Back for a quickie!  Forgot to mention.............all of you Fosamax girls out there.........did you know that it is now available in generic form in the U.S?!?!

    Jas:  Yahoo.................glad you're getting re-connected!

Jan:  Does sound like fun................DH and I have got to come up with something entertaining to do.Hoping PT is done....find out Wed.

Susan:  Yep.........got the goods coming!  My SIL was on the Visa Diet before me and a girl she works with found a site on line that sells the same stuff. Maybe not much cheaper, but I don't have to go weigh in 3 times a week and it's delivered to my house. (or will be...just ordered last night). Got the website if you want it.................you aren't taking diet pills are you?  I did take a 'super plus' capsule on the official diet....guess it was like a 'filler'.........but not a prescription....I'm scared of actual diet pills that you see in the store and stuff...................that makes sense.........so I'll order them online instead!  I know the food supplements and 'plus' pill from the Visa Diet.............so begone you pesky pounds!!

Iris:  I was looking forward to your post today..............where are you???? Or did I miss it?!

Bringing the cabana boy along to play some soft dinner music to go with the lovely atmosphere Sahalie provided for dinner...and of course to keep the drinks flowing!

Neesie: Okay but don't forget .. I don't recall the "itchy man" story and want to know it! I thought you all were kidding about the Visa diet ... seriously, I thought you went shopping with your Visa card instead of eating whenever you got hungy. I never heard of the Visa diet until now!

Susan: I'm glad your co-worker will be coming back so you can hopefully spend more time with us! Miss you. Okay, you came up with the Visa diet? I'm Really confused! Somebody needs to explain it to me!

Jasmine: Hurray! Dell is Great! Isn't that the truth about the add-ons! lol Be careful hauling that dino to the garage!

Sahalie: Wow, good to see you! I've missed you girl! Oh, I'm just in time for dinner at the lovely beach locale you provided!

Neesie: I'm not on Fosamax .. yet. But I'll remember that, or try to, when the time comes!

Happy day, beach peeps. These pictures you are sharing just keep getting better and better. I'm so grateful to everyone's quality-of-vision for our beach together..... only the best.

Was able to get into a clinic in a nearby grocery store. Funny: sitting there between the frozen foods and the canned goods, waiting to be seen by a super-nurse. She's decided I have some sort of foot-crud and then apparently have had an allergic reaction to my self treatment.

She was able to write me a scrip for an antibiotic. What a circus! Guess I'll be hopping on our beach.

It's official. We had 20 inches of snow in under 24 hours. A record for sure for this area. The most snow in one dump since 1915, some argue longer. It will last me for another  85 years -- that's sure.

I called my library and they say that my "show must go on!" Hopefully the roads will be passable, between here and there.

Sahalie: that was the most gorgous pic for our dinner rendez-vous.

    Jan: What a gorgous sunset.

Thank you each for posting. So up-lifting.

Jaz: great that you're reconnected to us..... what would we do without your song?

Char: sounds like the girls are doing ok?

Amy: glad to hear the shingles are mostly a memory. Glad to hear that you've emerged victorious from chemo.

Iris: we need your word for the day!

Nessie: You can be our sit-down comedianne.... don't want you to be a hazard to yourself!

    Margo: keep moving.

Be specific about this Visa diet explaination.

Sipping on my sleepy time tea, in bed with my lap top on the beach.

Does it get any better than this? lol

Barb, we all have long stories don't we? Faith is right, we can probably write a good book.

Margo,I'm gonna have to try that potato soup. Sounds great on a cold night.

Charlene, hoping your darlings are feeling better.

Jas, thanks for the Bee Gee's song. You will so enjoy your lap top.

Faith, how's the snow removal going? One stop shopping with a clinic, I have heard of those but we don't have any here.

So what did you do to your foot?

Amy,what do u do with the chickens?Do you sell them, eat them, get eggs from them? Or all of those?

    Charlene, congrats on 1 year!!!

Jan,basement bowling sounds like fun. Oh what a beautiful sunset.

    Sahalie,dinner at the beach...how lovely.

I have to learn to not eat chocolate. It gets my acid reflux going. I do it to myself!

Funeral went well today. A very nice ceremony. DH is going to the Price is Right tomorrow. He's getting on line at 1:00 am. He has a ticket to get thru the gate but no guarantee he will get in. I sure hope he does, he has always wanted to do that. He was practicing before he went to CA. So funny, he was checking average prices on furniture and appliances and the like.

ok, I am gonna try to get to sleep at a decent time tonight. I want to get to my 7am water class. Have a good night's sleep friends.
See you on the beach tomorrow. Jas, will be checking for our song for the day.

