A very happy thanksgiving to everyone in the circle! boy those turkeys smell good roasting over the open fire.

CY! how are you my friend?

Vertigo is the worst thing in the world. if you get another attack don't close your eyes- it makes it worse. find an object in the room like a doorknob and force yourself to stare at it really hard. When you get vertigo you get something called nystagmus and that means your eyes are moving rapidly back and forth- so if you focus on one thing it stops the nystagmus.

decrease your sodium too because that can make vertigo bad.

I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving say hi to charlie for me!

    odalys, happy thanksgiving to you.

brenda I know you are up right now with me cooking!

Angel that sure is a beautiful angel you posted.

slonedeb continued prayers are coming your way.

hey to nicki and madison! happy thanksgiving to you.

We have so much to be thankful for... the gift of this place is one of them!

    love,

Well!  Its finially here.  Tureky and football.  What else could a girl ask for?  Hoping you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your family, friends, and good food.

This is a wonderful holiday.  So many things to be thankful for and of course, Im thankful that I have met all of you.

CY:  So good to hear from you and glad you enjoyed your time with the grandchildren.  So many doctor appointments!  Hoping today you can just relax and enjoy.

Odalys:  I just know your turkey is gonna turn out perfect.  They always do Laughing  Its a good day today.  One for just sending lots of love to all we know.  Enjoy the time with your family and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Slonedeb:  Sorry about the fracture.  It can sure be painful.  I hope you have a wonderful day, despite all the stuff you are going through.  A day to love and just be thankful.

Gina:  Im missing out on a good thing.  I dont get to have the aroma of a turkey cooking in the house.  Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Jasmine:  Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Joy:  Its always good to see a post from you.  Have a wonderful day.  Even though we dont talk, I do miss you.

I have many things to be thankful for.  One of them is the fact that I found this site when I was diagnosed.  I dont know what I would have done without the support and friendship from so many of you.

I hope you have a perfect Turkey Day.

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I have tried to post my Thanksgiving picture but I can't get it to work!!!  First time I have tried to post one in the new format here.

Cy, sending Happy Thanksgiving wishes to you and yours.

Sloandeb, big hugs.  Hope you can enjoy today.  Better days are coming.

    Joyce, Happy Birthday!!

Like everyone, I cleaned and prepared some food yesterday; grocery shopped and spent some time with my Mom.  Our gathering will be later this evening with my son and family and possibly a single lady that works for us and possibly Mom joining us.  Food is simple:  turkey, bread dressing, potato salad, corn, green beans, bread and apple pie.

Packing my suitcase to head to Virgina early tomorrow morning.  Tammy and Abby were discharged from the hospital at 7:30 last night - boy, that seems awfully quick after a C-section.  I can't get pictures to post, so will work on it when I have more time.

May all my dear sisters enjoy this day with family or friends and may your life be filled with the joy and blessings of this day.

I've been thinking alot as I've been standing in the kitchen preparing food and thinking of the new granddaughter.  As we gather today with family and friends, we will give thanks for all the good things, the blessings that we have been given.   Today, I am going to give thanks for all the bad things that have happened to me for in one of those bad things I found each of you - yes, we stumble here in our relationships sometimes too but we're family - and in finding you I have found a new world of faces and names that I hurt when you hurt, laugh when you laugh, cry when you cry.  It is in the bad times when I am totally helpless, I totally and completely depend on my faith and that is when I feel the closest to my Creator.  It has happened through divorce, suicide in my immediate family, almost loosing my son at age 10, breast cancer, hurt from family or friends .   So today, those bad times have ended up bringing me much joy and happiness and I'll be giving thanks.  All of you have been the joy from much pain.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING !

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy dance for all those having good test results.

Hugs to those having a tough time or are in pain.

My prayers for those waiting for test results.

I went to Mass this morning and lit a candle for all of my bc sisters both here and the chatters. I said a special prayer for you all. Everyone on this site has a special place in my heart. I could not be going on with life if it wasn't for all the support and love found here. I apologize for not posting more but my life has been hectic. Always remember you are all in my daily prayers. I always know that if I have a problem or am scared I can count on you. And that is comforting and something to be thankful for.

