Glad to hear that our southern Tx friends, including Lucky Mel, made it through Ike safe and sound.  Just a quick check in from Pa as the packers have me surrounded with boxes and internet access will cease tomorrow.  I'm flying out on Sunday and should be safe and sound in our little temporary apartment that night. Furniture should arrive at the new house before Phill, DD and DS complete the road trip with the dogs.  SIL and I are carrying two cats on the flight.  The whole menagerie should be settled into our new digs by Wednesday night.  Love and hugs to all.  I'll be back soon.

    Hi all,

Thanks for all the concern about the storm.  Geez, what a horrific sight in Galveston.  We have friends that live on the west end of the island and they lost the roof off their home.

My daughter's house in Seabrook is located in a subdivision called Seabrook Island, Mel.  Maybe you are familiar with that.  Lucky for them, the only damage they had was a French door upstairs was bent by the storm and leaked a little, otherwise, unscathed.  They have only been in the house about3 months.  They were without power and water for 3 days after they got home.  They received power down there on the coast before my daughter in North Houston.  She was out for 6 days.  They did have a generator and we had an unusual early fall spell.  Lows in high 50's and highs in low 80's.  Just wonderful weather with low humidity.  What a blessing for those without power. I am so, so sad for all the people in Galveston who lost everything.  It is truly a disaster area.  Hard to believe a Cat 2 hurricane can do such damage and devastation.

Twink,  wahooo!!!! On your way on Sunday.  How exciting.  Hope you are feeling better.  Are you through with chemo now.  I sure hope so.

Mel, I think you are so smart to stay put in lovely Colorado.  No electricity and other necessities of life is not a situation to walk into.  Maybe they will have everything back to normal by the time you return.

Catherine, my life has been a whirlwind lately.  I still haven't gotten my camera and mic hooked up again for Skype.  We will be leaving for Las Vegas a week from today.  WooHoo!!!  Plan on having fun and relaxing.  My "sisterfriend" Brenda is going with Mike and I.  I know it will be a blast.

Great to hear from MelanieW and Carynn and Twink.  Missing Leah, Pat, hope you are both doing well.  Terry too. And of course dear Marsha.  And all the FCCers.

As you can see I am up quite early.  Awakened by a "Charlie horse" in my right calf.  Ouch!  So got up, got IcyHot, got coffee and here I am.

Love and hugs to all.  Any date yet for Dallas?  I am ready.  Let's go!  Sammie Kay

P.S. Wouldn't it be a hoot to get tickets to a Cowboy's football game while we were there.  I am a HUGE fan!

    Hi everyone

As Caryn says it is pretty quiet here just now. Having a break from marking. It is Sunday afternoon here. DH is cutting up some firewood just to get it away, don't think we will be having any more fires this year.

I am trying to make some descisions about school. I come home so tired each night I am beginning to wonder if teaching full time is worth it. We will see.

Arthritis has settled back to its normal level but my arm has swollen with lymphoedema, evidently it could be linked.

Must go and set up my laptop so that I can get this marks into my markbook as reports are due tomorrow.

Hope you are all having a restful weekend.

Hello All, hope everyone is doing well.  Pat and Twilah, thinking of you both!

Melanie, well believe it or not, I'm heading to Disney in a couple of weeks.  The Komen Race for the Cure is being held at the Disney Wide World of Sports and a friend and I are signed up for it.  We're thinking of heading over to Jellyrolls too!  I'll request Pink Cadillac just for you.  LOL

I sold a friend of mine a house on the lake (it came with a dock AND a party boat) so we are heading out for his first lake party.   Just wanted to pop in and say hi all.

    Leah, where are you sweetie??

SammieKay - Are things getting back to normal after the storm? Still thinking of you and hope that you and yours are well.

Alyson - So I guess summer's coming for you now. It's still really nice here with temps in the low 100's during the day and mid 70's to 80's at night. No humidity, so it's almost a repeat of spring. Did you come to any decisions about teaching, or still weighing your options?

Marsha! Nice to see you. Our RFTC is the first week in Oct. DH, some friends and I are all walking this year. We're really looking forward to it. Had to chuckle if you and the girls are heading out after. Remember last year, we went to an "after party" after the race. Had a great time but also my first hangover since dx. ;) It was fun tho!

Ok, gonna go put Leah, Catherine, & the rest of the missing ladies avatars on milk cartons.;) Phone home! See you all soon.

