We all noticed that the hallway we were being directed to was lined with hand hewed stones from the mountain hillside- it was a lovely arch and we felt very good energy in the form of tiny vibrations- the floor was of hand laid cobblestone. Every few feet there was a natural stone shelf with a small candle burning- the strangest thing was we all smelled our favorite scent, mine was eucalyptus and spearmint- very interesting and we were again mystified about how this could happen. As we drew near the low light- s shimmering light green we were delighted to find ourselves in the most luxurious spa- Jacuzzi hot tubs with natural hot springs feeding each of them- massage attendants standing silently by - almost invisible and in no way attempting to become part of our group- they were ready to service us as silently as the big fluffy bath towels and robes. There was a steam room and a juice bar and time became suspended. We enjoyed the spa to the fullest extent and our energy and mood was completely refreshed. Some of us thought the little elderly guardian was looking less fatigued and possibly younger- most of us however just thought we had been tricked by the light as it was very soothing and dim.
Upon completing our spa we were ushered by our little mountain friend down in yet another direction- again the door we entered through had vanished and were lead off down a new hallway. This hall was was made in the same manner yet there was some aroma that relaxed us even more. We walked some distance when we came to the first bedroom, which was mine- I gasped as I looked in, as only I could have drempt such a perfect design for my personal desire.
The room was in a pie shape- the bed in the middle of the arch and and aginist the wall, there was some distance from the lovely arched stain glass windows that opened easily. The head of the bed was carved cherry wood and there was an actual Dogwood tree with limbs that reached over the bed in canopy style- each branch had an abundance of white and pink dogwood blossoms and it was heavenly to gaze up and see each and every flower. There were the smallest pin point lights with each flower which made the bed glow softly. I went to the window expecting to see the dead of night, hoping for stars- to my amazement there was a beautiful garden- just like mine at home- tomatoes in abundance, potato plants, corn, pole beans, asparagus, broccoli, each intermingled with flowers. There were two small rabbits nibbling at the edge of the yard as DH and I had planted a bate garden and one raccoon nibbling on a cantaloupe planted just for him. The watermelon vines were flourishing and the White owl was guarding the vegetable patch diligently. The right red and yellow pepper plants were in pots to the east and the blueberry plants surrounded the old original garden placed by the pioneer farmers who built the house. To the south you could see Honey Boy swishing flies with his tail and waiting for a carrot treat. The young pinto pony was still off being trained and Honey Boy did not mind that the child horse was absent for a spell. Far past the eastern yard you could hear the babbling brook and feel a cool breeze coming into the yard. The hydrangeas where in full bloom, pink, blue and big Snowball white blossoms hanging onto the stems, the petite deep violet iris with their yellow beards were sweet smelling and just a magnificent as the azaleas, which were pink and coral. There was a large patch of daisies of all colors and to the west there was a field of natural wild flowers. The most curious thing was that just past that boundary, it was night with the most beautiful stars shinning through.
As my gaze turned back to my room I could see that the dressing table and mirror where exactly like the one that sat in the upstairs north bedroom of my Aunt Florence- she was a terror but I have wonderful memories of playing with my cousins which the dressing table brought to mind. The bed was made with the softest sheets and had my mothers old quilt over the top and there on the night stand was my mothers jewelry box- once I opened it her smell saturated the room and was very comforting. Snacks and hot tea sat on the tea table and the light was soft, as I looked about there was a fainting sofa in plush pink with fringe all around the bottom- except for the color it was exactly like Great Aunt Blances' sofa. My sister and I played at Balance's feet and could do no wrong- it was wonderful. There on the tea table with my treats was a picture of my long lost mother and all 5 little girls in our nighties. Under the foot of my bed were my red cowboy boots that I wore when I was a child - what a treat, yet how could this be???? I wondered what my friends room held for their delight but would have to wait until the morning to hear their stories.

Today is a good day. Everything looks more positive.
Melissa turned off into her room and the next room was mine, the other girls went on down the hall until they got to their rooms. Oh my it was beautiful It was square except one whole wall was glass french doors, they had white lace sheers up. The room was painted a peaceful peach color. I had a white french provential bed king size with a peach and sage green spread. Out the french doors was a patio set up with a table, chairs, and vases of all my favorite flowers. My room smelled like peppermint which is my favorite smell, there was peppermint twist foam soap in my bathroom. I had a spa whirlpool tub that we could all fit in. I loved it. This is the perfect place to rest up and heal. There is a crystal bell that all you have to do is ring and someone will see what you need and get it for you. I wanted to see the other girls rooms.
Thank you all for being here for me and helping me climb out of my hole I was in, still climbing and am going to continue to climb.
Here are 2 pictures of the purple martin, beautiful bird
Melissa, you made me escape for a little while, loved your story and descriptions. Very nice.

Eating those sandwiches, I am famished. Looking for wild flowers and pretty rocks or unusal trees on the hike today. And of coarse any animals.

I saw an unusual thing a long time ago while climbing Mt. Blue in ME. There was an old barbed wire fence and a tree with the wire through the middle.

nnn woke up this morning and realized she had been away for so long she couldn't remember why she had this urge to describe her room. It was like taking a magical mystery tour as everything was designed from the 60"s generation. Peace, love, and happiness. She pondered at that thought for a moment and it somehow calmed her nerves. She had sandlewood insense burning and she could see her past in the smoke as it reached upwards towards the sky.
She stepped outside and the fresh had an aroma that one can't really describe. How does one describe fresh? It felt so good, she stretched her arms and followed the foot steps of those who walked up that beautiful place that Spar posted. She thought we are climbing a mountain but it was so easy.
So she smiled when she saw Spars second picture at it did indeed look like a magical mystery tour only this time the magic was all around her. She could see the fairies who were there to protect all of us and give us a respite from any sadness we might be feeling.
The magical well made her smile, standing on tip toes peaking she made a wish.Digging deep into her pockets she looked for a penny. None to be found, but then she saw Spars last picture and sure enough she left a magical penny appear. It certainly was a magical day.
