    PlantLover...that pic could've been taken at the rest area in the middle of my daily commute...looks like my home!:)

    I love the mountains, lakes and rivers, too...

    How wonderful to have such scenery. I live in NJ and believe it or not there is still some beuatiful mountain areas that are unoccupied. Not as vast as your photo, but as colorful.

    The beach is inviting us all. Any time of day. Sunrise, Soooo colorful and serine. Don't forget your inner tube

    I'll bring my hiking boots and H20

    Ohhhh CLC, you get to see that type of view daily??  Nice!  That pic was taken in Southern VA.

    Yes, I also love lakes and rivers.  I could sit by a river and listen to it all day!  We have a little creek in our backyard and we built a little bridge across it.  I'll often sit on the bridge with my eyes closed and listen to the water as it flows over the rocks & pretend I'm in my mountains.  

    Here's a pic of my creek and bridge ...

     

    Okay Chef ... I'll bring an inner tube and my boots too!

    Have I mentioned lately how much I just love this thread and you guys!  

    Now, back to reality and Saturday chores.  Later ladies!

    I LOVE your creek, and bridge - hope there are frogs around...the spring peepers are my favorites, a real harbinger of the warmth and GARDENING DAYS to come....

    Well, anyway, I was going to post a pic of my favorite part of my commute...driving along the Upper Delaware River...along a very curvy road looking out over the river...

    first you have to have your photo on line like photo bucket the fastest way

    it to click on the photo so it is big and just drag it over to bco where you post a reply

    Lisa ... your pictures are beautiful!  I really suck at taking pictures and wish mine would turn out as lovely as yours. I swear, one day I'm going to see the mountains on the West coast!

    Your pix are beuatiful.  Have you traveled the world?  I'm stuck here in snowey NJ and you've taken me places. Where is that last pix, San Diego? You added more I meant the ocean an cliffs.

    That is the Upper Delaware River between PA and NY...

    Lisa...I love your snowcapped mountains...

     Mandalala...your pic reminds me of my time in Ontario as a teenager on wilderness canoe trips...

    What a beautiful world we live on....:)
