Dear Lord Father in Heaven, I lift up young Chelsea to you.  Please help her to feel our prayers surrounding her and help her to reach out in her torment to hold on to your loving hands.   We direct satan in your name to release her at once as we will not relinquish anyone to him.  He will not have power over this young lady.  Please Lord hear the prayers of your children for our young who have so much destruction surrounding them.  Help your people to open their eyes and commit to working for you, not for this world.

In Jesus name, a name I hold so dear, Amen.

Oh my, so much going on! They will be in my nightly prayers.

I have a request- please pray for Geraldine and her family. She is a young mom with 2 daughters (4 and 8) and a loving husband. Geraldine has survived the cancer much longer than the doctors expected, major liver & bone involvement, brain embolisms, and other complications. Recently she had a pretty significant stroke and was placed into in-hosptal  hospice, being kept comfortable but is not aware of what is happening. Please pray for her and her family as they enter this next part of the journey. Prays of thanks for her large loving family that has been so helpful during this time, for all the memories she tried so hard to make for her girls,  the opportunity that she had to spend several months with her daughters in her birth country- sharing her life, culture and extended family with her children. Dear God please help them, please sooth their pain & fears, please help Geraldine when it is time, make it easy. Help all to find the strength and courage.

Lord we lift up Geraldine to you, the great Physician.  We know that all good things come through you and so we are leaving it on the altar according to your will.  A super-dose of peace and comfort to her 2 precious little girls.  Lord, you ask for specifics and so I ask that you give us a miracle for this family.  Rally Geraldine, rally!

Father, we also know that EWB is facing issues with her own health and so we also ask that you will be with her as she ministers to others and as she needs to be ministered to.  We claim victory for her ahead of time.

In the precious name of Jesus,

    Amen.

    Just Enough Light

Sometimes only the step I'm on,

or the very next one ahead,

is all that is illuminated for me.

God gives just the amount of light I need

for that exact moment I need it.

At those times I walk in surrender of faith,

    unable to see the future

and not fully comprehending the past.

And because it is God who has given me

    the light I have,

I know I must reject the fear and

doubt that threaten to overtake me.

I must determine to be content where I

       need to go.

    I walk forward,

           one step at a time

              fully trusting that

                 the light God shed

                     is absolutely sufficient.

Father, I want to lift up Genia and Geraldine.  Lord, I ask that you work on their hearts, bodies, and souls Lord.  I pray that you take hold of their precious families, as well.  Wrap them all in your loving arms.  I still want to lift up Jordan to you, and his family, along with Chelsea, Father, I pray that these two young people survive.  And Lord, I come to you humbly, and I ask that I seek you in my own time of need right now, and not other things.  I praise you, Father, and thank You, for You are the Almighty One! I pray this in your son's Holy name, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Hi girls! I have been reading this thread for a couple of days. I have been praising the Lord that I found it. You women are truly a blessing to all, thank-you!

Here is my prayer for all of us: The Isaiah Forty Prayer

Lord, God, we are completely dependent upon you!

Apart from you we have no other help.

We are helpless until you act.

But we believe you will act on our behalf.

We give up our frantic efforts to make thing happen.

Replace our weakness with your unfathomable strength!!!!!!!!!

    AMEN

Welcome Seaotter and thanks.  The more prayer warriors the better.

"The manifestations of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all."  -  1 Corinthians 12:7

When we minister to others through our gifts, we are tapping in to the inexhaustible energy and motivation of God.  When we exercise our gifts, the Holy Spirit flows through us like at no other time.  We are doing what we have been called and equipped to do.  We experience an extra measure of energy and joy.  -  from Dr. Charles Stanley's 'Day by Day'  devotional "God's Way"

I absolutely love all the prayers.  They calm my soul.  This is a passage I like.  Janet Paschal uses this in one of her songs.

    Isaiah 43

1 But now, this is what the LORD says-
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
           "Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

2 When you pass through the waters,
           I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
           you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

3 For I am the LORD, your God,
           the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush [a] and Seba in your stead.

4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
           and because I love you...

Isn't it wonderful!  We can put our names in verse 4:  and because I love _____________!

When storms of life toss me about, Lord, like a bobbing

cork at sea, and raging billows hide any hint of shelter. I

take heart at being securely planted in the hollow of Your

hand. When decouraging  dark clouds glower, fearful lightning

pierces, and thunderous trouble pound. I find comfort hiding

in the hollow of Your strong hand. My burdens are light when I

give them to You. You help me to rest and draw from Your

strength. My stress, my cares, my pain, I place them at Your

feet. Your warm, healing hands soothe me. I lean my worried

head upon Your chest. My weary soul open to You. How

wonderful, the way You calm my anxieties and fill the empty,

wanting chasm within me. Thank You, Lord for how good You

are. Thanking You for removing the "not" from my life and

replacing it with"I can through You." Surround me with Your

presence. Let Your light of positive Christianity shine through

me to others. Thank You, Lord, How I praise Your Name. Amen

    Hello sisters

I am here again to report another 4-wheeler accident.  Yesterday a little 5 yr old boy was killed on one of those things....I don't know the details of how it happened.  His dad is J J Jasper.  If any of you listen to American Family Radio you might have heard of J J...He is a DJ  on AFR here in my hometown.  J J is also a Christian comedian and also had a cameo as a paramedic in the movie "Fireproof".....J J was is a serious horseback riding accident last year and spent a long time in the hospital but has since recovered......and now this.....we can ask ourselves why but it is not for us to know....please be in prayer for this family.  This was their only son, they have 3 daughters older than he.

Jordan that had the 4-wheeler accident almost 3 weeks ago is still sleeping....he does move and he yawns.  They will be putting the piece of skull back in next week.

My DH sister is having a liver biopsy on Monday.  We are praying that it is a benign cyst and nothing else.  She has been there for my DH during all my surgeries.  She is his rock.

Thanks dear sisters for all your prayers.  This is a great topic to come to.  I read but usually don't post.  You are all in my prayers.  So glad that we have each other.

    In Christ Love

    Linda

Thanks for your prayer.  The little 5 yr old died of his injuries.  It is the 19yr old Jordan who is in the coma.  The little boys parents have a very stong faith, they need our prayers for strength.

    God bless you