    Hugs and prayers,

    Happy Early Tuesday!

Hope that you all had a good Mon! If this pic has been posted, please forgive me,I was trying to remember and not sure. Anyway,it looked inviting and was moving! LOL It looks more like a lagoon-nice colors, anyway.

Candie-so glad that the service was nice for your dh's cousin,Bob. How very sad to be so young and lose a parent;sorry abt his daughter's wedding anniversary as that must be hard. Thanks for noticing our dates of joining bco;I had "lurked"for several months. I just not been comfortable to join until one night-took the plunge and glad I did. You are so good to get up and exercise so early. Thanks abt my mother,I appreciate the kindness.Let us know abt dh and The Price Is Right-cool! Hope he gets on;how exciting!

Faithandfifty-thanks for noticing my pics. I don't think I found any others;will check Photobucket. Sorry abt your foot and hope it is not anything too serious. I like that word "haywire" as I say that one abt my brain real often! LOL My mother is going to be fine as they glued her chin with Dermabond. Believe it or not,a former student's father helped on the invention/marketing of that here in the Raleigh area(1998). They sold it to Johnson&Johnson eventually. So,how abt that word:cyanoacrylate which is a fancy-looking skin super glue! I asked for free samples back then-nada. I buy those kits at the groc store all-the-time. Prob TMI-right,with me,as I said, very chatty!

Neesie-great to see you and you are so funny! I love that abt the falling down funny because that is so me! Last wk,I tripped on the last step at my parents' house and went airborne! So,hey, maybe the falling is genetic in my family? You think maybe if I turned-on a light and went down the steps that might help? Ms.Uncoordination-that would be me! Always great to see you and glad the PT is helping the knee. I think Susan is right calling it Physical Torture-or something like that. I live in NC and that is where you and Susan are coming when you visit me real soon,I hope!

Angelcharlene-loved all the scenes that you posted. The one with the clouds that looks diff ea time you look at it-like there are faces w/in the clouds, that is awesome! The sunset is soothing and I think I could stroll there. Hope that the girls are fine and Audrey can return to schl tomorr. Thanks for all your kindness last week and always;you are awesome and so appreciated!

Sahalie-that cabana picture is neat! I can picture myself seated underneath the tent and sipping a nice, tropical beverage. What a beautiful view you shared!

Ames-I bet those little chicks are so downy and soft. I rememb getting new chicks there in AL in the chicken house. They had their own house. Glad that you are feeling better today and that you rested during the weekend. I missed you posting and am always glad to see you. Dorothy was right-there is no place like your own home!

Jaz-cool Bee Gees video and that is the only video I have on my iPod. It is amazing to see how much hair Maurice had! WOW! Think that you will enjoy the wireless,I sure do. Nice to go from room-to-room and no cords.

Barb-always glad to see your posts and thought of you during the weekend. This is the fourth group that I have been fortunate to belong to and post long posts. Sometimes,I go back a day and write from my last post or on my tutti frutti computi,I write shorter ones. What I like is the format that angel began as the support is here for everyone and that is the most imp thing, for me. I am way too wordy, just glad to have you.

Jan-guess those chickens were doing the old why did the chix cross the road joke- like to get to the other side. Rememb how folks thought they were so comical yrs ago and now we say:huh? You and I are on the same wavelength as that is the pic I saved tonight in Photobucket! It is such an absolutely awesome sunset!

Susan-glad to see you always. Hope that the job will be part-time or full-time if you prefer. Always good to see you! Your creativity and talent is apparent in all you do. I bet you have neat things that you have made on the computer plus all the t-shirts for Pinkstock and everything else.

Margo-hope that your Monday went well and the exercise is not too hard. I do thank you,as always, for doing it for me! My docs thank you,as well! OLO Who is going to win American Idol you think?

Well,I am hoping that I have not skipped anyone. If I did,it was not intentional. Today,I am celebrating a little over two yrs from rads as the dr said. So,that one is done for another six months. After I hopped on those scales and they did not tilt,I promptly left that office and got me a wonderful meal!!! Yippee! I always wait until I finish at that place and then, eat out! Just like a kid! Laughing

    See you on the beach,buddies!

Good morning Beach Beauties!  Audrey is okay, still congested but her head pain is gone.  She complains so rarely that when she did I figure it best to keep her home from school.  She went back today.  Ava is doing better also .. still has cold symptoms but you know young kids ... their colds last forever!  Her spirits are up though.

Going to take a walk on the beach this morning and let nature soothe my soul for a bit.

Janny, wow that sunset is a winner!  Absolutely gorgeous!!