Ok, ok, don't put me on a milk carton!

All of the posts come to my phone thru email, so I am up to the minute on everything, just haven't been logging on to write. Am on a project from heck... and after 12 hours on the computer for work, I don't want to do anymore when I get home. Bowl of cereal and I hit the hay.

I usually do a big trip in October, (last two years were Europe), but this year will only be a week in Seattle/Washington wine country. Going oversees was way more than I can deal with for a limited amount of days. So that will be 10/11 to the 18th.  And you know how you have to work to "get ahead" before you leave... (sigh).

I have been working on my condo, too, making it more hospitable. Since I am spending more time there, I decided to make it more homey, rather than hotel looking, and am having a BALL sprucing it up. It is so nice not to have to consult with anyone else about what he might want/allow/tolerate... I also found out I am a pretty good (wall) painter, so I am doing it all myself! Such accomplishment.  As soon as the kitchen cabinet door knobs get sealed, I will post pic.

I had a little scare with the CA27.29 tumor marker going way up, (still normal, but way up from where it was). Had a retest a month later (this past week) and it is now back where it has been for the past year. Don't know what makes it go up if not disease, but it is scary. I didn't want it to be pre-shadowing some bad news on the next PET/CT scan, which is 11/29.

I know it feels like it is all about me, but I have actually been quite busy with some local (physically local) "newbies" who are starting chemo, as well as two women friends going thru divorce. I am the go-to gal for unofficial legal help. (Did you guys know I am a non-practicing lawyer?) So no end of stuff going on.

I am also trying to exercise 3x/week, and treat myself to some fun things. Saw the new movie "The Women" Friday night, (was ok), and am planning on "Nights in Rodanthe" this Friday night. I went to an Open Studios thing in Boston yesterday and treated myself to a lovely photograph which now I have to get framed.

So all in all, having a good time, working hard, playing hard, rollercoaster riding with my BC, loving my friends and enjoying wonderful weather.

I love and obsess about you all each and every day!  Cool  Hope everyone is happy, and loved, and dealing with the hands we all have in front of us.

     Love.

Well, it's official ... the pelvic ultrasound was perfectly normal and I have energizer bunny ovaries!

CR&P!  Now, I have to worry about all that stuff again ... AND I HAVE TO GO THROUGH MENOPAUSE AGAIN!!!

OK. I guess the alternative was worse - LOL!!

Glad to see everyone checking in ...

Twilah, hope that the unpacking isn't too terrible.

Pat, how are you feeling these days?  When's your next scan?

Alyson and Carynn, sorry to hear about your RA symptoms.

Marsha, sold a house?  What wonderful news ... does this mean that the economy is turning around in Florida?  We can use you as our bellweather for what's happening in the country!

SammieKay - good news that you and your loved ones survived the hurricane without too much trouble.

Terry, Catherine, SammieKay, Phyl (where are you Phyl?), Leah .. hugs to you all!

Carynn, don't want to be on milk cartons either: I have been busy here... can't show you all the knitting, but I definitely use the hands I got in front of me... and we went camping...The weather is glorious and we are trying to make the most of it before it gets cold again... I bike a lot, too.  Thinking of you all. Twilah, thank you and I hope you landed OK and everything goes as planned... Take care, girls

    Hi all of you.

I am not missing in action.  Just busy as heck!   Of course, the bank is hectic as people worry about FDIC insurance and the markets.   Especially older folks, who make up a large part of our market share.   Someone asked about my bank...we are stable and well capitalized so we are fine and should weather this stuff okay.

Now on to home....my kitchen looks great!  If I do say so myself.   I painted the walls ivory (matches my appliances).  Then I stamped on squares of a tan(the leftover paint from my living room)  in a tile pattern above my counter tops ....it looks great...like travertine tile.   Even my DH and DS said they liked it!   DH installed my laminate flooring over the weekend and stained the new baseboards etc tonite.   I painted the hallway and still have the dining room to do.   So we have been reall busy.   So, even though I have been thinking about all of you, I haven;t taken the time to sign on.   I am going to re-cover my dining room chairs just as an update.   Probably not going to get new countertops yet.   The paintjob really brightened up the kitchen and I can live with the butcher block counters for now.   We will be getting a new fridge.

