Hi girls, a break from American Idol so thought I'd say hi.
Amy, thank you. She doesn't want to do it but this is something that needs to be done.
Faith, thank you too. I want to be on that hammock.
Angel, for you.

Hi and a Happy Tues Evening,Beach Buddies,
angel...thinking of you and missing you. Thank you for beginning this thread and thanks to all of you that I have met! It is a great pleasure. I thought of you and hope these pics show you what a super influence you hv bn. You and Jasmine took the time to teach me how to post pics and I appreciate the kindness. You have bn a real friend to me and I hope that you know how much you are loved and missed! Hello to the beautiful family, too!
Jasmine...loved the Angels song and the "Hair" song. That is only how far I hv gotten so far. However,I play them all in Bigscreenville! Yahoo! Hope that your day has gone well. Had to laugh at the Montgomery,AL summer story! That is so true...it is HOT in summer! I rememb the summer I was in grad schl and my dorm rm got over 85 degrees as it was in the 105 range.Back in the 70's Southern schls were still not fully air-conditioned. That was a long and hot summer schl session! Talk abt sweating a degree! LOL!
Sahalie...loved the pic and that is so me! I am ready to be perched at the top of that beautiful cabana! Those seahorses make me want to be at the ocean---now! Those are such beautiful designs...great colors! So ready to go with shrink---good thing she is aware of how many suitcases she is taking as I might just sneak onboard! Beam me up,too! LOL
shrink...have a wonderful vacation and tell us all abt it. I can't wait to see the pics esp the ocean! The colors are just magnificent and the breeze...I can feel it right now(well sort of in my mind! LOL) We will miss you and can't wait to hear all abt what you see,eat and all the neat things there! Hope that you have some of those lovely and colorful fruity drinks that we have seen here! Enjoy every minute...
Amy...I did check-out your caring bridge site and how awesome! I will be back as I only had a few minutes and want to go back and read more. The pics of your real "kid" and your other "almost real" kids are awesome! Thank you for sharing some here. The colors are so neat and there was a due date like the 7th for some new little ones, right?
Margo...hi to you and all the best to Nancy tomorrow. I will be thinking of her and wishing her a speedy recovery. She will be in good, caring hands with your support and help. Tell her that your friends are thinking of her and wishing her all the best. What a beautiful angels pic! I know all abt shredding as I have two for my house. It seems like I am a "junk mail magnet" as that stuff just seems to grow. I try to re-cycle it in huge bins when it grows too much. Glad you found what you were looking for as that is such a wonderful feeling! Take care!
Wings...sorry to hear abt the antibiotic reaction as I know that is painful and so annoying. Seems like we( my mother and I)are more sensitive to some antibiotics than we were a few yrs back. I am hoping that you are feeling much improved as well as the UTI. So annoying to treat one thing and wind-up treating the drug that was to help. I went back to see your lovely lighthouse now that I can see in in a larger screen. Absolutely beautiful and what nice pics! Please share some more with us.
Candie...great to see you last night. How did your test go? I think it was faith(pls forgive,if I am incorrect)who asked abt it. Hoping that all went well and that you are feeling better. I took several pics of my mother's flowers before I left there. The spring flowers just seem to say that winter is on its way...yeah! I hope that you had a good day!
Susan...hi to you and hope that your day was good.
divine...I loved the pics on your website. You are such an awesome photographer and thanks for sharing your work. Hope that you had a good Tues. Glad that your company had a great visit with you.
Celia...thank you for sharing the news and sorry to hear of trouble. I hate sadness esp at the beach. Anywhere is sad;but,I feel sadder at the beach because that is where I have become better acquainted with many new people.
faithandfifty...glad to see you and the news abt the new Mom-to-be. I had wondered during the wknd and tried to see if there were up-dates. After finishing this post,I want to order from your website as that would be a great surprise for my little buddy,Erin...(don't know when the E's come...I think we were on the B's...I am impatient!) who is three. She is real special as her mom had major gyn issues and thought there would be no children ever. Then, there is Erin! Her mom had cancerous issues in her teens and nev thought any children would be in her plan. This little one is so cute and loves music and dance(told you this before,I think! LOL) Thanks for all you do! Children and adults are so fortunate that you are so creative and caring.
Thank you for the lovely pics and your kind remarks! I write(on and on)but it is sincere and reflective. I have discovered much kindness on this thread and all of you are such kind friends! Your pic of the sunset was so lovely and thank you for all the great pics! I read all abt the wkend and so glad it went well! Glad to hear that the little gs is doing well! He is so cute!
Now,I can see the actual words...and post...yippee! Have a great Wed all of you Beach Buddies!

