Good afternoon mountain, it is still dreary and rainy so maybe some sunshine or sunflower pictures to cheer up the mountain side.

Sierra, is it raining where you are?  or beautiful sunshine?

Mary-Lou, hoping you are having a good day.

Deb, thank you for all your beautiful mountain pictures.

Biker, thank you for dropping in

Sahalie, are you still being too busy? How is the weather there?

Jaz girl, hope you are having a wonderful day.

Barns.  One of my loves.  I paint them.  The older and ramshackle the better.

We have many barns and chicken houses on our property.

When one falls down we use the wood to make things or repair siding on another barn.

It's fun to come across an old barn up in the mountains that was used by the sheep

herders or for shelter in years gone by.

What stories the Barns could tell.

Have a beautiful day to our friends near and far.

Triple digits here and I have to be out in it.  Ack.

    XOXO

Goodevening mountaineers.  Some lovely pictures.  I also love old barns, also the the barreness of the desert.  Love the cactus, does it flower on top?  Much prefer the mountains though, with the streams, boulders, hiking trails.  Finally got some time to check in tonight, have been busy getting ready for vacation.  Am taking several cameras, there are beautiful mountains in TN and Virginia.

The birds have been so noisy lately talking to each other, we were sitting outside watching the ducks and there was a red headed woodpecker pecking away at a tree, and crows talking to each other.

All the fruits are coming out in the stores, melons and watermelons and strawberries making me so hungry for them.  I hope all of our crops to good this year and hope the grapevines make lots of grapes to eat.

Lose yourself in pillows, blankets and magazines.

Daydream, nap, and daydream some more.

Wanted to stop by the mountain and soak up some rays hoping it will make me feel better, have been having flu like symptoms for 2 days now and has about done me in. But some Vit C from some oranges and lemons and some Vit D from some sun may be just what the dr. ordered.

Beautiful pictures Lisa, especially taken at 75mph.  You must have a really good camera.  I want one.  Is it digital?

Mary-Lou it is so good to see you, you just go on and explore that barn and I think I will walk with you. I bet it has a nice loft that we could jump out on hay.  OK, maybe not at our age but when we were kids.  I wonder if we could tie a rope to the rafters and swing out.

    Nite everyone.

Hi SIERRA  :  )  Raccoon's sure are full of ingenuity.

LISA of SoCAL.  What great pictures you are taking.
