Jaz, good for you for joining the class today.  Step is a lot of fun, especially with a good teacher.  I'm just about ready to roll out of bed and go do the elliptical today.  Classes this morning don't start until 8 and I have too many things to do today.  I like getting the exercise out of the way so I can enjoy the rest of my day.

    Good Morning Beach Beauties!

Just got back from Audrey's soccer game and find that comcast is having a problem so I have no email and I'm having trouble with some web sites including photobucket so no beach pictures :(

I haven't read anything yet so will go do that now and be back!

Faith that was wonderful to hear you describe your experience.  I set up a seminar once at work and invited the Microsoft Sales rep to come and talk about Microsoft Word.  This was many years ago.  Our company had just announced they were joining the MS bandwagon.  We had so many people there.  I was not the star but I certainly felt like I had organized a very important event.  What fun!  Good for you.

    Angel, get your computer fixed.

Jaz and Margo.  That's great you girls are exercising diligently.  I hope to do more of that soon.  Thanks for the inpiration.

Eureka Springs is a victorian town, I guess, in the northern part of Arkansas.  Hot springs, massage, spas, cute stores, a glass chapel in the hills.  Very pretty.

Susan, yes,  Eureka Springs is a very beautiful and quaint town in northern Arkansas.  I haven't been there in years.  They have a ton of lovely craft shops and the Passion Play in the summer.

Try a step class.  I was pleasantly surprised that I'm a little more coordinated than I expected.  I didn't get all the steps down but I have the basic ones.

Jaz, I decided I was going to try a hip hop exercise, fortunately, it was in the privacy of my own bedroom - it lasted about 4 minutes and I sure am glad no one was around to see it!

LOL Margaret on the hip hop in the privacy of your own bedroom.

It must be spring and I'm getting big time exercise cleaning bedrooms and closets.

I mean bag loads for the goodwill and bag loads for the dump.

I am proud of myself but also had to take three advil for my back.

I'm taking a break for a few minutes.

Can't have a dirty overstuffed with junk beach hut you know.

    Our weather today beautiful.

I hope and pray our beach loverlies in the southern states are safe.

Back to the massive clean out.

I can't wait to get rid of all the "long overdue to be thrown out junk."

Then it's off to the beach I go for swim and hope to meet up with all of you.

Someone asked me if I was a group something on a cruise ship.

    No.

I have never even been on a cruise.

I am scared I'll get the dreaded "montezuma's revenge" everyone seems to get on cruises.

Okay, It's five o'clock somewhere and it's Saturday!

    See you on the beach!

You can't see me but I'm right there under the palm trees.

    Faith, Congrats all around.

I just read back.  How exciting!

    Iris, the hammock was magical.

It was right outside our bungalow door just steps to the aqua clear waters on Bora Bora.

I love the grass there.  It's called buffalo grass and kind of looks like closely mowed Bermuda grass.

I would have it here if I can find it somewhere.

The adorable Polynesian boys mow it every other day.

It is cut so short it's so easy to see the smallest hermit crabs on their treks.

    We are going back.

Good evening Beach Ladies.  Just popping in to see how everyones day has been.

Margaret -- yes, step can be intense.  I was really surprised at how fast it can increase the heart rate.  Even faster than walking on the treadmill and I was using the little step.  I have to stop for several breaks but I'm hoping I will build up endurance each class.

Sahalie -- I am also working to de-clutter my beach hut.  I'm doing it in small step though.  I just cleaned out my blue jean drawer and discovered that I had 10 pair of blue jeans all the same size.  Now who really needs that many pairs of jeans all the same size and style too.  I'm not that messy.  I think its like the straightener thing in that I forget what I already have.   I gotten rid of a ton of books now too.  Who needs books collecting dust when you can find so much online now and its more up to date as well.

Angel -- I had cable/internet issues as well yesterday and last night but I figured it was due to our storms.  Maybe no though...it could have been some kind of regional issue perhaps.

Faith -- I'm not sure I saw a post from you today.  If not, I hope you had a wonderful day and it was joyous.

Susan -- I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to Eureka this month.  Looks like I'm on call that week.  I tried to switch but my team mate already had his plans set and he has kids that he does things with so I really don't want to make him cancel.

Iris -- I've just noticed that I hard ever address you in posts.  Please accept my apologies.  it was never intentional.  You add so much warmth to the Beach thread.

Wings, Divine, Candie -- hello to you and I hope your weekend is going great so far.

Gentle hugs to all from A to Z.

    Hello Beach Buddies,

Hope everyone had a good Saturday. It has been very rainy here at the NC Coast. Nice day to just watch television or do inside work.

Angel-hope Audrey had a good soccer practice. That is early on a Saturday. Great that she has such a neat support system. I always credit all athletes and scholars as well as their parents/families.Blustery weather today with dreary skies here today. We know that beach sunshine will return-needed the rain. One thing abt the beach,we find the neatest treasures often when we are not searching. Thanks for the support and loyalty to friends. Today's foul weather brought me to a better cyber beach environment for fair skies and fun.

Jasmine-what a kind thing to say. I really appreciate that as the aft was so dreary I took a nap. You hv bn so productive and cleaning is cathartic-JMO. After my burglary,a yr ago,I cleaned closets and sorted things. It felt so good as I had duplicated things I liked. Guess we all must do that? Sometimes,I am glad because brands get discontinued so fast in some styles. Great on the step class!

