jeannie, Mena, Rhymee, Deese, RobinTn and the list went on and on. Then there was a moment of silence for Karen. Everyone silently drifted away these words echoing in their heart:

Lean on me, when you're not strong
    And I'll be your friend
    I'll help you carry on
    For it won't be long
    'Til I'm gonna need
    Somebody to lean on

Karen, your face we may not all know
May peace and comfort be now your friend
As you make your way around that last bend.

Sisters that tomorrow hold travel, test, treatments, and test results, we will be here, we're your circle friends.

    Hugs and Blessings, sleep well.

If some of you cannot attend the howdown on the 16th then that will NOT do.

We will change it to the 23d instead.

We need to list what you will be auditioning and also what you plan on doing... we have some mighty fine cooks here so I can promise there will be good food! We have a professional bartender so we will have good drink!

Jeannie, what a wonderful story- HOW COOL IS THAT?!

OK- We need to add a Circle Girl escort to Deb's first rads...
and Shel- you are getting the gummy bear boobs? I really want to know more about them when you get them ok? I really like what i have read about them!

Brenda a new horse has been ordered for you.
You Harley Girls better not have loud pipes in the circle because you will scare the horses!
Vickie, If you think Anderson Cooper is bad wait 'til you hear about Shepard Smith.

Someone asked about NOLA?? New Orleans Louisianna! It is the home of the best place for recon for girls who want diep, gap,lat and tram flap surgery. They do the best work because they have done it the most.

Robin, once you start the avastin your s/e's won't be so bad if they drop the Taxotere for the avastin. But since you have this week off we want you here! Chocolate is really good for what ails you and we miss you girl!!

Ok- better get some sleep we have to be in four places at once tomorrow!

    Wagon's HO!

Oh dear. I have been off this whole past week and everyday I have been up at 5am. Figures I go back to work today and overslept. Guess it was cause all of you made the circle safe and quiet.

Already had coffee. The storms have gone away, but not the clouds. Its misty and there is a cirlce of fog surrounding the wagons. I'm walking to each wagon, whispering get up, its time to get up. One by one the sleepy eyes are appearing. Getting ready to mount our horses. We must be ready early for all of our sisters going through tests today.

Oh how I wish fancy was here. She is so good at getting the animals feds and ready for their long ride. Its sort of eerie - the fog isnt thick. Its like in layers. So you can see part of the horses, but not all. Steam is coming out of the noses and mouths. Yes I can see their breath. Hmmmm - another sign fall is upon us. The air once again has a chill.

Robin - oh my, I had taxotere and I know exactly what you are talking about. The bone pain, and the sore mouth. I felt like mine was on fire. I brought some cold tapioca pudding and a cold frapachino to your tent. I always found eating something cold helped with the burning. Im so glad you only have one more. Yes I am praying, but I have no doubt that it is kicking bc butt.

Jeannie, Rhymee, and Denise - we got ya covered today.

JulieP - rest well today, Im so excited for you.

NS and Shel: I have gummy bear implants. Had them put in this past May. My sister had the same surgery, and she got saline - oh what a study we would make. Anyways, if you have questions, ask away.

OK ladies - my horse is fed and saddled. I have awoken all that need to be strong for our sisters today. Now I need to sneak down to the creek and wash up to get ready for our journey.

And Peggy - no fair peaking lol.

    Good luck everyone

The smell of fresh cinnamon buns - I don't know who has made them but you have my heart forever!!!!!! Ok, girls,
I'm up and ready to travel; we've got lots to cover today but when you look around, we'll be there.

NS- Shep Smith? Not to long ago on CNN I thought they showed pictures of Anderson Cooper's wife, etc., Heck, don't tell me I had another crazy dream.

    Safe travel everyone.

    Hugs, Brenda

Good morning everyone. Been away for a few days on the long weekend and it took me a while to catch up this morning. I have to report I had a great weekend and it was nice to be up and about and feeling "normal".

I went to a mule pull yesterday and thought of all of us all day long with all the wagons around. The minature donkeys were as cute as could be. I think I am going to have to get me one to go along with my other animals.

It also seems like I missed out on some excellent food. I missed the key lime pie, the chicken soup, the woopie pies and the fresh berries. If all this eating keeps up I am going to have to get a bigger horse to pull my wagon around. I might even need a team of them.

