I just lost my whole post. I hate it when that happens. I have to laugh at JO and patoo sitting on me, it would sure take you both. LOL
The appt did not go as I expected. The bone if forming the callous and does look a lot better but "something" showed up on the xray and will have to have a cat scan which is Tuesday. Waiting for test and results makes me very tense. thanks to all you ladies you make life so much more bearable. I love you guys and have enjoyed your good vibes and stories.
Spar was feeling very relaxed from drinking nnn's cider and smelling the peaceful scent of sandlewood, she asked nnn to put some more wood on the fire and noticed the flakes were getting bigger and bigger telling more and more stories from days gone past. The ones on the outside kept approaching slowly inch by inch wanting some of the joy and love they could see in our friendships. Yes, it is good.

spar- something was going on last night- I had a beautiful post, difficult to write because of DH interruptions and it went to cyber space just like yours.
I need to do some weekly shopping before the last minute Christmas shoppers get up- I will meet you all in the snow later today.

The sparks from the fire got bigger. Seemed like a special moment to just sit back, yes talk about the old days. Much smile and laughter was shared but there was a moment when we all needed silence and just listen to the world around us. The sounds of the animals of the night, even seemed as though the winds we speaking to us. Then it came, the beginning of daylight, a different world, a different scene. Spar looked up and saw a beautiful cardinal sitting on a snow covered branch and the cardinal was singing to her. Melissa first heard the sounds of the hoofs hitting the ground and then in the distance she saw the beautiful horses just dancing in the snow as they got closer and closer. And behind them was a huge carriage, off we went for a ride in this Winterwonderland. There was lots of room in and many of our friends we picked up along the way. Taking us for a ride that made us forget reality. Yes for a moment we were children playing in the snow.

Spar and friends were in winter wonder land, even on the ride we were toasty. We had lap covers and the closeness of our body warmth keeping us comfortable. We passed a white owl on a snow covered tree. He was hard to see but we saw and he brought great joy to us. He is a miracle and like he was our protector watching us closely. The horses were dancing and prancing through the snow covered roads, the lights reflected all colors on the snow as we continued our drive. We ended up at a frozen lake and we could choose to ice skate or just sit at some of the tables and drink hot chocolate and continue our visit.

The white owl told the cardinal to gather up all the forest friends he knew to come watch over us as we sat visiting- There was some magic as the hot coco was constantly filled no matter how much or how often we sipped from our cups- the coco would stay hot and refill. Forest animals began for form a wide circle around us, listening with curious delight- the Horses seemed to be communicating to the Little ones and they were comforted and moved in closer, chatter softly among themselves. They could sense that this was a place of no fear, pain, suffering or threat and where enjoying their visit as much as we were.
Spar wanted to skate- some of us, while supportive were doubtful that this was a good idea, but also feeling the engulfment of safety, off she went and we cheered her on- she was beautiful and graceful and we joined her on our figure skates, laughing and carefree.
After a long skate, We returned to our spot, exhilarated with joy, and had a little more coco- by a fire which had some how appeared. The wise owl sat High in the tree, nodding his approval of the days events. Even the shy bunnies had relaxed and were playing, rolling in the snow under the feet of this years new born deer. The world was at peace as the snow flakes began to drift down and the first stars peeked out to shine on the lake.

JO, no more adventures until dr.'s ok (and evidently my mother, she is perturbed at me for going) You can't be that much older that me. Are we gonna exchange ages. LOL (in private of course) No matter the age. I love and admire you dearly.
Melissa, you are so good at story telling as well as nnn you guys need to come over to the humor section and chip in on the story we are telling there. It is very interesting.
Patoo, yes there could have been but I was blessed and didn't get rehurt (on my head anyway)

Spar you are right, I haven't been here in a while. Too long. I remember cominghere right after you posted those beautiful pictures of the Christmas lights. I felt like I was on a real sleigh and those pictures took my mind to another place. So very pretty.
I love telling stories and will check out your story thread. Right now - yikes, I need to go wrap my husbands presents before he wakes up.

Some beautiful post and pictures and prayers and I so appreciate each one of you. Your all blessed friends. I have been in one of those valleys right now still wondering what I am suppose to learn from it all but I am sure it will be something good. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and than everyone will have a happy new year's.
This is Tom and I when I was still innocent and thought a snowmobile ride could be taken slowly and it was smooth and before the blizzard hit half way up the mountain.
