Sahalie, ahhh a massage on the beach and some luscious fruit...what a great day on the beach.
Just came in from my last catechist class. Hopefully I will be certified soon. DH landed back in NJ safely. Can't wait to see him tomorrow and see what he brought me...lol.
Gotta get ready for sleep. 7 am aquacise class is a tough getting up for but I want to keep it up. Thanks for all your support. You all kept the fire under my a** to keep researching. Love you all!

The large pic above is Hawaii and I would LOVE to go there! This one is Bermuda where I have been and the water was wonderful!
Junie-I like these beach scenes and do love the coastal beaches here,too. Thanks for asking-brought some great memories! Sometimes,I post a general message to everyone,too. It is great to see you and post what is comfortable-old teacher in me won't stop organizing everyone! Sorry! LOL That is the beauty of this thread-whatever works for the day or the time. T There are some days that I write and write as I find this thread so beautiful and therapeutic. Also,I am just really long-winded! LOL

Candie-terrific on the Arimidex and great that you are so resourceful. I am so happy that you found the group. I know you felt like shouting and really made the day brighter! angel-hope that your day was good and what another beautiful pic! It is like those angels are etched in the clouds-neat! I know you cherish all of the pics that are in your albums as you have some terrific ones! Sad abt your trip to the Dominican Rep and the hurricane! That would really make for a crummy time with the beautiful beaches and scenery. I guess you never know because last yr-we had hardly any coastal hurricanes and some yrs-crazy fall storms!
Margo-thinking of you and that early morning exercise class! You are so smart to get up so early and work-out! Way to go!
Jaz-hope the Dell is working great as it is the kind I would get when this one dies. I hear good things abt Dell.
Susan-how are you doing and it is great to see you today! Thanks for asking abt my mother's fall. She cut her chin and at the emerg rm the dr used this Dermabond to glue it back. I taught a kid(a million yrs ago)whose father was involved in that company that sold the patent to Johnson&Johnson.Why can't we invent some cool something and rake in the megabucks? Hmmm-what could we invent???

Oh the massage is just what I needed tonight, along with the late night swim, wonderful fruit and delicious cookies! It doesn't get much better than this! Going to sleep and dream of sailing on the salty sea under a big moonlight. Goodnight my friends.

Angel-thinking of you as this lighthouse at Cape Hatteras reminds me of the Outer Banks. Additionally,I think it shows that we have towers of strength reserved within ourselves helping to keep us on a steady course. It is like the lighthouses did for untold numbers of sailors through time.
Thanks for this thread so when I feel my feet falter and stumble,i come to a familiar sight and site. Thinking of you tomorrow and just like the lighthouse,you have such strength and courage within you and I am proud to know you! You have such great friends and support here.
Best to everyone...it is early on the beach and the sun will be coming up in a few hours. What a quiet time for good reflections and cherished remembrances.

I didn't make it to my 7am class as my DH and I talkied on the phone to 1:30 am and now I am a zombie this morning. gotta get ready for work. Need to hop in bed early tonight. I hate when I go through the day tired. Have a great day!!

Thanks for that gorgeous shot of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse Iris! I visited that and stayed just a short way down the beach from there. I could see the lighthouse from my balcony! It was so nice there.

