I can dream of Fernando but here is my reality and I must once again back the guzzler

out of the garage and mosey to my farm of peace and supreme tranquility, do some

gardening, tend to the animals before the fog lifts and it gets hot.

See you later Beach Babes.  Good day to All. K.

OK. Taking a deep breath....... realizing just how recently I was on the real beach, with nothing to do but unwind and enjoy.

    Here's the view every afternoon:

Yes. I know I am fortunate. Yes. I know that "these" Mary Poppins days are limited....

I gotta tell ya, they are just so exhausting, tho. It's a good thing I'm 51 and not 61.......

Closing my eyes for a quick zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Robin, I'm glad you enjoyed the quilt images. The exhibit was soooo very inspiring. Now I just have to tap back into that feeling -- as I move back into my next project.

Sahalie, glad to hear that you've had some restorative fog. Fog: the blessing kind. wave to those redwoods of yours for me.

Celia: I just adore the images that you share..... still new to this posting images team, but I'm LOVING what you bring for my brain.

hugs to the fliers-by, the peekers-in, the read only(s), the many friends......... A to Z

nEEsie, this picture is for you -- even tho I never found an appropriate toe ring!

jasmine, i got a super simple pie recipee yesterday that would have been perfect for your ribs

Winger: got the cutest piece in the mail, made me think of you, I just love pinking sheers!

     Helllllllllllooooooooooooooooo anyone on the beach?

I arrived home and it looks like everyone's on the beach in their hammocks swaying to the

breezes and sounds of the ocean waves OR partying somewhere without me.

Send out a smoke signal or a beach boy for me OK.  Please.

Upon arriving back home I dropped off my doggies, took the el guzzler to the

gas "bank" and filled it up before this next holiday weekend when it's s'posed to

    reach $5.00 a gal.

It's 3/4's way there already. I then returned some neat new "Earth" Shoes that were

earthy and cool but way to $ for my sensible kind of sometimes logic.

Wandered over to "Whole lotta Foods" for a whole lotta $ and did a big shopping,

came home put everything away and sat down to a yummy meatball and macaroni plate.

Poochies are napping and a gentle breeze is tickling the green leaves of the back yard

    foliage and trees.

Jaz.  Your song this morning is super.

I love Alan Mr. Jackson and got to see him a year ago up at a concert at Clear Lake.

He is so good looking it's almost criminal.  I go into a daze just thinking.

    So thanks for that song.

Robin, I don't know how Jimmy leaves his island to go do concerts.

Must be to earn the money to pay for the island.

SocalMsLisa,  Fernando the other cute guy here on the beach plays for Liverpool

    during the season.  I think.

He played for Spain during the European games.  Isn't he yummy.

Not quite as yummy as Alan Jackson though.  Where's a fan.

I need a fan and my lampshade.  Oxygen.  Anyone?

Faith,  It is pretty difficult isn't it when we've been to paradise and have to come home.

Wait till winter then book the trip again for next year.

    We love going in October/November.

Actually we hit the tail end of the high season in Polynesia before the trade winds

    become agitated and blow.

I hear a party going on up the hill by Fernando's Hide Away so maybe I'll wander up the

path to the food and festivities.

Anyone catch Larry King tonight?  Phenomenal show with the CEO of Chevron, Robert F.

Kennedy Jr.,  Ed Begley Jr., assorted governors and reps for the two Presidential candidates.

    Superb show.  Extremely informative.

I'll be in my hammock *

Good evening Beach Angels.  LOL@ Sahalie's 'gas bank'.  Ain't that the truth these days.  Its so unreal and it certainly doesn't look like its going to be stopping anytime soon.

Wings -- so nice to see you popping in.  You have certainly been missed.

     Margo -- hello to you

Good morning Beach Angels.  Well, its July 1st already and it seems like this year is just flying by.  I can't believe its already half over.

I've resolved to get back to my early morning exercising at the Community Center here.  I've let it lapse the last few weeks.  After my shopping expedition to try to find clothes that look good (thank goodness I wasn't planning to buy any) failed miserably, I really need to get some of this weight off.   The weird thing is that I could find some nice dress slacks to fit but finding a nice business casual top to go with them was ridiculous.

