Sierra, loved the 10 rules for tough times, very true.
deb, love your pictures
Sahalie, I see the dreaded red x, oh no.
My son will be here in another hour or so and am very excited. I wonder if Moms are always excited to see their kids when they only get to see them 2 to 3 times a year. I always feel like it is such a blessing. He said something about buying me a phone where we can see each other when we talk. That would be cool. It is so hot and humid there today.
God Bless all the branches of the armed services that protect us and give of theirselves daily

Dreamwriter. How about some of your great writings.
Thinking of you and hope each day is smoother sailing for you.
Spar. When I looked back I could see the picture.
Sometimes the pictures are like the crazy phone signals. Here one minute. Then gone.

Beautiful pix. I like the ones where you take them and they have that personal feeling. I cant share mine yet.... but I will learn. I just got some wedding pix that a relative gave me... boy did I have incredible legs!

Sahalie, that pic you posted reminds me of when we lived in AZ. I love the desert. So starkly beautiful. You are going on a retreat? Cool!

It would be cool to go on a retreat. I never can imagine what we would do there though except maybe hike and just enjoy nature. Maybe canoe rides, camping. sitting in yoga postitions and meditating, except I would have to have someone get me up.
edited to shrink picture and add I want to see your pictures dream and see those legs. My mom still has incredible legs and she is mid 70's.
All you mountaineers have a great weekend.
I have seen cactus jelly for sale, I wonder if its made from these kinds of cactus?

This is the most amazing tree I have ever seen.

Where was the tree... It seems to be more than an act of nature.... could it be photoshopped?

Sierra, sorry about your ankle, hope it gets well fast. We drove to Niagra falls one year but didn't get to go but that is a story for another time. This is just a quick check in, hope all is well on the mountain. this morning I saw black squirrels and brown one playing and eating the bird food. They would climb the pole of the bird feeder and scrape it all out on the ground, there are rabbits and birds all over the back yard. It is like a miniture paradise here on this island. Took the grandkids to swim in the ocean today. Found lots of sea glass which I will send pictures after I get home. God bless. hugs sherry

Gorgous pictures Lisa. I will post some pictures of my vacation after I get them developed. Have missed this mountain even though I have been through several different mountain ranges this past week.
The first 2 are in Virginia and the second in Tennesse. Edited to make pictures smaller. When I get my film developed will post pictures that I took.
Would love to read a story about sea glass Dream. I posted a picture of it on the craft thread.

Hello mountaineers, am getting ready to go to bed but wanted to say goodnight, sweet dreams and post a beautiful moon.

Good evening mountaineers, my computer has been down, they fixed it sort of but have to come back next week to fix it permanent. What a hot humid day this has been, its getting darkish now like it may rain. Need to set up an outdoor patio netting so the giant mosquitoes doesn't get to us. Everyone have a good evening. More tomorrow.