Sahalie-great to see you and how proud you must feel with all that sorting and cleaning. Isn't it amazing how much we,all, keep in the "one of these days" groups of things? Your descripts and pics are lovely. I know a hammock on a tropical island would be so neat. Just can feel the breezes blowing thinking abt it.

Divine-hope your weekend goes well. I am wondering if you are having as much rain there as we are? I will not complain-just hard when it comes all in one week. Hope you had a great vis with your friends.

Margo-great abt your group and congrats on all your hard work. You hv really worked hard and I know the evening will be wonderful. You will hv to tell us all abt it. The Bon Jovi concert and wonderful meal sounded awesome! I know that must have been so much fun! It is great to go eat-out in such a beautiful setting. It is like the food just seems more exquisite. Thanks abt the USB cables as I said same thing,to myself. The ph batt is abt a yr old. Who knows with my tutti-frutti teleph? LOL Hv a good evening!

Faithandfifty-congrats on the av equip and all working like it should. Yahoo! I think it is awesome that you hd SRO and needed extra chairs. That is the best feeling and at de conferences it was the best speakers whose presentations had the huge crowds. So-twelve yrs and lots of wonderful presentations, I am certainly celebrating! Hope your Sat was good. Can't wait to hear abt the other fun events! Thanks for sharing! It is so exciting to 'know' a real author/artist. All the best!

Susan-hi to you! Hope that your weekend is good. Thanks for all the good things you do/have done. I hv not forgotten all the work for the Pinkstock items. You hv really done so much to support others. Your creativity is obvious in all the shirts and neat items.

I am trying not to watch the UNC game as it is not going that well for us. I hope the second half is less cloudy and stormy for beach and the basketball team.

All the best to all of you Beach Buddies! We get one shot at happiness whether on a real beach or cyber. I love that abt life not being a dress rehearsal-live it each day. Thanks for accompanying me on a beach/coastal walk. See you in the morning! Sleep well!

    Morning girls,

Sahalie, I'm getting big time exercise getting rid of the paper clutter - I have to find my son's hs diploma today - he graduated the year I got sick and my house was being remodeled. For some reason I cannot find it and I'm looking through files of paperwork.  My little shredder is getting a workout!  It's amazing how much paper we keep.  I still have my tax returns from my first job in 73 - can't bring myelf to throw out those tax papers.

Jaz, good job on the step.  Keep it up.  I think the song last night was a good one - it kept stopping on the song so I never got to finish it.

Iris, I went to a fundraiser cocktail party yesterday in a very exclusive town - one of the most expensive areas in the country.  There are six of us women, get dressed, go up there, and we don't see any cars, we see the hired help washing windows, re-read the email we got that says the party is Saturday, April 6, make some phone calls, and find out the event is today, Sunday, April 6 - so we have to go back this afternoon. Once I get the program written for my fundraiser, I'll email it to you and you can see the packages for the silent auction.

Well, have to get exercising, go to the store, find Ryan's diploma and go back to the cocktail party today so hope all have a good day.

Good morning Beach Ladies.  Its a wonderful day on this side of the beach.  Picking up some happy vibes here.

Margaret -- the paper clutter is my biggest issue too.  Its a never ending stream it seems.   If I don't stay on top of it my dining room table becomes a mountain of paper.

    Surprise song of the day!

I'm going to a real beach on Friday (Marco Island) which I've mentioned earlier.  Finally, it's almost here.  I am taking you all with me.  However, due to the weight and baggage restrictions, I will have to beam you all South.

Back your bags for Friday.  I called the airlines to check on my reservations and they had been cancelled "by my "travel agent."  Since I didn't use a travel agent, this is another one of those mysteries.  We were able to get reinstated, so all is well.  With all I've been through, you'd think things like that wouldn't bother me, but they still do

    Shrink,

    I'm packed and ready.

Beam me to the beach about 20lbs lighter please please.

    P.S.

A little beach bird told me that our "beach patrol" gave the airlines "what for" and got your travel arrangements back on track.

    Gotta love our "beach patrol."

Divine -- I have no idea why that would happen.  I hope you get your screen name back as well.  I've been to your websites and watched your videos.  I hope you hear about Sammy soon.

Sahalie -- now why didn't I think to ask for the 20 lbs lighter thing.  :)

I think Divine has been the unwitting victim of a case of mistaken identity.  I fear you may have been mistaken for 'she who must not be name' who is a banned poster.

Divine is a legitimate poster and not 'she who must not be named.'  Here is a link to Divine's website where you can read her story and see her face.

    http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/divineintervention

I'm not trying to create an issue or stir up more trouble.  I just want everyone to be aware that not all new posters are 'she who must not be named' and we need to be careful making assumptions.

    Divine,

    Your website is amazing!

It's like a treasure chest of information and wonderful pictures,

    stories and true happenings.

I cannot believe what happened to your husband.

Actually I can because people are being detained, deported and harassed daily.

I pray you are together again very soon.

I book-marked your wonderful website so I can take my time and read your amazing entries etc.

Thank you Always Hope for the link.

    Devine,

I don't know what happened about your posting name but please stay no matter how many names you need to post.

Divine, you were banned?  Now I'm going to have to check your website since Jaz says how good it is.

Sahalie, the fundraiser I went to yesterday was in Hillsborough.  Turns out I couldn't go back today; six of us had planned for yesterday but not for today.