Faith, a clinic in the grocery store, what will they think of next?!  Glad you got an antibiotic and hope your foot is on the mend.  Yikes, 20 inches of snow?!  I must say PA lucked out this winter .. that is if you don't like a lot of snow!

Candie:  My ex SIL was on Price Is Right about 5 years or so ago.  She won all kinds of cool prizes.  I hope DH gets in!

Iris:  I'm happy to hear your mom is going to be okay.  Wow, amazing how they glued her chin And that a former student of yours father helped getting the product to the world!  Congrats on your rads onc appt!  I scrolled down and just saw your little surfer pic .. Awesome!

    Hello all,

Candie, We just raise the chickens for the eggs.  I am a major animal lover so of course they are pets.  They have their own house to go to as soon as it is warm enough and they have all of their feathers.

Faith-a clinic at the grocery store is actually not a bad idea I suppose.  One stop shopping.

jan-nice picture-Wouldnt mind relaxing on that beach with a nice drink.

iris-hello to you.  My grandparents had chicken houses and raised chickens but we just raise them for the eggs.  I do remember growing up that chicken houses were alot of work.  That must be you surfing in that picture,,right?  lol

Angel-glad to hear the girls are feeling much better and that Audrey got to go back to school.

Denise-glad you came back for a quickie,,lol.  You have such a way with words you always make me laugh.

Jaz-hope you got the wireless all connected.  You will love it.

Sahalie-thanks for the dinner invite last night.  It was wonderful!

margo-Hello to you.  Hope you are relaxing sometime between all of your running around.

    Ok here are the boys...

    Hi Guys,

Got room on the Beach for a whiney, crying fool?  I posted elsewhere, but you all might as well hear it too!

Remember my comment yesterday about being able to trip over a piece of hair????

3 weeks healing the knee ligament thingy...........lateral bicep femura something..........WTH!  Anyhow, 1st client today............details skipped.....I fell on a piece of ice in apt parking lot and landed on the same knee.

Found out that Workers Comp is disputing my claim from first injury for a totally stupid reason.

Supposed to go to WC doctor tomorrow..........thought to be released.....like that's going to happen now.

Came home and discovered my bottom front crown is about to fall off........thinking I must have smacked my mouth with my clipboard when I bit the dust..........................................

I know, I know........................I need to serve cheese with my whine!

Sorry if I don't know how Workers Comp works...................I've never used it before and wouldn't have this time if the Company didn't insist.

Okay................................I'll be back when I can add cheer and be my loveable self!

    Hugs,

    Neesie

    Hello, beach buddies !!!

Neesie, sorry to hear about your BAD day, if you're not careful, we'll have to start calling you Grace !!!! Don't be embarrassed, I fell on my face a year ago, and almost lost my front teeth. A little dental surgery, and wore a brace for six weeks ---You can call me Grace too !!!!! I ended up losing about 20 lbs, because I couldn't eat for about six weeks--guess it wasn't all bad, and thank God, I didn't loose my teeth.

Charlene, sorry to hear your girls weren't feeling well--hope they're feeling better. I have a cold now too. It seems like everyone is sick with colds or flu.

Those goats are so cute. I love the one with the white markings.

    HUGS to ALL

    Hope everyone has a good

Beach bunnies: my grocery-store doctoring must be helpful, cuz my foot's headed in the right direction. I hardly had to hop at all.

We had about 120 people at the library concert I gave tonight..... a super turn out for this teeny tiny town!! So much fun. Had kids from tots to teens..... and everything in betweens.

Iris: I can't believe there's faceglue! What a hoot. Why didn't we invent that?

Char: glad to hear the girls are headed in the right direction.

Nessie: so sorry to hear that you've taken another tumble, when you were just barely straightened out. If it's not one thing, it's something else, isn't it! That's how I feel about my goofball foot nonsense now.

Amy: I completely agree -- the cutest picture ever. I think you should enter that in a contest somewhere.

Candie: you did an awesome job of including everyone! Good for you!! You sounded really upbeat. Isn't it amazing how our emotions can go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth!! LOL.

Barb: We have to be careful in these tumbles we take. Yours sounds particularly challenging. Glad you were able to keep your teeth!

Jaz: hurry back, when you figure out your new machine. We're waiting patiently!!

Susan: hope you're able to get your part time position, if that's what you prefer. Life is a balancing act, isn't it?

Margo: What are we learning from our personal coach this week? Please share.

This morning we watched my DVD with my not quite 2 year old grandson. He started singing a little bit to one of the songs and made my day!!

    Love to all

    Hi,

Neesie,so sorry about your fall. Be careful, hope you are not hurting too much. Pardon me if I don't address everyone tonight. I am tired.

