Wings.... can you get enough feathered head gear together for everybody this time?

I think we'll look so much more coordinated, if we all match from toes to tops:

Sahalie - Thank you for the check list. The 10 steps you listed for the party are great and I have been working on each one to prepare for the party. The party favors look so very festive.

JaZ - I think you should sign up to bring your barBQ ribs and tator salad and some of that sweet tea. Faith will have to add her own hard "sugar" to it. teehee  Can we borrow your lampshade hat with the pink fur around it for our costumes?

Faith - I am ready to dive into the cyber cake NOW - I bet beary sweet Iris beat me to. Great idea on the hat thanks for the tip.

spar2 - Love the coconut bras thanks for finding them. I will put cabana boys on coconut craving duty. Love your decorated bike I think Sahalie has a special someone lined up for the parade judging. Prizes for best decorated bike and lots of other parade prizes and I'm sure she has the judges for our water adventures too.

Lisa - Love the beach party banner - bring a friend to help carry it at the front of the parade.

Margo - Can you do a fancy air show in your fly by for the parade?

nEEsie -  Come join our parade - I would love to see you in one of those air balloons from the Holland MI balloon show you attended.

Celia - We need some of your colorful glass balloons for the parade.

FOOTS - Get your new wheelie decorated and stir up some lemonade.

Here's my bike I am entering in the parade.

PS - My daycare had a float in our small town Christmas parade - we won FIRST place. We decorated float as the Teddy Bear Express - children wore little bear ears and bears were all over the place. Iris would love all the bears. Parade is in the evening so we decorate the floats with lots of Christmas lights. So pretty and sparkly at night. Draw back is we all freeze to death!

    Good morning..

Believe it or not I used to water ski to work , summers, when I was in high school and college.I spent  on a lake with my grandmother and worked five miles away in town, my boyfriend would throw me the rope when I waited at the end of our dock..I would have my shoes tied together and around my neck, I wore shorts...when we got there,I would let go , wash up on the shore, put on my shoes and carry the skis to work...of course I would only do it on nice days...

Lisa - What a great way to travel to work. With gas prices being so high maybe it will catch on again....teehee

Celia -  The glass balloons are beautiful. Glad we have help blowing up the others cuz I get dizzy just doing one.

I hired this cute little guy to help me out for the water competition LOL

    WHEEEEEEEEEEE

Big wave and good morning to ALL.

Good evening beachies, have been really down today, my son and grandson I haven't seen since last Nov were suppose to come spend a week with me but they called and cancelled the trip this morning due to finances and high gas and flight prices so I  was brave on the phone to him but cried all morning after we hung up. So am here to grab my flip flops and just lay on the beach with a drink and some good music.

ohhhh spar, so sorry to hear that your son and grandson had to cancel the trip.  Maybe after the big vacation peak period, the prices will come down a bit and a visit can be planned then.  Do you both have a web cam to "visit" with each other by computer?

spar you can just lay on the beach next to my beach chair and under my beach umbrella in the shade or out in the sun, whichever you prefer, and we will have a drink of something light and refreshing, maybe some hard lemonade and we will laze away some time.

janny, i love that peace symbol of flip floppers!!

wings, faith, sahalie, neesie, socal have gone all out and found feathers, costumes, water skies, decorated motorcycles and vans, grass skirts (pink ones !!!), rainbow hammocks, dog guards and mucho dogs with costumes, mini-airplanes, party favors, big beachie birds (thanks socal lisa) and just about everything we will need.  I highly suspect that jasmine will find us some fireworks for the 4th.

i have put lots of helium in my glass balloons so we can all just drift along in the wind with them.  Here is part of our float:

i just am beginning to hear the parade starting now...it should reach us soon.

I can't wait till the floats and the fireworks get here!!

footprints, i hope you are feeling good today and getting around in your new wheelie machine.

robin, deborye, susan, where are you?

what a hoot!!!! my first 'professional' photo shoot this afternoon: art director PLUS photographer, outdoors at our park of roses (lisa would have gone wild!!!)

then from there to a teeny town library performance: BIG turnout, fun, fun, fun

back safely to Sarah's -- where miss McK has mastered rolling over in my few hours away!!

seems that i never considered wearing sunscreen for the outdoor shoot (DUH) and am crisp after that brief time -- with an overcast afternoon..........  doesn't take much!

i, too have been loving all of the images being shared by everyone.

nEEsie so glad to see you're getting psyched for the bikini contest!

spar: sorry that your longed for visit got the ka-bosh. have a good cry on me.

celia: i too love the glass balloons & the balloon committee

lisa: picturing skiing to work has made me smile all day!!

amy: can't wait to hear about maine!! are you seeing lupines? whales?

susan & deborye: hope to see ya at the ten step program for beachers

winger: what fun to ride a pink bike -- does WingMan ride along?

janny: you found the perfect flipper floppers -- for our beach logo -- wait till sahalie sees it!

footie: time for cold lemonade together, i'm parched

iris: time for your return, bring your bears

margo: what ya gonna cook for us tomorrow

jas: remind me and i'll find you the pie recipee, it's a weight watchers apparently, but delicious!!

sahalie: almost time for the big shabang!!
