Father, occasionally we face so many demands that

we don't know which way to turn. We frequently pour

everything we have to offer into other people and situa-

tions, and we go beyond  our abilities. This is one of

those times, Lord, Some of us are so burned out.Hear us O

Lord, As we share our hearts and minds with You.

Thank You for identifying with our every concern. We

recognize Your voice speaking to our hearts, How we

love Your calming words, We open our bible and ask

for guidance. We dive into Your spiritual living fountain,

You wash away our  unwanted attitudes, You soothe

our anxious minds. The presence of Your Holy Spirit

wraps around us like a comforting blanket. Here, We

rest and feel secure. We drink from Your well that

never runs dry. You pump energy and joyfulness into

us. Thank You for Your spiritual living fountain, Thank

You for restoring our souls. Amen

    Father,

please help us all remember here on BCO, that in order to heal and see that you are healing and helping us.... we have to help ourselves. We have to really have faith. We have to know.

I pray for all of our intentions. For all our sisters here... and those we do not even know dealing with cancer!

    Love you ladies!!!! (((((hugs))))))

Dear Father,  When the things of this world crushed in and caused us

to crumble, You carried us, Father. When we poured out our troubles to

others and could find no one to really understand, You carried us. When

we faltered and lost our way and struggled to put one foot in front of the

other, You were the one that carried us. Now we know not to lean on our

own abilities. Although our friends and loved ones are dear, You are the

One we can completely depend on. We no longer try to be strong, for our

strength lies in You. Thank You, dear Lord, for stooping down and picking

us up in Your loving arms, and caring us. Thank You for helping us to never

give up. No matter the circumstances, We praise You for being with us and

showing us the way. When we are unable to see around the next bend and

wonder if there really is a light at the end of the tunnel, Your light leads the

way. We praise You, Father, for still carrying us.  Someday these troubles

and trails will be over, We look forward to that day when You carry us once

more to be with You in heaven. In the meantime Father, We will keep trusting

serving, and leaning on You.Thank You Father, We all love You Lord. Amen

Thank You, Dear Father, For never leaving us alone. No

matter where we are or what circumstances we face, We

are confident You are there with us----helping, guiding us

each step of the way. Each time oppositions comes, prompt

us to face them without fear and trust You to work things out.

Some frustrating situations happen around us, But others occur

within our hearts. When the answers don't come easy as we

would like them, Help us turn to Your Word for guidance and

assurance from You. Some of us huge needs and are hurting,

in need of Your comfort and encouragement. Please meet our

needs, Encourage our souls, And speak to our hearts. We will

trust in You, Lord. Thank You for loving us all and watching over

us. Bless all in need peace and rest. We ask in Jesus name. Amen

I don't know how I'm going to drag myself out of bed to do it, but the fall Sunday School curriculum for the ladies at my church is "Esther:  It's Tough Being a Woman" so I signed up to do it.  I think it'll be good for me.

The Power of Prayer Will Light Your Way

    Prayer is so simple.

It is like quietly opening a door

    and slipping into

    The very presence of God.

    There, in the stillness,

    To listen for His voice,

    Perhaps in petition

    Or only to listen,

    It matter not.

    Just to be there,

    In His presence,

    Is prayer.

I would love to read about Esther and want to do some more study on Mary and Martha. Know that I am still praying for all my bc sisters.  It seems life gets so mixed up sometimes it is hard to know what to do.  I have to admit lately I have made some decisions without praying first and putting God first and I am so sorry and question my decisions.  I have got to start putting God first and go to him with everything and get my life back of track.

I had a person tell me one time that is you are too busy to spend time with God, then your siimply too busy.  I have been very self centered lately and will be spending more time reading and meditating on the word of God and trying to put him first.

Oh Lord, know that I am a lowly sinner, I come to you by faith for forgiveness and salvation. Help me to understand what I need to do to do your will for me.  Please protect, help, and heal all my bc friend.  Jane, JO, Patoo, mmm5, hollyann, celia, kbugmom, Mary22, Deborya, footprintangel, EWB,ljh58, jazzy girl, estepp and Arnie2two.  Be with them and their families give them strength, courage, and wisdom.  I accept Jesus Christ into my life again.  thank you sweet Jesus. Amen

One thing to add is that I feel I have been praying a lot lateley but it is so important that when we pray that we let it go and know it to be done, that we pray with exacting faith. I need to work on this just pray and let go and trust, pray and let go and trust.

Any words of wisdom on the trust and faith piece are helful, we all know prayers but can we release with strong faith? I know that is my biggest struggle and continue to climb that challenge.

    Hi everyone.

Thanks so much for the prayers (those that have said them for me).  I'm finally starting to feel so much better.   I still need some energy but praying that comes soon too.

It feels so good to not be going to a Dr. constantly.  My next appt is the 23rd and it's just to see how I'm doing on the Tamoxifen.  I can handle that.  No more scans until Nov!!!  Kinda makes me feel like life is somewhat normal now.  I will be having surgery to remove my other breast.  But that's when I want it...... God has been so good to me........

I love reading your prayers........they bless my heart so much.........thanks for taking the time to type them out and share them with us.

    God bless you all.......love ya!

Dear Father, Stresses of this world constantly furry around me. We

confronted with discord. Some of these things don't have to do with

us dircectly, Lord, But family and friends in need. We lay them down

before You and watch Your work. We bring our loved ones to You in

prayer, Remembering the countless miracles You have performed for

each person causes our faith  to increase. How we praise You for

honoring prayers we constantly lift to You on Your behalf of those

around us. We don't always have the answer. Tests and challenges

don't dictate Your plans for the future. You are in charge. We bring

our concerns to You, Dear Father, You never, never fail us. You are

the Way, the Truth and the Life. Thank You for helping us to keep

trusting in You to lead us along Your paths. We praise You for being

near us all the time, in all circumstances, anywhere. Thank You Lord, Amen

Just beautiful JO, what a wonderful reflection, I have toremember this as well.

I  have some other thoughts that I will write about later tonight, trying to get away for Holiday weekend. Thanks for taking the time to share your amazing insights.

    Thanks JO.

I think we can all relate.  The trials and challenges are always upfront and so we focus on that.  The things we have overcome become overshadowed so we have to always do just what you did and pull them up from our subconscious and thank God again for what He has done.

I thank God also that He knows my heart and that I am really thankful for all He has brought me through, but I also know that is not always enough to know that He knows - I have to continually give Him the glory.

So, Lord, again, I give you all the glory and praise your very name - THANK YOU, JESUS!

Everyone, have a great, safe, weekend.

JO-5 Thank you!  I have been struggling with anxiety and a roller coaster of emotions..I know I have sooo much to be thankful for and so many praises for God but was in a pitt I couldn't seem to pull out of...Your post hit home...I thought I must be failing in my relationship to God because as many times as I give my anxiety to God, I seem to pick it right back up again.  He knows my heart and loves me still!
