any animal running around with distemper is scary, hope the city takes care of the problem.  I always love posts from you sierra.

Deb, is that a maple tree draining syrup?  I have been thinking a lot about honey today, I love the taste, texture, and the color is glorious.

Yup, that's maple sap, With a ratio of about 40:1, it would take this large barrel full of sap to make two smaller jugs of syrup.

Hello mountain, I have missed you.  The peace and nature of the mountain walks.  One of my friends hunts and paints and takes picture of wild horses.  Lets see if we can find a few

I'm stopping in to say hello.   Have never been on this thread before, but Spar is here so I think I'll be showing up or if not lurking around a bit.  Just wanted you all to know it.  I'm on another blog and while they don't get upset about people "lurking" there, they feel like you may be shy and not ask for the help they would lovingly and willingly give.

I'm not shy, but beginning now and then to have some time constraints......so this is just to let anyone here know I AM here but just may not say much.  I have brought a friend with me today.

    Have a really wonderful day.

    Jackie

P.S. Hi to Chee-Chee and all the pictures are quite beautiful.

    I want that kitty. (^..^)

Not too often do you see 2 different color eyes.

I live in New England and we are underwater.  I lucked out, I don't have a basement.  But I did have a leaky bay window.

    Spar, R  U going camping??