I am having foot surgery on 10/10 - removal of an "arthritic bunion" and repair of the joint.  I cannot bend my big toe to even walk...and have been walking on the outside of my foot.  I am now at the point that the bones and joints on the outside of my foot are giving me pain...so it is time.  I have had this "thing" for years and have put this off at least five years.   So I decided to do it before the end of the year, since my insurance is currently paying at 100%.    I might even try to have the onc let me have my bone scan, dexa scan and CT scan in Dec...he was planning it for Feb, but if I can get it paid for at the higher level, why not.   I haven;t had any of these tests since the start of chemo in 2/07, so it should be okay.

Leah....I ready about the flyfishing experience in "Women & Cancer" magazine.  Didn't notice you in any of the pictures, though!

Twilah, by now you are in Texas!   So sad you are not a Pennsylvanian anymore.   But at least you won't have to deal with snow & ice!

Sammie & Mel...so glad the hurricane didn't destroy your homes.  What a relief!  It must be a great worry every time a storm is predicted.

Catherine....You look fantastic in your picture and you are having such a great time camping.  I miss the campouts we took when the kids were little....we gave it up when the baseball etc started...our summers just were too busy.   Maybe DH & I will do that again someday.

Hillary, how is school going?  You are probably very busy too.

Well, it is after 11, got to sleep soon.   Want to chat with DD online before I go to bed.

I know I missed some of you....but I love you all...Alyson, Carynn, Marsha, Melanie, Pat, Phyl...

    (((((hugs to all)))))

Wow Catherine, what a beautiful sweater for your boy!  He looks very cozy in his sweater.

You do such beautiful work.  You should be proud.

Terry, your kitchen sounds beautiful.  I know how much you will enjoy it,  I really enjoy my new rooms too.

Leah, sounds like you are getting a lot of living in.  Good for you.  Where is your condo?  Close by your home?  Don't work too hard.  But I know, you work hard and play hard.

Hope this finds Twink and Pat feeling good these days.

I just wanted to post a note before I go to bed.  Have to work tomorrow and Saturday we leave for Las Vegas.  We will be there until Wednesday, Oct. 1.  Probably won't be posting during that time.

Hugs and best wishes to all .  Alyson, are you considering retirement?  Hope you are having good luck with the lymphedema treatment.  I  learned  the massage for draining the lymph fluid.  It really helped when I did it. But I found it something like doing exercises, which I don't do either.  I am such an undisciplined person.  My lymphedema is very mild and is only in the upper arm and trunk.  I am thinking when the PS works on my revision of recon, that he will do some work on that axilla and loosen up that tight tissue where the lymph node dissection was done.  It is really a sorry job.  They tacked the tissue to the chest wall and there is a big hole there when I raise my arm.  He said he didn't do it, but he would fix it.  We'll see.

Hillary, so glad all your tests were negative. Hooray!

Well gals, I will pull a slot machine for each of you.  Love to all, Sammie Kay

P.S.  Hope Melanie, Hillary, Carynn, Marsha, Terry, Twink, Pat, Phyl, Catherine, Leah, Lucky Mel W., are fairing well.  Oct.5 will be two years since my original diagnosis.  Doesn't seem possible.  My how time flies.

Hello everyone! I've been doing well, breathing problems resolving well as this tumor shrinking with the rads. I have to share something with you all something that happened during my weekly rads oncologist appointment this past Monday---my usually stoic doctor came into the room and says "are you ready for some good news....some REALLY good news?". He was really animated and just bursting at the seams to give me the report of a chest scan done last week to check progress. Well of course I said "Yes, tell me" and he said he didn't see the mass at all, that it was gone!!  He went on to say instead of 33 treatments he would only do a total of 25 since the mass was gone.  Well I was ecstatic and I blurted out "show it to me" (he always has copies of scans in my folder). He looked but didn't find it, then he had the technician pull up the scan on the computer and began to scroll the scan backwards and forwards, then he suddenly said to the tech, is this the right one.....this isn't what I saw.  Long story short, he realized he had mistakenly viewed my scan from 2004 when he took care of me after a lumpectomy.

Wow he was so at a loss for words and apologized profusely. He thanked me for "testing" him by asking to see the picture thereby seeing his mistake.  He did show me how the mass has really responded well to treatment by shrinking alot, but alas it is not gone. So I'll do the entire 33 treatments.