Yes, I am a natural born clutz! Bothered me terribly in my younger years...with 2 ballerina sisters and me, the baby and clutz, trying to tip toe around in those ridiculous tutu's and shoes that bend your feet backwards while you're balancing and kicking on your toes................!! Now, I'm proud of it!!!!!!!!!! Whoever said they were going to call me 'Grace'.......I love it...................I love the term...."How was your trip, Grace?!"
So, I'm not broken. Went back to the WC doctor yesterday for a re-check on initial injury and presented with my 'new' incident report..........good times..........they couldn't figure out if I should be a new patient or re-injured or whatever..................anyhow, several xrays later, nothing looked broken and I was "released" from care!! WooHoo!
To Funny.........I took some pics of Itchy Man with my cell phone........a no no.......but needed documentation of a few things. Decided that my supervisor wasn't taking my concerns to seriously.......so today I said that I had a few pics to share with her.........She most seriously started scratching her legs and head............it was so dang funny............guess she will listen to me a little closer from now on!!
First client today......door was locked and I couldn't get any response. Pounded, rang doorbell, called her number.....................after 15 minutes of this I called her DD at work (they live together)..........long story short...40 minutes passes, I'm thinking that I'm going to walk into a not pretty scene...........DD comes home and we go in..........upstairs..........she was okay..........she thought it was earlier than it was cuz she didn't set her clock forward Sunday!!!!!!!!! I don't know how she would have set it, cuz she can't even see it..............
This is the ladies house that I originally hurt myself at...............very nice person..............I asked her later if that was her way of paying me back for being off for 3 weeks!
Like you all needed to hear that!
So..........the beach.........loving the pics Iris............would be loving the real deal even better! I've told Susan before that I think it would be a riot to rent a houseboat this summer!!!!!!!!! I've never done it, but know people that have..in fact I think Susan has....(Susan??)
Hoping all the clutz's are staying upright and hoping all the wee ones with the crud are feeling better!
MOM tomorrow............Going with DD, SIL and Grands to Tap Maple Trees for syrup on Saturday!! Haven't done that since I was in Girl Scouts!

Neesie -- wow, that is quite a day and an adventure. I always love reading your posts. They are so entertaining. I'll never forget the snake pic and the dryer repair pic.
Iris -- I just briefly scanned the last few pages. Did I read right that your mother fell recently? I hope she is okay. That can be scary when older people take a tumble. I know the older I get the more falling hurts.
Angel -- how are your girls? I'm sorry I've been awol. I've been trying to go into the office a couple days a week now that I have a cube that is convenient to get too.
Amy -- I love the animal pictures. Please keep them coming.
Candie -- you are right. I should be able to post the song now that I don't have to drive as far. I'll start back tomorrow -- promise. I guess its kind of a psychological thing. My brain seems to tell me that I can sleep later now that I don't have to drive as far and I ended up sleeping late. Plus, I think I got thrown off by the time change.

Candie-know all abt not sleeping as many hrs and the tiredness the following day. It sounds like it was a good trip for your dh and I know he had a great time. Hayley Mills was one of my all-time fave movie stars. Her family was such a talented one!

neesie-glad that there were no additional torn ligaments,cartilage or that stuff. Not saying it was good,just glad no more PT. I know all abt the grace stuff or ungraceful in my case. I think it is because we are so brilliant that our minds are on the higher-level thinking things. How abt that? My friend calls it testing gravity,of course,breaking his arm on his last business trip to Sweden,might change his mind! LOL Have fun w/the maple sugaring stuff. Your granddaug is so smart,she will be describing it in scientific stuff like her descrip of the bees pollinating! She is a cutie and her brother,too!

Hey, I just wanted to pop in and share something I thought was really good. I've been wanting to get the Office program on my personal pc to use at home but just couldn't justify paying $300 -$400 for the software. One of my co-workers just introduced me to an open source (FREE) version called OpenOffice.org. I just downloaded and installed it and it looks exactly like Microsoft Office with all the same bells and whistles. And it will open and save files in the microsoft formats as well as export a word document to PDF format. AND ITS FREE! Very nice.

oh cool. what version of office is it. I have 2000 and have been wanting to upgrade. If someone creates a doc file with 2007 you can not read it in 2000 or 2003 unless you download a converter from microsoft. I HATE MICROSOFT.
Well, even if it won't read 2007 files, it's still a good deal. thanks for sharing.

Susan -- you can go to www.openoffice.org and it should tell you what it will read or not. I have some excel files created in office 97 that it opened and read just fine. And they were passworded files too.0