Please, re consider this...and please know for the record Angel is a new friend I have met throught this web site. I am thankful for her....like so many here are.
I proudluy quote angel when I say :
This journey is a tough one ... "let's hold each other up, laugh when we can, cry when we need to, find hope, courage, strength and love with the help of one another."

Good morning Beach Friends. We have severe storms in the area again so I will most likely be offline and unplugged most of the day. I don't want to risk the new laptop. Here's a song by special request.

Good morning beach buddies,

My stress test was cancelled cause my insurance didn't give them the ok yet. My ins. co, is such a pain in the you know where. My palps have pretty much subsided, not hald as bad as they were....what a good thing. Will catch up soon. Thanks for the rainbow song,Jas..that I did click on to.
Enjoy your day..love ya all.
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

Well, I'm getting ready to unplug all the important appliances in my house again. Looks like the next round of weather is rolling in as I can hear the thunder now.
Made a quick trip to the recycle center during the break in the storm. Here's a quick tip: When the user manual for the paper shredder says no sticky labels, they really mean it.
I will talk to everyone later when the storms let up.
Divine -- how was your chemo?
Margaret -- keeping your sister in my prayers today.Iris, Faith, Candie, and anyone I missed from A to Z -- love and hugs.

Jaz I sure hope those storms fade out before they get to Bama. I know you always usually get them and then send them our way. I do think we are up for it on Friday as they mentioned the tornado word last night on the news for this weekend. Spring in the south,,gotta love it!
Margo-thinking of your sister today.
Iris-yes it was a due date. We had a little boy born on the 6th. He is a cute little booger even if he is a stinking boy,,lol. The little girls are very friendly. When we walk in to the kidding pen where they are they come up and put their legs on your legs as if to say,,pick me up. When you pick them up they just snuggle right in.
Divine-nice thread you started.
Busy here at work so cant reach everyone but hopefully I will be back.

Good morning.
I too am checking in to tell Margaret I will be thinking of you and your sister today and wishing her a smooth sailing and quick recovery.
Jasmine, thanks much for the info on no sticky labels into paper shredder.
I have to buy a shredder this week for the mountain of papers I have to shred. I wouldn't have thought of the sticky problem.
I hope your storm doesn't turn out to be too bad.
Are you in the middle of the thunderstorms announced on the weather channel?
We are having fantastic weather here in the land of sun.
Have you seen our Golden Gate Bridge lately in the news?
Check out the blue blue sky. Beautiful.
Devine, Hello. I look forward to seeing your photographs.
Amy, I love love your baby goats, your mama and papa goats and all the sibling goats. I would love to have goats on my farm but it would necessitate adding new fencing and that means $ so it has to wait a bit. Our neighbor has goats and they are like his children.
We have a huge old Oak tree that is partially on his side of one of his fields and those goats get up on their hind feet and eat away.
They make the most remarkable sounds.
More pictures please!
Candie, Hi. I sure hope your insurance woes get fixed soon.
Faith, I'm still thinking the 24th. How does it look?
Iris, Beach wishes are always a welcome good feeling.
Let's hope we can see our Charlene dancing up the beach soon dancing towards us.
We should get her beach towel fluffed and some new sparkly flip flops for a welcome home gift.
We could outfit the flip flops with automatic tin foil zappers to keep away hurtful, senseless interlopers.
Also, the minute we see her dancing up the beach towards home let's get the Luau ready and the Beach Patrol on alert.
Come on home Angel/Char