DH called and he did get in to the Price is Right. He called me while waiting on line. He was #26. His seat was in the 2nd row in the center but he didn't get picked. Oh, he was so upset!!! He is known to surprise me alot and I was thinking maybe he did get picked and he won a car, a vacation ofr a showcase. Maybe he will come home with a surprise. I did say that to him and he said...nope,nothing.

Well, he flys home tomorrow. It will be so good to see him.

    Have a good night,my friends.

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

This picture intrigued me because of the surreal magical quality. I am imagining that beach and the magical kingdom in the background. Sounds good,to me anyone want to go take a stroll? LOL

    Happy Wed--almost,Beach Buddies,

Neesie-oh,man,I am so sorry abt your falling on ice. That had to have hurt and esp the knee. That sounds like me,are you sure we are not related? Hope that the crown can be glued back on. Done that many times and are you sure you don't want to go ahead and get that family in the moving van headed for warmer weather? You don't want to hear our temps today and I will refrain from mentioning it as it is HOT in summer here. I keep saying that as we have to run the a/c bigtime. That makes you feel better, right?

Candie-glad abt the dr's off and the Arimidex. I am so sorry that dh was not chosen after standing in line at the crack of midnight. That is too bad! I can't wait to hear the types of shells that he brings. Have a good visit!

Barb-hope that you had a good Tues and great to see you here. Having twins at did you say,twenty-two yo,would be interesting. I bet you have a few stories of when they were teenagers. I think you said both were boys, right? Hope your weather is looking-up there.

Amy-those goats are so cute! I know you described the markings, but could you tell that, again, as to the type they are? I am amazed at how fast they have grown. They look just like they are walking up steps to go into the house just like a "real"kid! LOL Thanks for the beautiful photo! Yep,that is me surfing! Kidding...I would have to be buckled on with a big rope, seat belt and glue to keep me on!

angel-love that beautiful pic! It looks just like we should be walking outside and seeing that lovely beach scene. Hope that Tues was a good day and glad Audrey and Ava are both feeling much better. You must have some awesome pictures of the two of them as those are the memories that we cherish! Too cool video of Blake Shelton! i needed that and laughed right outloud--thanks! His day reminds me of some I have had! LOL

faithandfifty-that is cool abt the nurse at some of the stores. We have those in some of the larger drugstores here. I am glad that your foot is healing so quickly. That is awesome abt such a large turn-out at your presentation and know it made you feel so good. Hope the large sun blowdryer is drying that white/muddy snow away! You are right abt inventing some neat stuff! I use that glue all-the-time esp on minor cuts. You just never know,do you?

Susan-hey to you and hope that work goes well! Miss seeing you and hope that your week is good!

Janny-hope that your Tues was a good one as I think this is the day that you work longer hrs. Thinking of you! I do love that sunset from yesterday as those are the neatest colors-esp the orange shades.

Hope that I did not miss anyone...best to each of you Beach Buddies!

...taking a contemplative stroll along hard-packed sand as the gentle waves roll in, breathing deeply of the fresh salty air, and reading, catching up, and enjoying the lovely pictures that are posted...

...and, a question comes to mind--outside of cyberland, in the real world--where are your most favorite beach places to be?  (I made the question plural because after thinking long and hard I couldn't decide on one place--they are all so special...)    Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and Nice, France, head my list...but anywhere there is sand, sun, water, I'm happy.   There is even a place on our lake where we can beach our boat and I can walk on what feels like sand beneath my feet.   I don't get the salty breeze, and can only stroll for a short time because it is spring-fed water and damn cold!   But, I love it!!!

big huggggsssss to my sand sisters...will look for beautiful pics tomorrow!

Good morning Beach Ladies! Happy Wednesday.

Well, I just about have this new pc up to speed.  Yesterday I spent most of the day getting all the software and drivers up to date.  I think I'm finally back to normal.  I managed to save my documents folder to disc just before the old one finally gave out but forgot to include the internet explorer favorites folder so I'm trying to add those back from memory.  Most of the favs were just 'oh that's kind of cool, I may want to see this page again' kind of thing so its no big loss.

Amy -- those baby goats are just adorable.  I always love when you share pics.

Neesie -- gentle hugs to you.  I hate that you are having such a hard time.  Hang in there.  Spring is just around the corner  and it will get better.  I hope you didn't mess up your leg again and that your tooth is easily fixed.

Angel -- of course I don't mind you sharing some songs.  I love to see what songs other people like.  I don't have a monopoly on the song sharing.  I hope your girls are getting over their colds and feeling better.

