Hi NS, Rhymeee and all the amazing women. Just a quick note to please remember me just a little today. Off for another CT scan of lungs...3rd in less than 3 months...They won't be happy 'til they strike gold. Have to admit am getting a little crazy again. Okay I'm off for trains now....Thank you all!

Pennylane- hoping your scan is good and the last one for awhile.
Rhymeee and other chatters I am sorry for the loss of Karen, I know you knew her well from chat. She will be with bc.org forever in our hearts.
I am packing a cooler with dry ice and frozen snickers for the ride back in the wagons from Amy's tx today, OK I'll throw in some dark chocolate Dove bars. Doesn't everyone want/deserve ice cream after a doc visit.
JoJo, Carrie, Mena, Robin- Hope all are having a good day.
Peggy - thanks for the cookies, I had some for Brkfs, before retiring.
Thanks all for the good thoughts, still having the ab pain today. It may warrant a call to PS, somebody? anybody? Tram surgery was almost 2 yrs ago! Will I ever heal? Just ranting. There is so much worse here, I am thankful for just some pain.
Deb- have a great time with your aunt. That should keep you busy and even have some fun.
Nicki - although I loved my nursing staff at my Onc, it would have been great to have YOU there, good luck.

Oh and NS, as always thanks for sharing your thoughts and words. Hugs to all.
If you see a cloud of pink coming from over yonder, it's Pinky Tuscadero in her pink wagon, but watch out she's driving and talking on her new pink cell phone.

Pennyland, good vibrations being sent your way. christineK, I had my free tram last year and I've had a pain in my lower abdomen and can feel something - when I started having a pain in my lower back on the same side I decided to have a bone scan done. Bone scan clear - nothing showed up but I guess it is scar tissue for me, keeps me up at night. Hope yours clears up.

Ok ladies, I'm hungry, it's cold outside so I decided to start cooking beef stew for dinner tonight, maybe some biscuits to go with it. Join me later.

Well Good Evening to you all. Im popping in quickly. Always have to check this thread when I get home from work.

Pennylane - hugs to you, hope the test went well. Next time me and my horse Distorted Humor will accompany. But I hope there isnt a next time.

OH My! BEEF STEW! Its my favorite. Margaret I just cant wait for dinner to be served. I stopped on my way home from the ranch and bought some Eli's cheesecake. This is really neat cause each box has 3 pieces of cake in 4 different flavors. Plain, Chocolate, Raspberry on top, and apple/crumbs. There is lots here so you all can pick your favorite.

Carrie: You are sick? Whats wrong? Please come to the medic tent and we will take care of you.

Didnt have time to even call about the job at my cancer center. Was way to busy at work. Will make the call tomorrow and just explore.

Deb: Im so glad the treatments are going well. I sure am glad your husband got you the lap top. When I was going through treatment last year at this time, I crocheted scarves for my entire family for Christmas presents. They all loved them and new it was from my heart. So let the beading begin.

    DEBBIE FIVE: WHERE ARE YOU?

Anyways, hope you all have a wonderful evening. I will be here for my early morning watch.

Pennylane, I hope your scan went well. Maybe instead of gold they will find a diamond and give it to you. You certainly deserve it.

AlaskaDeb, glad you will have company for a while. How many more weeks of rads? Do you get to go home on weekends, I hope.

Christine, out all night again!!!! Just kidding. Hope you are feeling better today. They have to find something to work for you. Your picture is back. Good, you are so pretty.

Margaret, beef stew and biscuits. hmm.... I 'll have to make a big salad to go along with. I'm trying to lose a few. [grimace]

Chemosabi, did you apply for the job yet?

For those who are close to Karen, I didn't really know her but she is my sister none the less and we will miss her. Prayers for Andrew and the rest of you in your sadness.

Miss Carrie, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Debbyfive, are you around? Miss talking with you.

    God Bless
    Susan

Hi guys, I pop in to read about your loving circle every once in awhile. Can you add another name to those you're watching for? Tbytes62 over on the mets board is really struggling and her insurance is balking at paying for drugs that might help her. Please remember her in your circle. I don't know her, have only read her posts and responded a few times, but my heart aches for what she's going through. Maybe it's forward of me to ask that you include her in your thoughts, but I feel ever so scared for her.

Oh I know Tbytes62! We must welcome her to the middle of the circle. She has been someone who has cared for others as her profession. A wonderful, wonderful person.