OK beach bunnies.... I'm gonna need your encouragement & prayers. I think I'm starting to run on fumes now. We started the day with wonder-boy running a fever & throwing up on me. He's obviously got some kind of crud-bug. The rest of the day he was just kind of a limp dishrag, which made me feel so helpless.
Then there's the DD who's got this horrific cough & she won't take anything for fear of the babies health. Today was her doc appt and he assures her that all of her 'miserable' symptoms are well within the normal range.... unpleasant, but acceptable. Trevor's still breech. Monday is next appt..... he needs to flip by then or the c-section goes on the calendar for real.
My battery is running pretty low. How on earth will we manage this story with the schedule of 2 newborns added into the mix???? Can't really bring myself to think of that mayhem.
The good news: we heard both heartbeats very strong, again today.
This miracle under-construction is almost too much to imagine. Can't begin to imagine how they are tucked in there, apparently safely.
Please keep up the calm, tranquil images -- I count on this peaceful place to get me thru the day. I count on each of you.
Here's a picture of Sarah on the way out the door to the ob.

Hi to every one of you,Beach Buddies!
Hi faith and Sarah! The twin bears are for the new little ones...
I am sending the little feel better bear for your gs,faith. Thinking of the good news that Sarah had with the strong heartbeats and glad her cold is not as worrisome as could be...does that make sense? Maybe the bears have not any contagious germs...I am a bear collector;although, these were from the web.
Interesting idea to take flight with wings on the beach...
for all the friends and angels we have met along the way...all the special times we cherish...all the dreams that have materialized and those that are yet to come to fruition...angel/Charlene...thank you for being a friend to all of us...
divine...hope that you had a nice beachy day and what an awesome website! Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics with us. Thank you for sharing that beautiful pic with us today. It just makes me want to go to the beach this weekend. Thinking of you!
sahalie...what an awesome idea abt those sparkly flip-flops for Charlene and the beach towel...I love beach towels and your pics were so lovely! Thank you for your kindnesses to all of us! I love to read your posts. I think a luau sounds awesome right abt now!
Amy...beautiful pic of your kids and my have they grown! I guess you hear that all the time. However,it really is amazing how fast they do grow. They have the most beautiful colors. Sorry that it was not a female "kid" this time and thinking that maybe next time it will be. Glad that the new male member is doing well and all "kidding" aside,I know your family loves them.
This little "real"kid likes to share ice cream with the other "kids"!
Wings...how are you? Sure hope that you are feeling better very soon. We miss your beautiful pics and neat stories! Thinking of you...
Jasmine...so hoping that your weather was not as bad as some of the past storms. Wow! Is this the way most springs are? It seems like we have more storms these days? I may be just listening more intently since I have "cybermet" people who live there. Take care and cover! Great song! This pic reminds me of this neat song! I think of "Cold Case" theme and love that show!
Margaret...thinking of your sister and know that she has so many friends waiting with you. I hope you felt us today as she and you were in my thoughts.
Hope that all of you have had a good day at the beach or wherever you are located! Thanks for spending time here with me at the beach! Until tomorrow...
Happy Trails...in the words of my favorite cowboys of the fifties.

Missing Angel hope to see you back on the beach soon.
Faith - Take a look at the adorable twins. When the time comes you will find the strength to carry on. I'm sure there will be hectic days for all of you. But in a few months you will all be pros. Sorry to hear Wonderboy is ill hope he bounces back soon. Sarah looks great, try some hot tea w/ honey for the cough.
Jaz - you were right about YouTube - I have dial up.
Think I am finally back on the mend. New antibiotic finally kicked in. Started having severe back and side pain Dr. thinks I may have kidney stones. Once UTI is gone will probably do follow up on the stones.
Making this short & sweet for now. Will try to catch up on everyone tomorrow.

