Dear Lord, Please help our dear friend whoopiedoodle, Help her to be strong and rest in Your arms, Help the Dr's to get all of the tumor so it can help her heal. I posted this on my chemo thread but wanted to fill you all in also.
Had an appt with my Onco today. I will be starting rads, herceptin and tamoxifen next week.
Didn't get much encouragement from him today. My path report said my tumor was still 5 cm......and the 5 positive lymph nodes when they took my breast. He's hoping that the herceptin, radiation and tamoxifen will take care of any that's left.....but he says I'm very high risk of having METS. Made my day.....I just wanna bury my head in sand. But I already knew that.....figured that one out a while ago. More in my heart....than in my head.
Anyway.....that's life in the Genia household.
I have my days and nights mixed up. Staying up all night and sleeping a lot during the day. Can't get my brain to shut down at night. Had a major meltdown last night....just because I dropped my glass in the floor. Doesn't take much to trigger those emotions anymore.

Sweet Genia, my heart goes out for you. So much going on, no wonder you're all mixed up and all. My shoulder and ear are always here for you, along with gentle hugs and lots of prayers.

Father in heaven, Heal me, I pray. Not because it is in my best interest,

Physician. Grant me the grace to remain faithful in the face of pain and
suffering, nausea and concern. If you heal me I will praise You. Lord bring me

Dear Elaine, Thank you, I Love this family we have here and any other that
are in need of a reminder, Genia was the one that I started to I love to help
her and still do. She has taught me so much and so have all the others here.
We are never alone, I was when I had surgeries and chemo. But now like us
all, We always have the Lord God with us and friend like you, And that has helped me alot.

Father in heaven, help me to have hope by surrounding me with hopeful people.
Help me to not receive bad news as though it is the last edition, But rather as one
piece of information afloat on a river of facts flowing into a hopeful future. Heal me,
I pray, not for my sake or anyone else's but for your sake. And ground my hope in
reality of Your profound and enduring love for me and desire for my well being. In the

As a Christian, where do I find hope? Hope grows out of my
Easter faith. Easter teaches us that there is
no despair so dark,
no moral failure so grievous,
no thundercloud so threatening,
no disappointment so great,
no future so bleak,
no news so grim,
no life in such peril,
that our good and gracious God cannot remedy
through His power to heal, comfort, restore, reconcile
and redeem. Such is the reason that God came to earth
in the form of Jesus Christ. He wants us to live and love.
