They only are "in season" when it is cool because they are a cookie with a big marshmallow on top covered in chocolate. They melt really easy so they can't tolerate hot weather.
A couple of years ago I asked the manager of the market if it was "Mallowmar Season" yet. And he looked at me and said "What are they? DEER??"

Vickie: so glad you had a good time. I have been watching TV about Trenton. I hope they find him soon.
Im waiting to find out what kind of sausage Carrie and Denise brought back with them. Thought it would be great to have that for breakfast. We could also have flapjacks and fresh maple syrup. Just collected some from the trees, right near the circle. Oh boy its gonna taste so good.

Got the results of my tumor markers. Both the CA15-3 and CEA went down! Happy about that - no further testing for now. My big dilemma today? My husband is entertaining at a party and wants me to go with him! Ever since my bc diagnosis, I have isolated myself here at home. It feels safe. I am already having an anxiety attack just thinking about being around a bunch of strangers! In fact I am already thinking of reason to tell my husband why Im not gonna go!! I used to be a big party person! So if I do go, maybe I can take some of you with me.0 -
Oh I just had a flashback of a very good friend. I miss Sheri very much. What a true inspiration she has been to all of us.

I saw Sheri's post in debate and was so happy to see her, although I wish she'd come to a happier place, like this or the drinking thread.
It seems Rhymeee haters have risen up again. I told her I would stayed gone the first time, but she is stronger than me. Let's all play nice, please.

christine: you have twisted my arm. I am officially going to the party this afternoon. OMG - Im gonna need a xanax! My husband is thrilled. First time I have gone out with him since Diagnosed last April 2005. Ahhahaha I feel like it's a 1st date or something.
Anyone want to come with me? I may need someone to kick me in the butt if I decide to go sit in a corner and pout.
Im not gonna be here for lunch, but I have just made some homemade bread. Have all kinds of sandwiches for everyone. Ham, turkey, tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad, peanut butter and jelly. Also made a great opened face sandwich with chopped home grown tomatoes, basil, a little olive oil, onions and garlic - for all my friends that might be vegens! (have some optional Romano and Mozzarella cheese to go on top for those that eat cheese). Got homemade cole slaw. And a special dessert (for Mena) chocolate cheesecake.
Hope you all enjoy. Probably wont be back until tomorrow morning so hope you all have a great Sunday.

I am going to have a repeat ct on the 27 sept,i have got to get the time changed because it conflicts with my herceptin injection that day so dont know if they will change the date or not.But all of you plan on being there.It is a bigger room than the chemo room so should have plenty of room for all of you to be there.And all can sing I wont back down that want to.

Niki - So glad to hear you are going to the party ... and yes... I'll go along - just slip me into a bag or something ... and when you're feeling uncomfortable or someone asks you something stupid... or makes one of those comments ... just smile and think of all of us in the circle that are with you ... and who understand you. Ya know, I don't know why I bother reading the rest of these threads (except for inspiration/prayers) My friends are here. All of you are great. I'm in awe. How do I get across in words how much I mean that!!! Such a gracious, supportive group of women and once again, I feel honored to be a part.

Gonna hang out in the middle of the circle tonight in my dreams. Wandered a week in Florida and home again now but wishing I weren't. There should be a law that your children aren't allowed to live more than 3 hours away!

I have always loved my home until BC...I can barely stand to be here now for some weird reason. I spent so many months sick on the couch with chemo...alone after mast...alone during rads...I just can't bear to even sit inside anymore...will this go away? I can't imagine a long winter cooped up in here!

Trenton update: Saw this at 2 am this morning but went to Jersey get together so this is my first chance to post:
There's a $5,000 reward for anyone with news of Trenton.
If you see a Silver Mitsubishi Eclipse with this Florida plate, call 1-800-Call-FBI. The plates read: T21 5CX
Btw, two men were in the house with Trenton's mom before she killed herself. They saw no sign or heard no sound of Trenton, as if he wasn't even there...So, there may be someone else involved.
The mother's refusal to cooperate with the police and take a polygraph are somewhat indicative of guilt...
The mother had been having musings about funerals, and her friends didn't even know she had a baby.
The FBI has the mom's computer hard drive and hopes to gain a lot of info from that.
In an interview I heard with the mom, she sounds way to calm when her baby is missing for over 1-1/2 hours...she said he was "hiding," although she looked everywhere and couldn't find him. The commentator admitted she sounded to calm and as if she didn't even care...I imagine she was ill and couldn't cope...
Please continue to pray, etc...the likelihood of finding Trenton alive is slim. But keep an eye out for that car with Florida plates. Again: Silver Mitsu Elipse: T21 5CX...
I'm exhausted...went to the Jersey get-together today, which was awesome, but required 7 hours of driving round trip...I may or may not be back...Everyone stay well and safe...Mena...xo0 -

Hi guys,
I met Mena earlier today and she told me about this thread! I would like to join you as I am just beginning this journey and can use all the support I can get! Plus I was a Girl Scout for 10 years and I can make a really good campfire! Anybody ever eat Banana Boats? Mmmmmm...banana, marshmallow, chocolate, wrapped in foil and melted in the fire....I will bring enough for everyone!

Thanks Peggy...sure did! Had such a wonderful week with my daughter and son in law in Florida (other than the stress over Trenton) and I just can't shake the "missing her" thing I have going on right now.
Trenton info...Melinda was alone when she committed suicide...there were two men at her house the night that Trenton disappeared who never saw him. Praying still that they find him safe but yes it is looking unlikely. Melinda's note left no clues either.0 -
