    Debbie.. I prayed for Michelle... so so so hard to start this ugly fight for our lives....

    Jo.. I know about the non believer thread.. I do not go there, I have just seen it in active topics. I pray for them too..

    Please pray for Barbara...stage 4, had surgery, chemo and now femara & herceptin. She is struggling with where she is and where she needs to go, who she is and the lack of understanding from her family. She is a true Mom and is trying to get use to the idea that she is important and worthy of caring for herself.Trying not to feel selfish when she tends to her own needs.

    Please pray for her family as they struggle with the cancer in the family,  changes (which are not seen) to the family dynamics, and what ever fears they have but are not expressing, that they learn to care for Mom and take on new roles.

    DK, I love Casting Crowns and that is one of my favorite.songs (hehehe, I say that for almost all praise and worship songs, they are so good)

    I don't think I've come across the non-believer thread so I will just send up prayers that their eyes will open, before He comes.

    Thanks my sisters for your continued prayers for Jordan.  He briefly opened his eyes on Tuesday and then went back to his healing sleep.  I believe God gave his parents this gift.  His way of saying that Jordan is still here and I am with him.  Have faith that I am healing him and when the time is right I will wake him and he will be back with you.  God is awesome in that way. 

    Also Jordan was taken out of ICU and placed into a regular hospital room.  This is so much better for his parents.

    When I need some inspitation I come here and read.  Thank you ladies for your beautifully written prayers.

    Dear Lord, we thank you for your healing touches on Jordan; for allowing his parents a measure of peace by opening Jordan's eyes, even for a brief period.  This is surely evidence of your goodness.  We truly appreciate all your blessings and know that you will continue to support his friends and family. 

    You are an awesome, loving God.  Amen.

    Thank youso much for all your prayers, my first Chemo went very well today. 

    I do have a story of God meeting needs no matter how small:

    Back ground - I have a friend who is a chef at a local restaurant, ran into her at Church and asked if she would make Cream of Carrot Soup today (comfort food for after chemo).  She had not planned on making the soup this week but graciously agreed to make the soup.  Needless to say, I craved the soup for the last three days.

    Fast Forward - stopped by restaurant after tx and friend told me this story:

    She is off on Mondays and went to call pre cook re my request...got side tracked and forgot...came in this am and noticed prep cook had started the soup of the day...it was Cream of Carrot!!!!! She had completely forgot!!!

    Our God is an AWESOME God... such a small thing but it meant the world to me!

    Hi Everyone, Michelle made it threw her first chemo and is doing pretty good.

    Thank you everyone for supporting her. I hope to get her in our family.

    to know our every tear. Please be with Michelle, Jordan and Betty threw their

     battles, They are in need of You and Your powerful love, Bless Genia, Debbie,

    Oh Ivorymom, what a great testimony - thanks for sharing.

    From one of my devotionals today (Charles Stanley - I love that guy!):

    "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." - Matthew: 28:20

    "In the form of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is with us at all times... How blessed we are to live in the time of the Holy Spirit.  When Jesus was alive on the earth, He could not be in two places at one time (well He could have but the Father did not set it up that way - IMHO not Stanley's words).  But now, Jesus is free of all constraints of time and space.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, He is with each of those who believe in Him at all times.  We never need to call for Jesus to show up, He is already present."

    Glad that everything worked out for you Michelle.

    Yes there is a God, w/o Him we would have nothing. After my mom passed away, He gave me my Grandmother and Aunt who raised my brother, sister and me.

    When one door closes, God has a plan for the next door to open.

    Please say a prayer for me, I am having my ovaries removed Tues Aug 4.(only as a precaution, since I am BRCA2+ and mom passed away from ovarian cancer in 1977)

    better then one... For if they fall, one will lift up the other.... I thank You that we have

    Genia,

    Thank you sooooooo much for sharing your uplifting story.  I know for a fact that God does often work through others.  Some people seem to have an uncanny knack of knowing when to and how to pray with and for others just at the right place and time.  This is because they sense the nuances that God sends through them...... speaking to them and indicating to them what to say or do and when to express  it.  You were touched by an angel.

    When you have been through an experience such as this.......you know it IS REAL!  You know it in your heart and in the depths of your essence. 

    I have absolutely no doubt that all will be well with you.......very well indeed!  Smile

    I thank God for each of you....he sent you to me....I know he did.  And the prayers are so much appreciated and loved.  I do pray for each of you....that whatever you are needing in your life....that God would give it to you if it would be his will.

    Lord, I come to You seeking Your special touch for Debbie (Foots).  She is feeling weak right now.  Please come along side her and help her to be strong.  She is a wonderful sister in faith.  She helps many with her inspiration of courage and her words of wisdom.  I know You say where two or more are gathered, I will be also.  We have many, many who will be praying for Debbie.  I ask in the name of Jesus that you send your angels to her to comfort her and help her.  Lord, I thank You for helping Debbie.  In Your precious Son, Jesus.  Amen

    Lord, I am so happy that my faith in you and your Word is true.  I know that there is no way I will ever know all there is about you but I know that I walk by faith and not by sight.  I don't have to know everything because you have it all under control.  Having that faith just makes this journey so much easier because I don't have to worry or fret; just give it over to you and there is peace in my being. 

    Lord, for those who don't believe or are on the fence, I just lift them up.  My earnest prayer is that one day, sooner rather than later, they will come to know you and what you did for all of us.  Open their eyes dear Lord Jesus to the truth, please.  For those who know you but have turned away because of the faults of others, I ask that you give them the understanding that we are all sinners and the bad actions of the few is not the same for so many of us others.  Dear Lord, please give those of us who choose to follow you the strength and fortitude to continue in our beliefs despite the jeers, criticism, ridicule, insensitivity and intolerance many times visited upon us.  We know to whom we belong and why. 

    I pray this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

    Genia by God's grace I have not had to deal with Breast Cancer first hand but I work in a hospital in New York and have had the utrmost blessing to have befriended many Breast Cancer Survivors.  When I hear the stories  and look into eyes of strength, tears,fears,love,victory and beauty I sit there and pray.  I pray that all women gain strength, peace and draw closer together, no matter what.  May I please bless other women with your Post 982.