Thanks ladies for the caring thoughts for my sister. It was a long day; I picked her up at 8 and I didn't get home until 5. She was pretty groggy when I left her tonight and she was starving. They finally brought her food at 6:30.
Divine, I checked your website - great photography. I'll read your caringbridge site when I get a chance. How did chemo go?
Sahalie, how close do you live to me? Love the flip flops.Faith, breathe. Last thing you need right now is to get sick so make sure you take care of yourself. Sarah looks great.
Wings, glad the antibiotics are kicking in.
Will catch up later. Thanks again for thinking of my sister; it sure helped today.

Here's the cake from Nephew's wedding over the wkend. They also served flaming cherries over ice cream. Food was awesome, bride and groom were adorable.
Sahalie - Did Jaz get on board? Nice rescue.
Iris - thank you for the caring bears picture. Just how big is your collection? When my DD was younger she did a small Care Bear collection which I still have.
Maragret - hope you got some rest after your long day. Maybe you can sneak some food in for your dear sister.
Divine - Nice web site, great pictures. I look forward to seeing more of your photos.
Nessie - Faith has sent out a search party for you.
We have missed you on the beach.
Candie - How has your week been? Hope you are feeling better.
Forgive me if I have missed anyone today. I'll catch up w/ you on Sahalie's rescue boat.
Hugs

We just had a major thunderstorm move through that dumped 3 inches in 30 minutes...my backyard is totally underwater.0

Thinking this could work out nicely for the new pool I have wanted to put in for years. And its free!

It's a brand new day at the beach. Thanks for the kind words & kick in the pants.... I think all of this "waiting" is what's making me extra nutty. I'm so grateful that I have all of you to keep me grounded. Patience is a virtue, right?
Have been to the grocery & refilled the pantry shelves, so that's one more thing crossed off of the list. Gotta get back to the nursery walls!
Divine: finally had a chance to go and look at your photo website. How very inspirational. I especially LOVED how you had your testimonials mounted. That was such an awesome 'device' to share your talents, as reflected thru the eyes of others.
Jasmine: I've been singing about unicorns all day. Wonder boy has really enjoyed me noodling on about all of those creatures. Go ahead and put in a diving board -- we'll all come by for a swim.
Wings: So glad to hear that the meds are taking effect. So sorry to hear that there are more doctors in your future, as you sort out the specifics. You've really had a year. Get to the bottom of it. Be well, sweetie.
Iris: Thanks for the bears of encouragement. Little wonder boy does seem much better today, not exactly himself, but the fever's broken for the most part. With your help I'll aspire to make it thru.
Margo: glad to hear that your sister's made it thru the first step.... now full speed ahead for recovery and wellness. What are you doing with your trainer these days? Have you found the perfect LBD? little black dress....
Sahalie: thanks for getting that boat outta the dock and off to the rescue. Just remembering our honeymoon sail gives me the strength to keep at this 'one-day-at-a-time' process.
Candie: so sorry to hear that the insurance co has given you frustrations for the testing, but it sounds like your (whispering now:) palpitations, have been a bit more 'managable' of late -- it must be all of our praying for you!
Amy: I'm not an 'animal person' but those pictures of the little goats are absolutely the sweetest pics, makes me want to get back to nature. Attempted to go to caringbridge & find your entry, but found out that you can't search once on that site.... please list your link again, of maybe I can find it by reading back.
Deb: sending you all that you need for this day. Something to laugh about, something to look forward to.
Nessie: i'm picturing you on a private island. Bet you're the one that ran off with the hammock, aren't you? Enjoy the time away & be sure to use plenty of sunscreen. Come back with lots of pictures.
AngelChar: sending you some joy, some chocolate & some spring flowers. Be good to yourself today. We're having a splashing good time here at your beach!
Now I'm working on figuring out how to mount an avatar....
0 -
Watch out world!! I have an avatar!! I didn't even know what an avatar was until quite recently...... and somehow I managed to mount this pic, without Jasmine walking me thru step-by-step. Just knowing she would gave me courage!!