I could have been very angry but somehow I wasn't because my next question was going to be "then why do I still cough alot and why is this lump still visible??". So even though it was a very awkward situation, it ends up it's still good news, the mass is shrinking and I have 7 more rads to go.

Oh, Pat... what a bummer... and an embarrassement... what kind of scans do you get? You are a brave trooper... hope you'll finish soon and that they'll keep this in check for good.  Sweet dreams, (((((((((((((((((Pat))))))))))))))))

SammieKay, I hope will bring you luck with the slot machines... have a great time in Vegas...

    Love to all,

Primel, it was a simple cat scan of the chest, which is what found the mass in the first place.  The rads oncologist said he didn't usually do another one in mid treatment --they usually wait until 30 days after the last rads since up to that time cancer cells are still affected and dying off. But in my case he was curious since the mass was so large (7x5 cm) and wanted to see what progress was being made.

Of course I also had PET scans, bone and brain scans before rads started but thank goodness nothing but this chest mass was found.

    Hi all

Just checking in to see how evryone is. We are on our Spring Break now - two weeks with no school. It is a beautiful day to and daylight saving began today.

Tomorrow DH and I are off to Wellington which is about 8hrs drive away. On Thursday our church's General Assembly is on down there. We are both commissioners; it will be interesting as htere is p[lenty of debate on various issues. DH has been nominated to the Council, something that he enjoys.

DD2 was around this afternoon and we sorted out a few more things for this baby. I have to knit some bootees while away so went and got more wool. DD1 will be here soon for dinner so I had better get that started.

Not sure if I will get anywhere near a computer while away but will try.

     Look after yourselves.

Leah - It's been so nice talking to you. (So ok, I WONT put you on a Milk carton!) It sounds like you've been a good kind of busy. Your trip is right around the corner! I'm a bit jealous. My next time off (non Doctor related) isn't until November when the race comes here. I'm so looking forward to it.

Hillary - So glad to hear that all is well, bunny ovaries and all!

Catherine - You've been the good kind of busy too! Love the pictures. Look how long your hair is! Dahling - you look MARVELOUS!! Sure looks like the kids are indeed enjoying their new sweaters. :)

Terry - I forgot that you are in banking. I bet it is crazy now! As soon as I'm done here, I'm off to read the economic proposal. Did you take any pictures of the stamping? I'm not brave enough to try that, but I really like the look of it.

SammieKay - Cant wait to hear about Vegas. Hope you are enjoying yourself. Do you know when you'll have your revision done? Do keep us posted.

Pat - Wow! What an experience. I'm sorry that you had that bit of a roller coaster ride. I'm glad that all in all it was good news and that you're about done with rads. Hang in there!

Alyson - You've been busy too! Enjoy your trip today. Sounds like you better get knitting.

Off to enjoy the races. Have a nice Sunday all. Talk to you soon!

Alyson, did you feel the earthquake? Seems like a pretty strong one... Kermadec islands, definitely a French Brittany name... tell us you are all ok... enjoy the weather.

Twink, thinking of you... trying to imagine the settling in... hope you met with your new onc already  and that you like him/her? Wishing you all, dh, kids and dogs the best of acclimatation... you probably do not mind the sunny weather....  (((((((((((((((((((Twink)))))))))))))))))))

Carynn, you do not seem to have slowed down a bit... which is probably normal for a fan of fast races... have a good time. The doggy sweater is just one of my zillions knitting projects... I could spend my time doing just that, on the deck, listening to the birds and day-dreaming...

Have all a lovely day, Leah glad you were missed by the storm... Big sunny hugs to all, I am not listing everyone of you but I mean ALL of you

Wow!  What a wild weekend!! We had about 10 inches of rain... it POURED from Friday to Sunday.  I didn't do much... watched a movie, and I did go to the Open Studios in between showers. I bought a lovely photograph of white tulips, and a small painting. Since Lowell is NOT Boston, the prices were more than reasonable. Also a small bracelet. Anyway, kitchen is chugging along. One more coat of paint that I have to go purchase.

But lots of things coming together. I try not to stress about the stock market, and other things I can't control. Have been having a lot of political discussions lately, which do nothing to lower my BP!

Counting the minutes till vacation. I am definitely not loving my work these days. Wish I could quit. But not an option.  Gritting my teeth a lot.

Love you all. Don't work too hard !

Catherine - How's work going? Keeping you busy?