Faith --  please post your pie recipe!!!  I found a really great hot chocolate recipe on Sandra's Semi Home made that I want to try as well but I may wait until it starts to cool off before posting it.

Sahalie -- what does our most wonderful cruise director have lined up for today?  How are the fires in your area?

Wings -- I'm so happy to see you pop in.  I love our new beach van and the decorations are supreme.  We are getting quite a collection of travel vehicles for our beach ladies.  We may need to see about building a large garage to store them.

Good morning to Celia, FPAngel, Susan, Biker, Amy, SoCalLisa, Spar2, Deborye, MargaretB, RobinTN, Neesie and all other Beach Angels from A to Z.

Surprise song of the day!   Here's a little Neil Diamond for you this morning.

Winger!! I LOVE the van. What an appropriate way to start the parade! I'd like to print that one.... no I think I'd like to use that plan and decorate my car. Love it. Love it. Love it. It's so good to see your lighthouse on the beach. Thinking of you always.

Sahalie, that hammock looks like it's a double wide and I think I can see footprints in the sand. Just who popped outta there before those pictures were taken?

Margo: glad to see you buzzing in and out.

Jas: sounds like you've been havin' some great times lately.

Celia: sweet, dear Celia of sharpie-fame, I'm just so grateful to have you as a beach buddy. What an amazing talent you have for picking me up and carrying me.

Socal: it's just awesome to have a photographer in our midst. Get your camera ready.... we have some big festivities planned for the fourth

Robin: have you gotten your assignment for our water skiing extravaganza yet? Be sure you get fitted for your glitter tutu.....

Brain a bit fried. We moved the circus act back to Sarah's late yesterday upon hearing that the air conditioner parts had arrived via the USS Minnow..... they are to be installed this morning. Oh happy day!  My DH departs in a couple of hours for about 3.5 weeks to our northern address. Me choosing to stay behind till Scott gets home. (Can you see my pout?) This being a martyr thing is getting old -- I'm just not that good a person.

Have two meetings this morning for consultations on my next book (am trying so hard to make some progress...... this is with a music notation specialist and a sign language interpretor -- to hammer out those aspects.)

Tomorrow is the rescheduled photo shoot for the glossy promo to the TV people....... progress?

So please forgive my not greeting everybody. nEEsie, just exactly what are you and Mario doing? Running a commune?

July First.  How did thee get here so fast?

Days and counting sweet beach birds until our flight of water fancy.

We must bedazzle.  We must shine.  We must have plenty of Jaz's iced tea

    and ocean side refreshments ready.

We must be outrageously beautiful and sparkly for all to see up and down the beach.

    July 4th Agenda is*

    1.  Organize your costumes both parade and water pyramid.

    6.  Be ready for Pyramid #1 at dawn.  More prayers.  Buffet. Ring toss game.

    7.  Parade in all our Glory.  Pomp and major circumstance to beat the band.

    8.  Afternoon snoozefest in red* white* & blue hammocks.  20 minutes.

    9.  Show of all shows under the stars before it gets really dark with our sparklers lit

costumes lit* skis lit* Pyramid of all Pyramids off the shore line of our fabulous beach

with all of us in perfect harmony and stance with twirlygigs and flashing battons while

we balance each other through this show of shows for all the spectators to be in total

    *

OUR SONG.  TODAY* ON THE 4TH AND EVERY SINGLE DAY OF TIME!

    *

    We are family
I got all my sisters with me
    We are family
    Get up ev'rybody and sing

    Ev'ryone can see we're together
    As we walk on by
(FLY!) and we fly just like birds of a feather
    I won't tell no lie
(ALL!) all of the people around us they say
    Can they be that close
Just let me state for the record
We're giving love in a family dose

Living life is fun and we've just begun
To get our share of the world's delights
(HIGH!) high hopes we have for the future
    And our goal's in sight
(WE!) no we don't get depressed
Here's what we call our golden rule
Have faith in you and the things you do
    You won't go wrong
    This is our family Jewel