Have a good day....hope to catch up soon.

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

I just wanted to pop in between making Polish Roses ( You trim baby green onions, put a dab of cream cheese on the white end and roll it in a thin slice of black forest ham...then eat in one bite....yum) and making the dough for the dinner rolls....

I hope you are all having a good day with the people you love.  I have a bit of free advice for you....remember, free advice is often worth just exactly what you pay for it, but what the hell....

Be in the moment.  That's it.  Just really be aware of each little moment of your life.  Today when you are with WAY too many relatives, or the ones you are with all get heartburn and are grumpy, don't let it stress you out.  Just stop, breath, and hug someone.  You gather with these folks because you love them, even when they make you nuts.

Somehow I have found that each little bit of life has become so precious to me.  If I really stop and look around me even something as simple as pealing an apple can be wonderful.

This is our life.  This very moment is sacred.  Don't waste it worrying about the next moment, or comparing it to last year's moment.  Live it.  Embrace it.

OK....speach over Tongue out  I sound too much like a bad yoga instructor that has smoked too much pot or something. I just have such a warm spot in my heart for all of you....I want to share what I am feeling these days, but somewhere between the feeling and the words it gets all messed up and I can't seem to get it out!

Remember that beer commercial when the one guy says:

    "I Loooooove you guys"

I guess that sums it up.

    I do love you guys.

    Have a super Thanksgiving

    Love

    Deb C

Just wanted to drop in and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Although most of you have probably already eaten, I'm just leaving to go have ours.

    Sloanedeb, a hug for you.

CY, knowing you you probably are doing the big spread today but I hope you rest.  Enjoy your turkey.

Odalys, hope that turkey turned out perfect.

Joyce, enjoy your birthday - today is my 21st wedding anniversary.

Susan, you're making your way to Florida - I'm supposed to fly there Sunday and yesterday I found out my nail lady was flying there this morning - seems to be a popular place this time of year.

    Deb, as usual, good advice.

Love you all from A to Z and don't eat too much turkey.

Good Morning Everyone:  Sadly, I woke up this morning and just read that Jacque from our boards passed away yesterday morning.  Very sad.  She was so young and vibrant and helped so many here.  I went on her blog this morning and got a little tearful when I saw the picture of her with her wonderful family.

Im hoping you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I sure did.  I definitely ate way too much food.  Still feel full this morning!  It sure was nice being with friends and family.  Eating great food and watching old slides.

Brenda:  By now you are on your way to be with your new granddaughter.  Sure did like your post.  Especially being thankful for the bad things that have happened.  Makes me just want to sit back and think about it for a while.  Im so glad that we are friends.  Hope you have a wonderful visit with your daughter and new granddaughter.

Bren:  Ya know, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays too.  While I was getting chemo, I couldnt stand the smell of turkey and all poultry.  Well yesterday, I filled my plate so full everyone was surprised.  They remember the last 2 years.  I would get a whiff of the turkey and lose my appetite.  But no yesterday - I ate way too much food.

    Candie:  Thanks for the prayers.

DebC:  Thanks for the lecture.  It was grand.

Margo:  Happy anniversary.  Ya know Im still jealous that your going to Florida.

Susan:  Hoping you are having a wonderful time.

Well, I dont get to have off the day after Thanksgiving this year.  I know its gonna be a busy day and hoping it flies by quickly.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful day.  And anyone that is going shopping today may I just say I think your crazy.  Laughing

    Love Ya

What a difference a year makes!!

I am at work today too....everyone enjoy your day!!

    Hugs and prayers,

Slonedeb - I know it's hard to hear about the passing of yet another sister; way too many have lost their battle this month.  But, please remember we are all in God's loving hands.  I hope you can find some comfort in knowing we are surrounding you with love and prayers. (((((hugs)))))