Tybtes62 - if you need help from this sassy Italian nurse to get these meds covered please pm me. This is what I do. Get approvals for treatment and maybe I can help. But do not fear - YOU WILL GET THE MEDS YOU NEED!

Ok my friends. Its time for me to get ready for bed. Have a good night.

Oh my gosh I just saw my name come up.
I am okay I just have this reaccuring dang side ache that
comes up sometimes and it affects my sleep or my sleep flairs it up ? Any way I have been having night sweats
lately and this weird I feel like I have fever but I don't
thing (is that a hot flash?) without writing a book
went to gyn he did blood test to check hormones asked me about HRT ,NO !

This side pain after many test is most likely scar tissue
from abdominal surgery, it has not hurt for along time and then It's back. and it will go away as soon as it is ready.
I went most of the day today with no pain so thats a good sign. I am okay nothing serious just irriatating.

    Hugs,
    Carrie

Hey Carrie and Margaret- maybe we all have some scar tissue from ab surgery. I had the sam pain I am having on my left a few weeks ago on my right, but it went away. They did see a 3 x 1cm area of fluid near the incision, stll hurts even to touch?

Susan the pic is back, so when I meet others we can pick each other out and not be put on the spot, like when I was trying to guess who Rhymeee was. LOL

I hope everyone is resting comfortably.Sweet dreams circle girls.

Early morning watch has arrived. Its another beautful morning. Still dark - sun hasnt begun to peak over the horizon.

Its very quiet here in the circle this morning and Im so glad. Means all of you are getting a good nights sleep. Well with the exception of Rhymee and Mena who are night owls lol!!

Carrie: Im the original Hot Mama - hot flashes I do understand. Glad you turned down the HRT. I get very emotional about it cause I do believe being on HRT for 5 years did play a part in my bc.

Christine: Abdominal pain can mean so many things. It does concern me that they founds some fluid near the incision. I hope you have an appt scheduled with your PS. You need to get it checked out as soon as possible. I dont have much faith in ER doctors. They are good at taking care of trauma patients. Not so good at taking care of all the issues and problems related to breast cancer, including reconstruction. Good luck and let us know what happens.

DebbyFive: Good morning. Hoping you have some good news today.

Guess this isnt such a descriptive post this morning. Thats cause Im still so sleepy eyed. I wish sometimes I could get my morning coffee IV.

Oh I forgot to tell all of you. Yesterday before my meeting from hell, I stopped and got a iced starbucks. Now I dont usually drink coffee in the afternoon. OMG - I was wired at the meeting. Couldnt stop talking lol.

Good EARLY morning to you ladies. I woke up at 4;30 this am with a good old fashioned belly ache. I just feel blechy. In a weird way it feels good to feel yucky and have in NOT related to cancer HAHA!

My aunt got in yesterday, so we drove back home and all had dinner together here. She and my Mom are driving me up for my treatment . We saw the whales again yesterday on the drive home…too cool. I will bring my camera today which means we are guaranteed to not see anything worth taking a photo of.

I’m off to the fire for a cup of peppermint tea before I have to get in the car. Hugs to everyone and TGIF!

    Hello everyone,
Just checking in on the afternoon watch here. I usually get here earlier than this but work has been busy today. I must report it helped tremendously with you all going to my treatment yesterday. I am feeling great today and have some pep in my step. The pain in my hip from the mets is decreasing slowly but surely and this is only the 2nd treatment. I can lie down and lift my right leg now which was impossible only 4 weeks ago. My oncologist was impressed to say the least. Thank you all for caring for me and being beside me in that treatment room. Oh and thanks AlaskaDeb for holding off on that chili until after we got out of that room. Speaking of AlaskaDeb it is great that you have company to be with you while you are alone in the condo. Hope you got to see whales today on your ride in. (man i am jealous)
Mena-heres hoping you get some rest tonight.
Tbytes62 please feel free to join in the circle and wishing you the best as you fight with your insurance. Mets is enough to fight much less to have to deal with insurance. Your insurance company doesnt want all of us to be on them?????
I know I am leaving tons of people out but just know that I am thinking of you all and feeling great thanks to everyones support.
Jumping on my donkey and riding around the circle as I keep a watchful eye. Got my Austrailian Cattle dog with me, Bandie, also. Lord knows if she doesnt get her exercise we all pay for it.

