OMG, It's Looks like my Beach Bunnies are having way too much fun today without me! I am up dressed & primped for Singing tonight! FA LA LAA LAAA LAAAA! I need to go practice with the Band (DH's dj stuff)! I am off for fun, wish you all could be there to hear me sing! I'd probably looz it with people I know! LOL! Pray for no Voice Frogs tonight! I will be back later to do a little catching up!

Are the oysters actually served on the shell and you eat it off of that? Do you remove any pearls you find?? quit laughing it is a legit question, LOL. isn't it???? Are they slimy like the ones I have seen in the resturant? I just need to get a really good visual in my head. Do you actually put bbq sauce on them? Come on Sahalie, I love you, don't laugh at me. Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow and you make a small fortune!!!!

I love the beach, too!! We love the beach so much that my dh and I moved to NC, to be close to the beach!!

Yes, you can find pearls inside oysters... I haven't found any, but I read that stress and sand gets inside and irritates the inside of the clam and this is what causes pearls.

Yep, this is the best most relaxed thread on the board and has the most calming pics. You might want to pm Margaret, she is going through some of the stuff you are, she talks about it a few pages back. Hope you are doing better. I would love to find some real pearls from real oysters, I probably would have to make some craft with them though or somekind of homemade earring. Would love to live near the beach but our place is paid for and family is here so we nearly always vacation where there is a beach. Hugs to all from A to Z, my grandson is here and feeling better and he wants the computer for awhile so will check back in when I can.

Hi, I'm baaaack! I am so glad I did not do the new song I was practicing w/o trying it before hand. There was only 1 version in our Karaoke Library, & not a great one at that. So I will have to practice a bit before I do it in front of an Audience! No Frog in My throat tonight, thank you very much......as I did do Independence Day by Martina Mcbride.
Though there were lots of butterflies present on board my ship! I sure could have used a glass of that Crystal there Spar! 
But was a little behind on the beat of the song I did do. But then I usually practice before I do it & I didn't do that tonight. I didn't do all my home work tonight!

Hi Beach Friends, Life is wonderful even when life hands you a bowl of nuts you are never alone. Shar I cant have those drinks with chemo meds,Whats for me! I also need something sweet to make it til Wednesday when they tell me the biopsy report. Praying they will take them out. today is almost tomorrow...... speed read thru the day of bling and nuts: funny people
just worked w/my arranging partner for a couple more hours -- babysat the 3 bambinos for a couple of hours before that
presentation in Cinci was technologically 'spot-on' so i'm tickled pink (LOL) had a very intriguing inquiry while there -- time will tell what unfolds as a result of that connection
flight back to our 'playground' tomorrow ......... if i'm lucky i'll get back in time for the late afternoon conclusion to our hamlet's "Sister Bay" days..... big festival -- they already had the Viking ship out on the town lawn, before I flew out...... the night concludes with an incredible show of fireworks. Wish Lisa was there to capture some pictures...... fireworks over the water, pretty spectacular.
sleep well, dream deeply, more from the airport tomorrow -- if i can find an outlet.

HI beachie kids! I've actually been away from the puter for 24 hours!!!!! LOL
I DO plan to take some new pix celia==life without art of SOME kind would not be worth the air I breathe! Those driftwood sculptures are amazing! BTW-I had a chat friend who created art similar to those paper-looking pix on her computer-- I can't remember what she called it, but I know it took her hours & hours & ppl paid big $ for her finished works!Foots--it is virtual, hon---you can have ANYTHING you want on THIS beach--order to your heart's content! I'll even find that cute cabana boy, Raul to serve ya!
Faith--hugs & love! I HATE this time of year! That's cuz I am NOT going back to school with everyone else, but being left behind......I will find things to fill my time (but still sad to see summer end)
Sahalie & Jas-----any possibility that you may post some pix of your artistic work? I LOVE to look at others stuff--always makes me feel like they are giving me lessons & goosing my creativity.
Julz---whenever you sing--you make them believe you did it that way for a reason! LOLOL The fun thing about Karaoke is that MOST of the time everyone is just there for fun & NOT to compete! I bet it would be a scream if we could all sing together...
Did I tell you all that dd wanted & now HAS a beach-cottage bedroom?? I think of this place everytime I go in her room.......she seems delighted with her choices (& rolls her eyes at my suggestions!! Spar, Harley PMd me. I've been off tamox for a year but am on aromasin so I assume aromasin does the same thing as tamox. I do have to have the endo biopsy and am not looking forward to it at all. I bypassed the wine last night (too hot, 100+ yesterday) and instead had a pomagranite martini with a huge pomegranate ice cube.

Happy Weekend!! Beach bunnies. Glad to see so many frolicking at the shore together..... there's plenty of lounge chairs, beach towels and cabana boys to go around.
I'm at the airport, thru security and awaiting a plane..... never quite know how good the connection here will be??? Just wanted everyone to know I'm sending you sunshine and smiles for the long weekend. Looking forward to tonight's fireworks that will conclude the big festival day. I hope I get home in time to see the art booths and all the other 'fun stuff' of a small town event.

Hey, I pm'd you again. Now I just read your post here, and it doesn't sound very encouraging. You say you switched to an AI a year ago, and these d*mn things are back?? I just had them cleaned out, and I have been feeling better, up til now. I am feeling bloated, and I feel like I have to urinate all the time...this just started last night!
Oh, now it looks like I will have more questions for my drs.!
