DH seems to be doing fine, the bite site didn't get any bigger or change much when I saw it this evening.
Grey's Anatomy 3, I've gotten to the part with George's Dad's scene and the wonderful thing Izzie did (not to spoil it for others). Man sure are alot of tear jerkers in this season thus far. I can hardly wait to see what season 4 brings. Was looking over all the new shows coming on tv, our tv guide had info on several of them. I just hate the fact they pull these new shows only after a few episodes just when you are really getting into the show.
Well we are packed and ready to go in the late morning...should get to San Diego about 4:30pm, have to change planes in AZ. I see its only going to be a high of 71 there in CA, we will be leaving behind highs of 90 so bringing our jackets.

Made for a kinda down day
I'm wrapped up in my afgan and trying to ignore the bills, which I can't pay. How do we ever afford all this stuff. It sent me to bankruptcy last year and I can't do that agian.
I have nothing on credit except my car and house but sure can't seem to find the cash to pay the bills and medical. Now I get to fight with collectors again. darn I wish all this stuff would resolve itself.
I can't afford not to work and yet I get so tired by the end of the day.
Sorry I need to go lay down and stop thinking about all this.
I promise I will get back to my usual happy self soon.

Neesie, my manperson comes right out and says "So you thinking about looking for a job this week"...I of course reply "Uh no what gave you that idea". My theory is if I don't have to work to help pay the bills they I shouldn't have to. I do my job taking care of him and all that jazz.
So I say talk to your hubby. Do you Need to work? Well then theres your answer. If you just want your own paycheck thats something to think about to. But if you don't have to and you don't desire to have your own cash flow then golly gee why go thru the effort. Shirley - thanks. It's pronouned O-dah-leese in spanish. The name was a stage name for a Cuban actress from the 1950-1960's. My dad was a huge fan of course. To hear him tell it, she was beautiful and had her picture on match books and poster boards. I guess she was the Cuban version of Marilyn because there are a lot of Odalys and most of us are from the same generation. BTW - I am glad dad named me and not mom. She was a huge fan of Elvis. I did meet a lady once named Delvis. Oh boy that's another story.

Hello CG's - it is late and I just popped in to see what was going on here - first time back since shortly after the change. Things are looking so much better. Think I'll go back and read a few posts, then try to go to bed. Need to get up early - Miriam has to go to before school care and I want to try to get her out of the house 5 or 10 minutes than we usually do when she has to go. Its her first time this year - Craig is off to SLC for the day. Next week he has a one day trip to San Fran. - OOPS, just realized leah is home, so may not have to take her after all - yeah!!! but Craig has a really early flight leaving and late flight coming home - leah may just have to be car less for the day - or maybe Noah can take me to work and then Leah get me and Craig can take my car to the airport. Oh well, time to figure it out. Saw the onc last Tuesday and still don't have my blood work results so starting to stress - it has never taken this long. Wishing everyone sweet dreams. Hugs, karen

Tweaking Nicki and Jankays toes.
Throwing a log on the fire and running for the nice warm shower...wanted to wish everyone from Amy (where are you?) to Z (who is hiding too) a wonderful, beautiful, happy, painfree, worryfree, peaceful day. There...that should about cover it LOL.
The seated Yoga is great...you basically sit in a chair to do it instead of laying on the floor (which is really hard on my back even with a pad). It is much easier to do and more of a stretching exercise than a harder workout. The nurses gave it to me when I was going through chemo. I think its about half an hour...some of the stretches I can't do so I have to skip ahead and I'm not sure exactly how long it is.
I'll be back when I get a break at work

Its Tuesday and the days are definitely getting shorter. Its now dark in the mornings when I get up. Not being a morning person, that makes it very hard for me to get out of bed.
Marsha Marsha Marsha -- I warned you! Come out and play. Hope you had a fantabulous weekend on the houseboat.
Cheri -- I agree. Staying up late when you want to is one thing but it sure seems a different story when we 'have to'. Hang in there. This will be over soon. How is the walking coming along?
Naniam -- how is your mother doing? I hope to hear that she is improving.
Sheri -- I just cannot believe that Jacob still hasn't made it home yet. I bet after this, you won't need to worry about tearing up his passport. I doubt he will ever want to leave the country again.
Sherloc -- what a dufus insurance company. Obviously, they have imcompetents working there if they put the wrong address. But, human error does happen. Have you talked to the insurance man that helped you get that policy about the huge price increase? I'm sure that is because California seems to have so many wildfires in the summer. My homeowners canceled 'earthquake' coverage on mine because I'm close to the New Madrid fault. Ummm....I'm like 200 miles away at least. But, what can you do?
Angel -- I hope you are better today. Doesn't seem like you are online as much anymore.

I have a dentist appt the week after next and I was planning on getting antibiotics to take before that to avoid infection. I think I have some old prescription medicine from a prior chronic bronchitis episode I might take some of.....

Hey Jazz................. YIKES you pulled out the dreaded "Jan whine" LOL Got in last night about 10:30 after a 10 hour drive and crashed right out. We had a great time on the houseboat. Looks like I missed something while I was gone but not even gonna ask about it cause who needs the BS? However I will say, don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot post. You are the first one to have the Circles back and I for one am grateful to you for that.

Funny bit for the morning. Hubby just left for work. Stepped out the door right into a little pile of deer poop. hahahahhahahah. He didn't think it was as funny as I did. Have no idea why they are using my porch as a short cut? Usually they just go around the house. By using the porch they have to go down or up steps? Wild animals are strange.
Odalys, a beautiful name whoever had it first. I'm name after Shirley Temple. Have never forgiven my mother for that. I have NEVER met anyone less than 20 years older than me with the name. Makes me feel old.
Hope you get the logistics worked out Karen and everyone gets to where they need to be. I sure don't miss those days.

Charlene, I slept like a baby thank you. Did get up once to pee. But went right back to snoring.
Jaz, I'm all about human error. But dang it they aren't gonna penalize me for it. I don't know about other insurance companies but Farmers canceled all their home owner policies up here in my neck of the woods. My poor agent almost had to shut down her office. I've been with Farmers for 25 years. So much for loyalty to your customers. I was furious with them and wanted to cancel all our policies. Cars, life, and lord knows what else. We have given them a small fortune over the years and except for a couple of car claims have never got any of it back. But our agent is a friend of ours and we didn't want to hurt her business. So we kept everything else with them and she found us new homeowners. She's gonna be ticked when I talk to her today. I'm just gonna let her deal with it.
Gina, how did your doc appts go yesterday?

Hi everyone,
Just came in from the hospital to shower, get a bite to eat and leave again.
Got a call around 4 this morning from my sister that mom couldn't walk. Got there, called ambulance. CT of head showed no active bleeding from a stroke. They are thinking she either had a TIA or a stroke in progress. Speech still not normal, mouth drooping a bit and she still can't walk by herself.
Keep us in your prayers - everyone is tired. This is 3 admissions - two with the heart and now this in the past week. All started last Tuesday.
Better run. Not sure when I will get back. Thanks everyone, Brenda
