Dear Heavenly Father,
Please be with those who mourn at the thought of leaving their loved ones behind, for those that will soon lose their beloved or have already been separated from them, and those that suffer and grieve in their condition.
Everything is temporary here on Earth, including suffering, but Your salvation, Your light that envelopes us with love we have never experienced to its fullest extent And radiant glory yet, await us.
You promise to dry every tear, and what has passed will come no more.
Whether we wake up in heaven or another blessed day that You have made for us here, Your promise is Joy.

Dear Heavenly Father,
There are so many that doubt Your love. When I was in college, my astronomy teacher, after teaching a lecture on the physics laws governing the universe, laws of perfect order and design, dismissed the class with, "If there is a design, is there not a Designer?"
My father, who waffled between the polite euphemism of agnosticism and atheism, glared at me silently as I repeated what my instructor had said. Of all that I learned in a university, this statement was most memorable.
He abhorred commercials of the African famine in the early 1980's, showing children starving, with bloated bellies and flies in their eyes, commercials asking for help and relief from this famine. He immediately changed the channel. He would say how could there be a God when there were so many starving children in the world. Lord, I was so young, and I knew that some of famine was caused by the corruption of governments, and other wealthy countries stripping other lands of their strongest workers and resources. But I didn't have a complete answer.
My father did not understand that You had initially created a perfect world. Yet, also You had created a perfect angel, Lucifer, a supremely beautiful and wise angel of extraordinary bearing. His beauty and wisdom rose conceit and iniquity in him, and he wanted to be worshipped like God of the Most High. Isaiah 14:14 " I will ascend above the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."
He was hurled from Heaven to Earth for his wickedness, and took a third of God's angels with him, who did not want to worship God, who are Lucifer's legion, who do his bidding. " His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky, and flung them to the Earth" Revelation 12:4.
You created humankind with free will. From the very first generation, mankind has given into temptation, defying Your ordinances, and even the very first offspring had jealousy that sprung forth into murder with Cain slaying Abel.
You told Adam, "Cursed is the ground because of you." Genesis 3:17.
From the beginning, mankind's hearts harbored wickedness. In Genesis 6:6, it is written, " The Lord regretted making human beings on the earth, and His heart was deeply troubled."
There is a grand plan for reconciliation between God and humanity: it is salvation through Jesus Christ, the Messiah. No one comes to the Father but through Him. John 14:6
Through Him comes a new covenant, relieving us from the severity of the laws of Moses and unmerciful consequences for disobedience. We are saved by the grace and sacrifice of Jesus, who allowed His blood to be spilled for our atonement. He was the perfect sacrifice, an unblemished Lamb. Before Him in the Old Testament, a living animal sacrifice had to be given before God for atonement.
Christ Jesus will come again to Earth, but in His full glory, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. God's ultimate plan is written: a new Heaven and a new Earth. Revelation 21:1 The Trinity of Satan: The Beast, the Anti-Christ, and Satan, will be hurled into the lake of fire forever. Revelation 20:10.
Jesus was offered up as the perfect sacrifice for the salvation of mankind. Just as Abraham was told his seed would be a blessing for all the nations, so it is that the Jewish Messiah would be for the salvation for all the nations of the world.
Through Jesus, He gave us a new commandment:
My father never gave a single cent to any relieving charity at all, even for the starving children, although he was well able. He had no love, because he had hate and bitterness that grew from a harsh childhood, one where he and his siblings would be punished by a cruel legalistic Lutheran father if they played in the garden on a Sunday. That is not You, Lord. That is mankind doing evil, and blaspheming by doing it in Your name.
Lord, You have filled my heart with love, Your love, for the poor, the disadvantaged, the voiceless, the sick, the dying, the disabled, and especially children. One way You have filled it, making my vessel stronger, has been through suffering and afflictions, deepening my empathy and compassion.
One of my girls I now sponsor in Nicaragua, Shirley, is having a birthday soon! Although I have taken a leap of faith in sponsorship for two girls, the other one named Brianny, I know that You will always provide. I lift them up to you, to call them into Your fold, and care for them all the days of their lives. Many children in the most impoverished corners of the Earth, will receive Your Christmas blessings this year, as you have provided a way for me to squirrel away gifts for a Christian ministry named Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas all year long, where they will receive gifts in a shoebox, and the message of the salvation of Christ. They also get biblical lessons, so the seed of faith planted in them may grow. I say this not to boast, but it is Your work through me, and in obedience to Your word:
I pray to you, Jesus for the salvation of the women here: cured, in treatment, or living their last days on Earth. Let no bitterness, doubt, anger, denial, sin, or stubbornness separate You from them. For the saved, the souls You call children of God, Your grace is more than sufficient, Your love all encompassing, Your peace surpassing all understanding.
