    Key West 2 wks ago for dd's wedding ... one of the best times i've ever had in my life ... first time to KW for us ... i certainly hope not my last ... love and hugs to all

    faithandfifty - I want to sink my toes into that beautiful hawaiian sand - beautiful!!

    marlegal - love Key West, you captured some beautiful colors.  Isn't it amazing how the colors change from minute to minute......

    SoCalGal - love the color of the water - I can get lost in that sea of blue/violet, so soothing.

    seyla888 - who cares if it's a google photo - a girl can dream!

    I have been working in the yard all day, mostly weeding but that's okay because it is therapeutic for me.  There were some good looking coreopsis at the grocery store yesterday so of course I bought some.  I'm such a garden junkie.....fertilized this morning also, and just finished mowing my lawn in the nick of time before it started to pour.  My hydrangeas are starting to come into bloom, will share photos soon.

    LIME!!! You're already posting pictures! Real, live, actual beach pictures no less. You will receive your official beachie-girl member card via a bottle I just threw into the waves..... be on the look out, should wash up at your place in a day or two.

    AND MAR AT THE BEACH!!!!!

    I swear I don't remember Mar ever making it to the beach to splash with us?????? Of course she's got those great KW pics to share, but still we need to have a welcome party.

    faith, this is my first visit to the beach site ... found it last night somehow, and am sure to come back often :)  we're at our NJ trailer on the delaware bay ... have to find some of my pics from here to post.  meanwhile, here's another Key West pic.  sunset at mallory square the night of the rehearsal dinner - sunset was part of the plan!!  it's been 2 weeks, but still feels like yesterday and I'm hanging on for dear life to keep these memories close - we are blessed to have moments like these in our life and I'm not taking this one for granted for one second.  the wedding weekend festivities (and there were many!!) were all just so awesome, and all present have told me that over and over.  sometimes we really luck out :)

    I finish cleaning my yard today.

    Memories with family and friends are priceless.

    Faith thanks for been my personal assistant.   LOL

    I was so happy in Hawaii. I invited myself again next May.

    DD and Joe say that i do not need an invitation. The door is always open. Now Im gonna get mushy.

    My older DD Natalie bought her sister a ticket so she can come here for a week.

    She'll be 30 in August. We are just having a early celebration. Her birthday is on July 8th.

    So we decided to celebrate all the past ones all together.

    Lime - that picture felt like I could reach out and touch the water..seeing the sun catching the peaks, hearing the woosh cominh in...How amazing, so simple yet really powerful for me. Thats where I want to be!!

    Tomorrow morning is my "second opinion" new BC surgeon appointment. I am switching horses in the middle of the stream. This is a new hospital system for me, in addition to the doctor being new. All this in an effort to get to the bottom of what on earth is going on with me.

    I suspect that the culprit is LE (Lymphodema) brought on as a result of the infection after my surgery.

    In any case, I am grateful to all prayer support, well wishers, and the general sending encouraging thoughts from our team. I have waited 7 weeks to get onto her roster & pray that her new set of eyes will shed new insight on the ongoing pain. Tomorrow's the day!!!

    Sending prayers out to all of our team (and any who read along) who are experiencing any sort of pain or frustration due to this journey, but especially to those going thru chemo or rads and those with s.e. from medications.

    Blessing across the board.

    On the 'up' side, I have poured my angst into creative effort and have completed another illustration for my upcoming book. Yesterday my DH took the first 24 pages, cover & end papers off to be scanned, so that we can begin the process of 'building' the book in earnest.

    So that is genuine & real tangible progress. Take that BC. Take that LE.

    I couldn't move at the end of the day, after working nine hours straight to get it all done/organized/ironed/finished, but today it is indeed done & I can move again.

    I am sitting in new surgeon's office..... Studying our beach collection of photos is keeping me from coming out of my skin..... First snaffu over where my previous films ended up???!!!??!?!?!
