    Ladies,

I posted under a thread called Chemobrain a couple of articles from the NY Times that have appeared recently on this same topic.  Or you could just go to NYTIMES.com and search chemobrain under the "medical" tab to get access.

    God Bless

O Lord, Walking with You is the most excellent journey we

have ever taken, Father, The adventure is trusting You as we

fight our cancers, When we can't even see around the bend,

You are always there. Thank You dear Lord for being our Helper,

Our Comforter, Our Strength, Our guide, Lord, be with all our

people here and give them faith and courage to stay strong

in Your word. Bless those that are not them selves, That they

will be comforted and  have peace. To help them get better and

not hurt as much. Bless, Genia, Jo, Holly, Jane,Patoo, and all the

other ladies, That they will  feel Your loving arms around them each

day, In this we ask, In Your name, Jesus Christ, Amen

(Jesus said)" Come unto Me, all you who are

weary and heavy burdened, and I shall give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from me,

for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

What threads do you all go to.

I have never even had a mean PM.

    Just wondering...?

I would like to pray for peace and treatments that work for all bc people and for all the men and women fighting for our country to give them peace and what they need to do their jobs. Lord, please help us love one another as you love us and be kind to one another especially on a board like this one where we all need support.  In Jesus name I pray. Amen

    and Amen.

Estepp,  I think I have tried to act and respond to all posts as Jesus would.  I do have a burden for the lost but have learned to respect others space and so I will go as far as I can with simple words of love and then give it up to my Lord.  I have not received, nor have I PM'd anyone other than a Christian sister or someone who had a personal question for me.  Nor have I had my feelings hurt on any of the threads although I think on one thread I was misunderstood and so the responses were somewhat intolerant.  But, like JO, I'm thick skinned.  I also like to give people a wide berth.

Trust me, you don't want to know which are the other threads.

    God is in control.

if it is not in the prayer and inspiration topic... then I know to say..." in my view" or... " I do not want to push any view onto you"... because I am not in the prayer topic. If someone were to tell me that I was offending them.. in another area of this board.. them I would say.. OK.. and I would leave.. Just like Jesus did...

I bet you are just a burst of sunshine in other forums...(((HUG)))

Here.. we KNOW we are on the same team...

Bless each of you.. please pray for Sherry... Debbie.... Karen.... and Jill....

So sorry Estepp about Del.  I do believe you said he was a believer so we rejoice that he now sits with the Father.  For Del there will be no more sorrow, no more pain.  We offer up prayers for the family that they will find solace in the Lord during this difficult time.

    Laura, Del is saying

    When I Die

When I die, Sing no sad song for me

and don't cry no tears for you see, My

Death will be kind of a pleasure for me,

Because there will be no more pain, I'll

    be set free.

Don't stand by my grave and wonder why?

Why this person had to die. Because I will

be with my love ones in heaven you see and

Oh how happy I will be. By Debbie for my Dad

Estepp, so sorry to hear of your loss......I too will pray for Del and his family......I truly believe prayer works...I am a prime example.....The Lord answered all our prayers and I got my job back......My sister is another prime example.....She was dx with stage 3 breast cancer just 5 months before myself and she is doing wonderfully.....There is a little girl she knows in our hometown who is supposed to be very religious (Idon't know her) and my sister told me the little girl told her mom that my sister didn't have to worry about a thing cause God told her my sister was going ot be just fine!......I believe it and so does my sister....God is wonderful and He does amazing things!.......

    Foots - very touching prayer.

JO - you are so right.  Through the grief and sadness - God can still put a smile on our faces.... because we  know Whom we have believed in and we can KNOW where we are going.  It is for this reason that we can bear with this bc and any disease that may come our way.  No, we don't want to leave family or friends and there are things we all want to accomplish but because we know who is at the end of this journey called life, we, like your mom, have no fear.  I don't want to leave my sons but I am soooooooooo ready if He calls.  No, it's not morbid nor sad.

Thank you Jesus for the promise that when your children depart this earth they will have a place with you.  I can only imagine...

O Lord My mind is tangled with the cares of the day as I

come to You, O Lord. I praise You for Your healing

whispers of love and encouragement. In You I find freedom

from strife. I wait on Your strengthening presence. In you I

find safety, peace of mind. You help me lay aside my trails

I fix my heart on Your encouraging words of hope. I come

to You and listen to Your teachings. You are so gentle.

In You I find quietness and confidence. In You I find strength

and inner peace, You heal my emotional scars as You teach

me to forgive and let go. You  replace my wounds with well-

ness. I praise You for working wonderful miracles in me. You

are my Shepherd. You are the one who makes me whole---

physically, spiritually, and emotional scars as You teach me

to forgive and let go. Thank You for encouraging  me to appre-

ciate my life. You help me to value the rain and rainbows; the

    pride of hard, bone-tiring; the chance to kiss a scraped knee;

sit beside a sick child or helping a friend even when I hurt. Lord

be with all in need of you comfort and rest. Help me to see the

rainbow even before my storms. I love You Lord. Amen

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let

    it be afraid. John 14:27

    Seek His face evermore!

    Remember His marvelous works which

    His wonders, and judgments of

JO so nicely put. When my mom died I ws devastated(only 9), but knew that she was in heaven and no longer suffer cancer. Same when my grandma died of ALZ, she died shortly after meeting my newborn son, her journey on earth was done, she had raised her grandchildren(my brother, sister and me) and we were all set in our lives, so she could go home to God.

Bless these lovely ladies dear Lord.