Lots of love to everyone! Amy

Circle Girl Alert: News about Trenton on right now beginning 8:20 PM EST...still missing...May be in Ocala National Forest...Largest search ever in area tomorrow...Trenton's mom, Linda, who was found dead from a suicide in her mother's house didn't tell officials where Trenton was but gave a crude map to her lawyer. It took eight hours to get there with baby, diaper bag, shot gun; she got confused when she got lost and the baby ended up missing.

Someone may have taken Trenton from 10" mesh screen in a window. The mother may not be responsible. They're may have been another involved. The commentator said that it would have been impossible for an abductor to have removed Trenton from crib, physically because of the window size and location of crib.

No one knows exactly when Trenton went missing. The mother has never attempted but has threatened suicide. At one time, Trenton was removed from Linda but eventually returned. She had been taken some type of shooting/target lessons. She appears guilty according to this program.

The family is sponsoring a car wash at $2.00 a car to raise money to find Trenton. This is being considered an ongoing crime and is now national news. Trenton could be out walking the forest, for all they know. Please pray. Call in favors from our angels.

I apologize for the cryptic message. I was typing as they were talking...please pray, do whatever you do in the spiritual realm to bring Trenton out of the woods and safely home...Mena...xo

Hey I'm a fat bottom girl and my hubby likes it!

I had two spots removed from either side of my nose so no I can see where the bandaides cover up the stitches and I keep trying to rub them off!

I also had one of the vaginal ultrasounds today, with some bothersome news. Looks like I have a large fibrod and an even larger buildup above it on ht uterine wall. Radiologist says the DR will want to do more tests. Great just what I wanted, more tests!
Oh well I'm sure it will all workout fine.

    HI girls,

I'm coming a little closer to the fire tonite. Haven't posted much this week. Had some reconsrtuctive surgery - closing the hole that didn't heal from my TRAM procedure, and lifting the old boob. Thought that it would be no big deal but have found myself tired the whole week. Then again, I can't complain, with chemo out of the way.

Here in real time it is snowing where the mountains meet the prairies - ugh, way too early. So time to think warm thoughts - and remember those glorious September afternoons back east when the sun hit those maples and sent the reds and oranges screaming over the hills. Oh for a quiet walk in the woods, with the leaves gently sifting down and the sun stretching through the holes where they had grown up.

    Time for mulled cider.

So I'm wondering if there is any relationship to BC and the new fibroids. I suddenly have a fibroid and an ovarian cyst that weren't there just 7 months ago when I had all of my scans. I hear that it is normal for my age, but seems too coincidental for comfort.

Oh it is good to be back in the circle tonight....
had to leave to be with city folk and they were wonderful but the city was so noisy compared to the peace we have here.

The rain has been falling endlessly. It is swallowing up September and before we know it September will have come and gone.

As I was heading west back to you the prairie was so dark and windswept. But from miles away I could see the light of our fire burning brightly and I knew with each step my horse took I was one step closer to warm hugs, real smiles, supper on the fire, wagons lit from within and laughter spilling out like water...it is good to be home.

Paula and Tbytes I hope you have found everything you need in your wagon. Tbytes, if you need help with insurance please let me know, i have helped lots of girls battle them for the meds they need.

Mena, we parked your wagon over some wild chamomile and you will sleep tonight, I promise.

Amy, I am so happy your bone mets meds are doing the trick AND leaving you without any bad side effects! I can't think of better news. What are you on?

I think tomorrow morning we should all saddle up our horses and ride through the forest and look for Trenton... who better than the Circle Girls to find that child and bring him home to his daddy?

Cherly, I pray that they can do for you what they did on my sister's fibroids. They gave her meds to shrink them, and then when they were tiny, were able to remove them with minimally invasive surgery. I hope you have an easy night with less pain!

Jeannette, I hope you are healing now. Your post was so beautiful it has put a song in my head
"Reflections on the water like shadows in my mind
Speak to me of passing days and nights and passing time
The falling leaves are whispering "winter's on its way"
I close my eyes remembering the warmth of yesterday
It seems a shame to see September swallowed by the wind,
and more than that it's oh so sad to see the summer end,
Though the changing colors are a lovely site to see,
if it were mine to make a change I think I'd let it be...
but I don't remember hearing anybody asking me..."
