    Jo, I've been to both Akron (to visit friends) and Canton to see museum.

    Genia--what a small world :D I am praying that today is a good day for you, taking one day at a time.

    Foot, Spring, Jane, Juli, ladies.... we are another day closer to spring time, warm sun, gentle breezes, color and life coming back to the earth and ourselves. I pray the dark days are gone and our tired bodies and souls come back to life like daisys swaying in a field, faces turned toward the sun.

    Genia my good friend lives in West Portsmouth. Small world.. We can all pray more for others .I am trying to . God does hear and answers.

    Jo...Great news about the scans!! I offer a prayer of thanks for the good news. I have never been to the Empire State building or the Statue of Liberty! I thinks it the "oh that?" its just in by back yard for tourists thing. Oh well.

    Hope all is well for you today Genia, quiet, calm and peaceful.

    Father in heaven, help me to have hope by surrounding me with

    hopeful people. Help me to not receive bad news a though it is

    the last edition, but rather as a piece of information afloat on a

    river of facts flowing into a hopeful future. Heal me, I pray not for

    my sake or anyone else's, but for Your sake. And ground my

    hope in the reality of Your profound and enduring love for me

    Dear Lord, Bless all the wonderful people on Genies line, Help

    them to fight and know You are always there. Bless all the new

    people that just found out that they have breast cancer. Help to show

    them to keep their faith in You. Help those that are hurting or in need

    of Your comfort, We love You Lord and thank You for all You have

    given us. AMEN

    My mastectomy is scheduled for Tuesday.   I'm scared......but I know God will be with me holding my hand.  I would appreciate your prayers.........

    Genia- my prayers are with you for an easy surgery, and a quick ans uneventful recovery. I will be with you in the operating suite, holding your hand and humming songs of praise and comfort.  I know this must be a scary time for you but know that you are not alone, that God and your angels will be with you, as well as your sisters here.

    I thought so too.....I know my mama will be one of them.  She's been there for my other tests .....if she hadn't been.....I would have panicked!

    I just hope I don't make a fool outta myself this time coming out from under the anesthesia.  The last surgery I had where they had to put me all the way under......I was tryin to climb out of the bed when I started waking up.  One of my good friends worked in surgery.....well actually I was working in surgery then too......she came over to my bed and told me to stop......I was embarrassing her.  Of course she thought it was funny......not me.....I wanted UP out of that bed......lolol

    Lord, I lift to You the situations of my life that concerns me.

    I lay down my worries before you and ask for Your mighty

    intervention to show me what's right when only I can see

    what's wrong, I am determined to see the good, so help me

    not to be blinded by my fears. Give me strength, courage

    wisdom and faith for this journey. I know You have given me

    many angels and friends to watch over me and pray for me.

    I trust You to keep the Dr's on the right path and to continue

    giving me the light I need for the step I'm on. Amen
