Hi to all in the Circle,
Gina - hello to you, and Happy Birthday to the Circle!
Odalys - I'm so glad you made it to Pinkstock, the pictures look wonderful
Nicki - I didn't know who you were, I love the new name! Hope you are doing well and enjoying the end of summer my friend.
Pam - thanks for the update on Puppy, I'll keep her in my prayers. I love your quote!
SoCal - beautiful pics as always, what a great place to have a meeting!
shokk - You've talked about Ms Z, and what she's done for your sweet daughter, many times, I'm so sorry for your loss...
Neesie and Liz - good to see you guys! It is like I'm actually SEEING you all as I see your names!
Harley - woo hoo on the B9!!
slonedeb - you are always in my prayers
Valerie - I love that picture and quote, it reminds me of the "stars in the sky" one which I also love
Zazette - great to see you!
Cherryl - congrats on 8 years! double woo hoo to that!
Doris - I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, hugs and prayers for you and your family.
Bren - OK, perhaps if I didn't stay away so long I wouldn't have to keep saying, "good to see you!", but I do get just as excited every time I see the name of an old friend!
Deb - I'm so glad to hear you are seeing some improvement in the vision - bugs and fishes for sure
MB - I saw the Pinkstock pictures, it looks like it was even bigger and better than last year (and hopefully not quite so hot!) I had my ooph the weekend before, so I was still mostly on the couch, but maybe next year!!
Lynn48 and sunkistmi - I don't think we've met, I've been MIA for quite a while, I'm glad you've found the circle, it was the only thing that kept me sane for quite some time a while back...
Quick Update on me: Warren and I had a really busy summer, but are both doing well. I had my ooph this summer, which went great. Now I just have to switch my health insurance (COBRA running out, need to get individual coverage on my own now) and then determine what is/isn't covered re prophy mast/high risk screening/etc. and make a decision from there. A little stressful but I'm hopeful I won't have any issues. I've been a lunatic about keeping my radiation ear out of the sun, and it is kind of purple compared to the other ear, but not noticeable unless I point it out (at least that's what my friends tell me!) My dad is doing well, nearing the end of is chemo (colon cancer), and my sister had a scare (they saw something on her MRI) but the biopsy came back B9. So, all in all, pretty good!
Big huge hugs and love to you all!
Colleen

Three years of wonderful friendships, wonderful people. God Bless you ALL.
{{{Doris}}} {{{slonedeb}}} {{{Wendy}}}
AlaskaDeb, as always in my prayers and so glad for your better news.
FreeSpirit, I like your new name. Glad to see you're still here for all the wonderful encouragement you give us all.
Colleen, I too was MIA for quite a while. I remember you from before, glad things are going well. Especially the B9 for your sister and your Dad finishing Chemo. My parents both passed as a result of colon ca, neither had a chance for chemo.
May everyone have a wonderful day. My son is at a speed skating camp and so I am watching the Olympics.

Hello Ladies,
I usually post on the mets board but I'd like to join in here if nobody minds? You look like a nice, happy, supportive bunch of ladies! Slonedeb, I remember talking to you in chat quite some time ago.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to your board!!

Happry Birthday to the circle. Wow, two years already. Thanks to Gina for starting the circle and to all the circle sisters who have come, gone, and continue to provide so much support to all those in need.
Slonedeb - Glad you got the antibiotics. I'm surprised your doc didn't keep you in the hospital. Rest up and take care.
Doris - I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I sure can relate to what you are going through. I wish you lived close so I could give you a hug and lend you my shoulder to cry on. God be with you and your family during this difficult time.
DebC - Good luck with chemo. We can fire up the magic carpet and head over to Alaska any time you need us. Just give us a holler.
Colleen - so nice to see you. It's been a long time. Glad you checked in.
MB - you are sweet for worrying about us. We are fine, just a little annoyed with all the rain and high winds but grateful it wasn't a hurricane. Good luck on your job interviews. They be crazy not to hire you on the spot!
Love and Hugs,

Yum....loved the cake!
Got CSF chemo #3 Today. Spinal tap was not too bad, but they must have hit a nerve that goes down to my hip. The sucker still burns. Doc said that I have been lucky not to have that yet. Usually it is wither the local etting into the nerve or the needle brushing in. Youch! Doc said it should not stay around long.
My vision is a bit better again today and my cell count in the CSF is down to 14.....baby steps, baby steps.
SloneDeb - Sending you extra hugs. Hope your strep gets better soon.

Slonedeb, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Man, you've been through so much! I sure hope your infection gets better.
Debc, that is such exciting news about your cell count going down. It is encouraging to see that chemo really does what it's supposed to do. I am so glad your vision is getting better. What a relief!
Happy Birthday, Circle, a few days late.

Hello, OD, Sheri, Valerie, Z, Pammy and everyone in the circle ! Bye-the-way HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to the CIRCLE !!!!!! Is there any of that cake left ?????

Hello to Everyone! I missed the Birthday Party, but thanks for saving me a piece of cake. Can you believe its been 3 years? Goodness. Some of us were here from the beginning and some are new. We have shared so much over the last 3 years and I know for sure I would not have made it without every single on of you. Past - present - future.
Z: Wow, what a good surprise. Its so good to see you again, and Im loving your pictures also. Hoping all is going well with you.
I dont have much time tonight, but I will catch up with ya all in the morning.
Nicki

How is everyone doing this evening? Special hugs to DebC, Slonedeb, and Doris. Hope you are doing better today.
Any cake left?
MB - Let Tim know the Grand National is NOT drive able. It's been sitting there for the past 10 years without any progress. I doubt Jose will be able to get it running for the next Pinkstock. Unless I can get the folks from Overhauling show to take it away. Man that would be such a nice surprise for him.

Yesterday something kept bugging me. I knew the date was important but with my chemobrain I was lucky I knew it was Thursday.. it was Thursday right?
The circle was started two years ago and it grew and grew. We made many long lasting friendships and we sadly lost some dear sisters.
It has had its ups and downs, but like any family, that is normal.
I miss some of the people who we don't see any longer and I worry that they are OK.
I may not post as often as I would like, but I do want to say
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to a great bunch of women and man, and I will always be eternally grateful for the friendships I have made here.

That was so nice Gina. This was one of the first threads I read during my radiation treatment. Didn't really read too much before that as I like to live in denial sometimes. When I got brave enough to venture outside of this thread, I became more comfortable with my dx. But it was this thread and the lovely ladies that I learned about, that kept me here and has enabled me to meet some very sweet women. You being one of them.
Happy Anniversary.

Happy Anniversary and thanks again to everyone. The biggest part of my journey was spent right here in the wagon circle and I will always be greatful to all of you.
