Debbie - in every beautiful prayer I hear your pain. Your acceptance and your serenity are examples to us all.  I pray this day that the Good Lord blesses you and places His healing hands upon your head.  I really do pray that the doctors find some way to stop the pain.  Love and hugs.

To all of you, Armywifemom, Crunchypood, Estepp, Genia, Inolia, Ivorymom, Jane, Jo, kbugmom, Mary, mmm5, Patoo, Saint, Selya, Spar and all the other sisters on this very special prayer circle.

To all brave soldiers and their families, I pray for peace.

O Precious Lord, You are everything to us, Thank You

that we can walk each moment with You and not have

to figure out on our own. And when we come to a dark

time, We put our hand in Yours and we depend on You

as we walk together. (If God knows your thoughts(Psalm

94:11), Your heart(Samuel 16:7) When youstand or sit

down(Psalm139:2) ,and how many hairs you have on

your head, (Matthew 10:30) Then He knows where you

are every moment. He sees your circumstances, Just

because you can't see anything ahead doesn't mean He

can't, He is all you need.)For in Your presence we will

find all that is needed, To keep fighting cancer and win.

Lord help us to embrace the moments  with You and

remember we are never alone. Give us strength, health,

wisdom and faith for our journey. We all trust You to keep

us on Your path and help to win. Be with and comfort, Genia

Patoo, kbugmom, armywifenmom, Ivorymom, Jo, Spar, Selya,

CrunchyPood, Inolia, Jane,mmm5, Mary, Estepp, kmccraw423

And all the other wonderful prayer people here, Thank You Lord

for giving us this extra family that cares. We love You and thank

You for all You have given us. In Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen

The Buzzard, the Bat and the Bumblebee

THE BUZZARD: If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is
entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be
an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight
from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is
its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for
life in a small jail with no top.

THE BAT: The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkable nimble
creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on
the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, no
doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can
throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.

THE BUMBLEBEE: A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there
until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at
the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near
the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely
    destroys itself.

PEOPLE: In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee.
We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing
that all we have to do is look up!

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our
    GOD who loves us.

Today is God's gift, that's why we call it the present.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.......God is SO good!

Hi all you wonderful ladies that love the Lord! I just wanted everyone to know that I come to this thread daily and read your prayers. I have to tell you I appreciate all of them. I just love that you remember our troops daily! Your prayers are just precious to me.

Gena, I too loved your analogy!

Jane, your story was absolutely great. I try everyday to have that attitude of gratefulness (I do fail some days) but when I do they are my very best days.

I do pray daily for all of us here. I don't know where I would be without the Lord in my life!!!

Love and Blessing to all Kiss. Have a very grateful day!!!!

On TV the other night one character said "I'm an atheist" and the second character said "really?" and the first character said "God's truth!"  I cannot even imagine a life without God.  What's the point without faith?

May the Lord bless and keep you - all my love.

Genia - I am in writing.  I've had articles published in Brio magazine and Brio and Beyond magazine (published by Focus on the Family) and now this magazine.  I have written personalized children's stories which I have sold on e-bay and I currently have another children's story with an illustrator that I will be submitting for publication if she ever gets it back to me!

I have another article/essay I have written on raising a "special child" that I'm looking to market.  I just haven't decided what magazine(s) I am going to submit it to.

Of course, I work my two "real" jobs to put food on the table.  Freelance writing isn't going to get me very far!

O Lord, Thank You that You are our defender.

You are more powerful than any plan the enemy

has against us. Thank You that You will never

leave or forsake us, and that You are always strong

in our behalf. " I will lift up my eyes to the hills---

from whence comes my help?  My help comes

from the Lord, who made the heaven and earth."

(Psalm 121:1-2). No matter what happens, I will

look to You to deliver me from the hand of all that

opposes me. I know that because I put my trust in

You, You will be my shield(Proverbs 30:5). And

I will not fear what man can do to me. "Lead me,

O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my

enemies; make Your way straight before my face"

(Psalm 5:8). In myself I don't see what it take to

establish a formidable defense. I cannot protect

myself and all I care about from the weapons of

my enemy. But my enemy"s strength is nothing

to You. And no weapon formed against me shall

prosper(Isaiah 54:17). I know You have armed me

with strength for the battle and will keep me safe

Psalm 18:39). Help me to "cast off the works of

darkness and..........put on the armor of light"

(Romans 13:12)  Cause the song of deliverance

to our hearts and we will sing praise to Your glory

as You fight the battles for us. We will walk with

You through the enemy's attack, knowing that Your

light on our paths signals our victory. As we work

to win, Please be with us. We know You are always

helping us to stay at peace and comfort.  Be with

and bless, Genia, Jo, Patoo, Mary,mmm5, kbugmom,

    Shar, armywifenmommy, kmccraw423, Jane, Saint.

Dearest Lord in Heaven, I lift up all my sisters to you this evening.  Give them rest as they walk this journey.

For Kbug, Lord, I ask that you give her an extra portion of your unending mercy.  Heal her body and rid it of the cough.  Calm her fears and let her know that You are in control and ever watching over her.

For Foots, we thank you for this sister Lord who stands in the midst of us all with unending prayer.  Touch her, dear Father, release her body from the pain and let her doctors find the reason for her health issues and alleviate them.

For Spar, we ask that you give her comfort during her month-long of bed rest ordered by the doctors.  Help her to have patience during that time.

Continue to touch JO and keep her on her feet, dear Lord.  We know you dislike "clumsy" Tongue outso please give inanimate objects the ability to get out of her way.  (sorry, my silly side also comes out in prayer!)

For all my sisters here, Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for each and every one of them.   They are all so precious and definitely a light in our lives.

    Amen, and amen.
