    I fell asleep before JR's final dance, what was his score?  I was so glad he won.  He is not only charming but also such an inspiration.

    odalys, Karina was runner up with Mario on Season 3...that was when Cheryl Burke and Emmitt Smith won the trophy.

    JR and Rob both got perfect scores for their last dances. 

    It was really a very good season and I'll miss it now that it won't be on for awhile.  I used to like Maks so much, but his attitude has soured me.  I really didn't care for Hope Solo, altho I love her name and I also love her strength of character.  Ricki Lake and Derek didn't seem like they had the right chemistry, even tho some of their dances were great.  And Derek is terrific at choreography.  I like him a lot, but he's almost too polished, if that makes sense.

    I never cared for Tom Bergeron prior to this show.  As the MC for DWTS, he is absolutely perfect and a big part of the entertainment.

    I don't care for Brooke Burke 'Charvet' at all!  She just reminds me of a Steppford wife.  Very bland and too perfect  & fake.  Looks like a statue. Not much personality. Constantly calls all the couples 'you guys' -- for example, 'you guys worked so hard this week' or 'how are you guys feeling about the dance?' It is such an over-used word (one of my pet peeves) and it gets extremely boring to listen to her ask the same bland questions to the couples.  That's my least favorite part of the show.  Her.  lol

    It was so right for JR to win.  And I'm happy for Karina.  It's funny because she can be such a Beotch and on the other hand, she can be so sultry and sublime.  She wasn't much of a beotch this season because she had a good partner. When she has a bad partner, like Billy Ray Cyrus (ugh!), she gets really nasty (which I think is funny).

    Oh, I also wanted to add that I loved the recap of the voted-off celebrities.  Nancy Grace did that dance to the "always look  on the bright side of life" music which I thought was so cute.  Chaz and Lacy were good.  And Carson Kressley stole the show a little with his Vogue.

    TheDivineMrsM - Yes..season three.  I remember now.  Thanks.  You are too funny.  Do you remember all the drama with Brooke when she was a contestant?  Yikes!  Derek is very talented and he doesn't seem to have much of an ego yet.  Hunky Maks is another story.  He did get on my nerves this season.  I think him and Hope are not a good match.  It seemed their egos clashed at times.  JR was good but I still liked Ricki better even though I've never been a fan of hers. 

    Next season begins in March and I love that Julianne Huff will be back.

    Odalys:  Where did you hear that Julianne Hough will return next season?  I thought she was too busy with her singing and movie career that she couldn't take all that time off to return.  She is a fantastic dancer (like her bro, Derek) so I would love to be able to watch her dance again.  Sure hope you got the correct info.

    TheDivineMrsM - I feel the same way about Brooke!  Surprised She's such a Debbie Downer sometimes, and asks some really stupid questions. She still looks uncomfortable in front of the camera, and if it weren't for Tom Bergeron's humor, it would be really painful to watch.

    Last night's show was a great recap, and I'm so glad Chynna got her dance steps right this time!

    I was sad when Ricki was put in third place, but glad JR got to win. Even with all his improvement over the season, I think it would have been a real stretch to put Rob in first.

    Dang - AI is over, DWTS is over, now who am I going to yell at on TV? Laughing

    Hi, I had company from Wednesday on so never had a chance to check back here. I was happy with the final results I thought it was a fun finale program. I am sad now because there will be nothing to watch on TV until March Cry.

    I'm reading rumors that Melissa Gilbert, Sherri Sheperd & Jack Waggoner (Heather Locklear's ex) may be contestants on the upcoming season.

    Thanks for the heads up.  I haven't been keeping up with the rumors. Only a couple days before the contestants are announced.  Can't wait and am looking forward to comparing notes.

    I think Urkel is gonna bring it.  Melissa Gilbert has a pretty big fan base, so I expect her to go far in the competition no matter how good or bad she is. Gladys Knight-interesting!  Same with Martina Navra.....well, however you spell her name.  It'll be fun to find out who everyone's partnering with.

    I'll probably watch since Max and Derek will be back.  I am not crazy about the selections this season for the celebs but I'll watch Max and Derek dance with a rat if I have to! :)

    Hi ladies.  First chance I get to log in this week.  Glad to see so many will be joining us this season.  I like the cast...very diverse.  Hope Erkel comes out at some point during the season. He was a riot! 

    BTW - has anyone seen the re-runs playing on GSN network (channel 233, DirecTV)?  They are up to season 4 tonight. The season Apolo and Julianne won.  Anyone remember their "paso doble" dance?  It's on right now...awesome!   Nice seeing all the dancers and celebs from past episodes.