Leah - How's the condo coming? Are you finished, or still making improvements?

Twink - Thinking of you a lot these days. Are you settled in?

Really nothing new to report here. It's been a busy weekend, enjoying being a couch potato today. (((Hugs)) to all.

    Hello, All!

Just stopped by to say goodnight and see how everyone was.

My condo is coming along. I have probably painted all I can by myself. The living room and bedroom will be too much furniture to move by myself. I may pay someone to do those two rooms!

All in all, time is flying by.  Nothing new to report on the work front or the economic front!

I echo Carynn's hope that Twilah is all settled in and things are good there... Hope to hear from Twilah and Melanie soon!

    Love you all.

Leah, I have been thinking of you... we landed in a lovely state park campground by the platte river... we are considering getting into fly fishing...Smile

We are seriously training for post-petroleum times....

All is well here, onc visit on the 13th, hopefully uneventful... aches and pains (joints) but feeling very good otherwise... Mailed my baby knits to France, and started more of the same (my adorable neighboor should have her baby in a couple of weeks).  Work is coming in again, but September was very laid back, sunny and plain nice...

Checking in from Texas y'all.  We're here and not even close to settled in other than having all utilities to the house hooked up.  For the first time, we've decided not to have a land line and are diving in 'headfirst' to the wireless world (each with our own cell phone or two - I have a new one to send out the number for).  I've had my first meeting with the local onc and my first treatment.  Neither of which I was overly impressed with.  Nothing serious just a gut feeling.  I will see the onc  monthly (as opposed to weekly for 3 weeks on at HUP).  They assume a port here and it took 4 attempts for the infusion IV on Tuesday.  Other than that, I guess the sheer volume may be higher than Philly as it's a general oncology treatment center, not specialized in BC.  My SIL has gone home for a period of time (she was with us for 2 months thankfully) and my father arrives tomorrow - an event I'm looking forward to but there was a little tension between he and my DH last visit (disagreement over alternative treatment options).

Gak... just lost the non-copied half of my post.  So frustrating.  So, I'll just say hi and hugs to all.

Howdy, Twilah... so glad to see your post this morning as I emerge (8:45!!).  Could your previous onc in PA recommand somebody in particular close to where you live now?  How are you doing with your tx se's? Are they still the same (nausea, etc.) or do you go through with less issues? Enjoy your dad's visit.  I wish you to discover gradually the charms of Texas... and when you need some comfort food, you have La Madeleine (the first one was open in Dallas over 20 years ago, I'd say)...  Take good care of yourself, sweetie, rest a lot and enjoy your new place (it's always such an adventure to land somewhere new where you have to recreate your habitat...).

Pat, how are you doing in Antone? and SammieKay in Victoria.... not to mention LuckyMel (are you back home?  I can't believe what I see on TV... our dear Galveston coast, and Bolivar... what a tragedy).

This week, I truly have to get my acts together: big brachytherapy project on my desk -- user interface and documentation to translate... and the weather is still lovely (cooler, though), tons of things to do in the yard, plus project of redoing the bathroom to have a shower stall with bars instead of the clubfooted tub (so it is safer for DH whose balance does not get any better)... so, plumbers, tilers, etc...

    Thinking of y'all, always...

    Hi all,

It is indeed quiet here.  I am off today, so will take the opportunity to post.

Welcome to Texas Twyla.  Got that "ya'll" down already. LOL.  How are you?  Hope you are feeling good.  Will you email me your mailing address to skbee2@aol.com?  Please.  I received it from Hilllary, but didn't write it down and then it got dropped from my old mail list.  I want to mail something to you.  Thanks.  Hope you aren't missing the Fall season of PA too much.  I wish we had more of a Fall season here.  It is just summer and winter.  Of course, I am farther South than you are.  Maybe Dallas has an earlier cool season.

Love your pictures Catherine.  The water looks beautiful in the fishing pics.  Did you see the dog show on Animal Planet Sat. night?  The PGPV or is it PBGV was in the final for best in show.  Such a cutie.