Okay, I know I missed some right now...but the good news is that once the coffee is on....I'll be back to read back a few pages and get caught up.

jaz, glad you got all that work done on the pc.  it's a lot.  you are good at picking out songs.  i hope you keep doing it.

Junie, my favorite beach is Santa Barbara.  I lived there.

Iris, I will be happy to join you on a trip to the magical kingdom.  just my kinda thing.

Candi the visa diet is an expensive diet that you pay for with visa and rush to get the mail first everyday so your husband doesn't see the visa bill.  LOL  Denise went on it last year and lost a lot of weight running back and forth to the mailbox.  Probably not so much this year as it sounds like she is having trouble walking.

hugs denise,  love ya, just don't want to be ya.  You know I'm only joking, right.  I'll give you a jingle later.

Angel glad the girls are doing better.  what's this about gluing Iris'

    mom's chin??

gotta run, yes, I'm taking friday off.  woohoo

((((Neesie)))) That Sucks.  This thread isn't called Life's A Beach just for the pleasurable side .. Life's A Bitch and it just helps having the ocean nearby when we need to let it all out.  Things have Got to start looking up for you. btw, I Hate ice!! Keep us posted and know you're in my thoughts. Big hugs and good luck with your crown.

Faith, Wow, what a turn out for your library concert!  How awesome about your 2 year old grand singing!  My 2 year old daughter Loves to sing and dance .. have you ever heard of the "Blue Moos" that comes with a CD?  She totally enjoys it.  She also loves her older sister's Hanna Montana songs and sings along to those lol

Barb, well that is Not the way to lose weight  lol

Candie, Yea on getting some Arimidex, that's a start!  Happy to hear DH is coming home.  I can tell you are too!

Iris, That Is an intriguing image you posted.  I want to just sit on one of those rocks and stare at the magical kingdom.  I'm glad you liked the video!  Good for a needed laugh!

Junie, I was on a cruise eons ago and one of the stops was Playa Del Carmen .. lovely but didn't stay long enough.  Cozumel was another one that we stopped at that was very nice.  Went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for my dream vacation .. absolutely gorgeous the first day ... then we got nailed by hurricane Jeanne.  It became beautiful again the day we had to go home.  sigh .. I need a do over.  But stateside I'd have to say the Outer Banks is my favorite.  You sound like you live in a lovely locale along the lake.  There's something about water that is just magical .. If I can't live on the ocean I'd love to live on a lake.

Jasmine, I need to clean out my faves list myself, you did it the hard way  lol  So glad you're getting up to speed and you didn't lose your docs folder!  We need your Song Of The Day!  You have a knack for it and always pick just the right ones!  (I just fill in when you're offline, k?)

Susan, Ummm, I'll let Iris explain that to you!  They used Dermabond to somehow glue her chin after she fell!

Well, I finally got help with my arimidex!!! I must've called and at least 15 places so far. this morning I was in touch with Chronic Disease Fund. It is for people who have insurance but still can't afford the meds. The woman I spoke to was soo nice. I started crying when she said I was elligible. they do all the work--contacting my ins.co. and all. I will only have to pay a $10.00 co-pay each month and it will come through the mail. A presription mail order co. will call me in 7 days to set everything up. They will get in touch with my onc for a prescription. I feel like it is too good to be true and I will have the arimidex by the time I need it in 14 days.

Amy,baby goats are so darn cute!!

Susan, LOL on the Visa diet. I shared w/some of my co-workers and what a chuckle we got.

Junie, my favorite beach so far has been Riviera de Maya in Mexico. But the Jersey shore has plenty of beaches to choose from and I settle for them every summer.

Have a great afternon, beach buds.

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

Candie -- that is so awesome!!!!!  Its about time someone did something for those who are caught in between.  I think this calls for a marguerita party tonight!

Candie, that is wonderful news!!!!  I knew there was someone out there who could help you!!!!!

Neesie, I can't believe you bit the dust again!!  You can come and whine here any old time.  I always keep a little extra cheese around, lol!

Everyone is posting such great pictures.

Iris, where are you finding the ones that are animated?  They are really cool.

Amy,, those baby goats are too, too cute!  I love them.  If we had chickens, they would all be my pets too.

Gotta go for now!  Hello to everyone I missed.  It wasn't on purpose, I promise.  Enjoy the lovely sound of surf.

I'm not very good about addressing each person even though I think of you and wish each of you every good thing. . .

    but *

    I do have connections. . .

Look what I got for us this evening!

This is for everyone and especially our ladies who are in pain and or in need of gentle care.

    Enjoy!

After our massage * waiting for our refreshment will be . . .

Our beach lounges will be waiting for us with freshly

laundered soft towels to relax on before our late evening swim.
