Dear Heavenly Father,
I add my voice to sweet Footprintsangel and all others who pray with us, through reading or writing, for You promised that where two or more are gathered in Your name, You shall be there.
Our disease is insidiously devious. At a cellular level, there is a hard wired mission to intelligently kill. The thief of our health is the Adversary. On an emotional level, it is a battlefield. Some are fortunate and left unscathed. Others have to adjust to a "new normal" from long term side effects. Lives are put on hold for some because there is no promise of an Earthly future, just day to day living of coping, and preparing for an eternal future with God.
Some win battle after battle, and walk triumphantly as victors. The level of fear, hope, despair, sheer terror, grief, joy from good news, and deep mourning tests our humanity, and our relationship with our Creator.
Some may lose their lives, but through their anguished cries to God, have developed a relationship with His son, Jesus, and will have eternal life. The flesh may die, so that the spirit may live forever in Paradise.
Lord Jesus, may You comfort us in our afflictions. You are the great Healer. Always with praise for Your goodness, and thanksgiving for our very lives and all You have done for us, may we continually petition You in prayer for Your loving comfort, Your healing, and Your peace and grace.
May we celebrate every victory for our BCO sisters with them, and grieve and comfort those in a state of distress and mourning.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for turning our trials and tribulations into buried treasure, for where there is great pressure, coal will turn into diamonds. You do not waste our lives in futility, but just as a pebble is thrown into a still lake, ripples go forth and touch other lives for goodness and Your glory.
Our paths are not our own. Your plans for Your children are good. What better plan than eternal salvation? No one can add an hour to their life by worrying. Matthew 6:27. This fallen world is full of trouble and turmoil, as well as reflections of Your goodness, beauty, and peace. Even a smile on our dying day is a pebble thrown into a still lake, rippling towards others with Your goodness. Even a last gesture reflecting Your Godly character is held and treasured.
Our Adversary intends harm. But God can turn it around for good, to advance His kingdom.
Our afflictions deepen the well of our hearts, which is the Living Water of You, Lord. Please give us the strength to endure the walk through the valleys of our lives, shadowed in darkness by the mountains that overwhelm us. Your Word promises that affliction, when endured in faith, leads to hope.
What greater treasure than hope? Not only for this life, but for our Heavenly eternal lives, promised to us through Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 45:3
We are Your treasure, Lord. We have been made into jewels in darkness, by great pressure our endurance of our afflictions created. We are Your pearls, created by overcoming the irritants, as an oyster is irritated by sand and forms a pearl.
We love you, Lord. Thank you for answered prayers. I add my voice for all the women lifted up in prayer that You may comfort, guide, and heal them. May you hear all the silent prayers of those who pray with us, also. May they be wrapped in Your everlasting peace.