Lighting my healing candle for all of those in special need today. My thoughts are with you all.

    Sooo,,whats for dinner today?

    hugs all around

HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE!!!!!

Just talked to eye surgeon and onc and they both said it was the LAST thing they expected to say to me but it's B9!!!! It's an hemangioma (an overgrown much too busy glob of blood vessels) that we will let heal for awhile, reimage and then decide what to do next. If it behaves itself we leave it alone, otherwise they use radiation to kill off the blood supply and there you go. Can't remove it without permanently damaging important stuff and he said just getting the biopsy was a messy project and he doesn't even want to think about trying to get it out! He was a little concerned that just the biopsy might have caused some muscle damage but full range is coming back and double vision is getting better.

I am SUCH a happy camper---chocolate on me for the house!

Now let's hope and pray everyone else's news keeps the campfire happy and singing tonite.

You girls did it---I felt you all there!

    Jeannie,

Hurrah! Now we shall all circle round the camp fire tonite and do a big circle dance of thanksgiving.

And my port is out - hopefully never to return.

I shall post more on my sweat lodge experience - but latter. Have to nap before a big pow wow at the boss's hacienda.

Whahooooo Jeannie!!! Now THAT'S how ya do it...B9ly! Let's dance!

Thanks to all for going with me today. I know it was one of you that guided that darn IV in after 3 tries! I'll let you know when I hear something. Thanks so much.

Rhymeee, thought about you the whole time.
JulieP, sending heartfelt best wishes with you to NO.
Deb, outta sight but no way outta mind. Hope it sails by for you.
Robin, had a tough time with Taxotere too. Praying only good things for you from here on out!
Shel, will the gummie bears get in the way of the accordian? Just wondering!

What to talk to each and everyone of you but you all know how slow I type so, baby steps for now.

    XOXO,
    Denise

P.S. Wendy, bet we could win you a horse in a hot little poker game (hee hee)!

Ahahaha Peggy, once again you made me laugh out loud with that guy. See the problem here is that Amy and Christine are looking at his head. That isnt where Im lookin. A new version of RM oysters lol.

Jeannie: OMG I am so happy. Im singing "Girls just wanna have fun. Girls just wanna have fun. Thats what they really wannnnnnnt. Some funnnnnnnn. anyone want to join in the song. We can bob our heads like the guy in the picture.

Wendy! You need a horse. Well my horse "Distored Humor" has been a stud for a few years now. Great race horse and retired to make great race horses. So tell me, what do ya want? A colt or a mare?

Well now down to food. I started my South Beach diet today. I mean, in one week, I gained 10 pounds. All this food talking made me hungry while I was on vacation. So Im gonna bring Lasgna, but instead of noodles, its layers of Zucchini. The Zucchini is breaded with eggs and romano cheese then sauted in olive oil. And I made a crustless chocolate cheesecake. No sugar and you would never know it.

And Pinot Grigio to celebrate Jeannies good news.

Denise: We got ya covered. Only good results. Thats my story and Im sticking to it.

Jeanette: I am so jealous! I wanted my port out so bad, but tumor markers went up just a little. Bam - "keep your port" the onc says in a deep voice. So my port has now become my very good friend.

    Hey NS,
My talent is working with wood (furniture builder). I just whittled myself a rocker/recliner, logs were getting rough. I'll be happy to help with tables, seats, etc. for the shindig. Right now heading to Red Cross Wagon for some prepH!!!

Face? He had a face? Peggy---where DO you find this stuff?

Jeannette---a powwow at the boss's hacienda---how cross cultural of you---and in Canada no less---I'm impressed.

As for the gummy bears. The nurse at my PCP discovered she had BC during her last pregnancy and had a double mast. We have become fast friends since her dx was about the same time as mine. She went in today for the expanders but showed me her gummy bears the last time I was there (I'll show you mine if you show me yours) and they are amazing. You can wear them with any bra and they don't give you that caved in pectoral muscle thing I found so unattractive with a prosthesis. As far as I know, she does not play the accordian!

I thought this day was going to be awful and it turned out so well---I am so grateful. I am still a SURVIVOR---and that's all I really wish for all of my sisters here.

    Love and blessings---
    Jeannie