Hope everyone is doing well.  I just started physical therapy for my back.  My usual chronic muscle spasms all up and down my back.  I have an appt. with he PS next Wednesday.  We must have a heart to heart.  He mentioned to me, in passing in the hall of the OR dept., that I should let him do a Latismus Dorsi flap.  OH NO!  Not me,.  But I didn't get into it with him on the job.  But I will in the office. I just want him to  fix the left implant to match the right one.,  I will not go through 5 hours of surgery and 3 months of rehab to fix this situation.  If he can't fix the implant that never dropped or fluffed and just sits there immovable and the other one that is huge and falls into my armpit when I lie on my back, then he needs to refer me to someone who can.  Does that sound unreasonable to anyone?

Hope to hear from everyone soon.  Where is Marsha, MelanieW, Terry, Pat, Phyl ?  Good hearing from Twyla, Catherine, Allyson, Carynn, Leah

Love to all of you girls, Sammie Kay

Sammie...I am here!   Just busy and quiet...working on getting the house back in order after our little "facelift" to kitchen and dining room.   They look so nice!

Twilah....PA misses you!   Hope Texas treats you well....and you are feeling okay.

I am having the bunion (the kids call it "Paul Bunion") removed tomorrow... 6 weeks or so off work.  I must say, I am looking forward to NOT going to work, but not to the upcoming discomfort.   Hopefully though, will be able to wear some shoes that fit better and feel better when I go back to work....work has truly been a drag lately....banking...ugh!

I have some cross-stitch patterns and floss ready to keep me busy with my foot propped up.

    Love to all of you!

Hello everyone, nice to read everyone's doing well and Twink, glad to have you in Texas...welcome!  Catherine is right, La Madeleine is great eating and my ol time favorite is their chicken pot pie! YUM!!

As for me I finised the 33 rads 3 days ago and get re-scanned mid November to see what progress was made and then decide if chemo is in order. While I know the mass has shrunk (I can feel it on my chest) it's still there and I still cough constantly, cant walk 15 feet without breathing hard, can't drag the trash can to the curb without stopping to catch my breath. So while I have made progress--no more removal of chest fluid needed, and I can sleep lying flat--I'm nowhere near how I used to be and haven't been able to return to work.  I'm trying to stay focused and not panick regarding finances and as of yesterday started the process of applying for SSDI with the support of my onc.  It's not what I WANT but what I will NEED if I can't work and there are so many particulars, conditions involved so I thought I'd start it now and go from there.

    Hi all,

Great to hear from Pat and Terry.

Pat, I think you are very wise to initiate the process for SSDI.  That is a long process.  Hope yu get good news about the shrinkage of the tumor.  Do take care and get plenty of rest.((((((Pat)))))

Well, Miss Terry, good luck with your foot surgery.  I know you will enjoy the time away from work.  What a blessing, sort of.,  Bunion surgery is a tough way to be off work LOL.  Most of the patients I have recovered from bunion surgery did very well. They didn't have much pain because of the numbing medication used.  Plus they will send you home with pain pills.  Good luck (((((((((Terry))))))))))))))).

Hope everyone else is doing well and having a wonderful weekend.

Twink, by the way, I found the email with your Dallas mailing address.  I immediately put it in my address book so I wouldn't lose it.  Hope yu are doing well.((((((((Twink))))))).

    Love to all, Sammie Kay

    Hi,all...

Bunion surgery made me smile... how wonderfully mundane!

Pat, I am sorry to hear that you are feeling you have to take the SSDI route. There is a lot of info on some of the metastatic boards here, as I drop in there occasionally. The way I read the law, Stage IV is pretty automatic. I also did not hear too many horror stories of the length of time it took, but we shall see. Please keep us updated... it will be a learning process, I am sure.

Well, I am sitting in Chicago on my way to Seattle. It already feels great to know I won't be at work for 5 days...that is worth a lot!  Tomorrow, we are taking a tour of Pike's Market. Other than that, I want to see a play, and a movie. WIneries are a 1/2 hour away, so we will be heading there probably mid-week. Hope to visit Chateau Ste Michelle, which has my favorite Gewurtraminer (sp?) wine, and maybe find some unknown to New England boutique wineries. Ferry ride somewhere if the weather holds up. Will keep you all posted!!!!!Laughing

Other than that, the only other news worth discussing (since the money situation and politics makes me weary) is that my DD turns 21 next week. I truly can't believe 21 years have passed since she came into the world. Strangely enough, the night before she was born, was Black Friday on the stock market in 1987!!!!  But I am almost ready to launch her out into being a productive member of society!

Much love to all. Will post soon, with maybe a pic or two!~
