Yes, JO and we will be there with her someday.  It must have been magnificent.

Deb, she knows how much we love her.  I know she does.

Hey, hi back nnn.  Your right, I love gorellas, they are a special animal but then there are not many animals I don't like.  I don't know if they have those in Canada though.  Maybe we need to take a safari to Africa one of these days.

After eating sticky buns, singing, dressing up and playing with all the animals Spar was such a good tired.  When I opened the door to my room I was in awe, mine was like Melissas with 3 different walls but mine were scenes from places I had dreamed of visiting.  One wall was a jungle with dark trails, only a few bits of sunlight shined through the trees, monkeys were hanging from the branches, a lion and tiger were walking through, there were birds of all colors, on the other wall was china town and the great wall of chine, it looked so real you could actually step into it.  The other wall was niagra falls, you almost felt like you were getting wet standing next to it.  The 4th wall was glass over looking the beautiful garden of all colors and kinds of flowers.   I ran to Melissa's door and knocked and screamed for her to come see my room but when I opened her door I was in awe and had to inspect her room first.  It had me wonderfing what everyones rooms looked like but it seemed they were asleep and would have to wait to satisfy my curiosity.  I took Melissa to see my room and someone had left a pot of tea and little cakes for us.  We sat and visited for a while talking about all of our adventures then we got to tired we couldn't keep our eyes opened.  melissa wondered back to her room and i climbed in my beautiful bed and fell instantly into a dreamless sleep.

I would like to come join you on the mountain but I think I will wait until the spring thaw! I've seen plenty of real life snow to last me awhile.

I'm not sure I get the gist of the story writing I only skimmed the last few pages and I'm not quite sure if your stories are a continuing  saga or  separate story lines. I'll understand what you're doing when I come back in the early spring.

Lovely native American pictures! I think there is a mystique surrounding that culture that makes us all curious as to their traditions. I know most of us have some Indian blood running through our veins. There is a woman on one of the other sites who writes short stories and facts directly from an excellent childrens book about their traditions that is very easy to understand.

This thread about the mountains is a very nice diversion from the every day worries surrounding breast cancer. Also, it seems to be a very nice group of ladies who care about one another.

Welcome annie, the mountain is peaceful and relaxing, glad you visited us.  You are always welcome.  the story telling is just an escape and using our brains and imagination just for fun.  Not something anyone has to do or even often.  It is just fun sometimes to make up stuff. LOL.

the sunny day pictures of the desert should warm ya up some.

it will be valentines day soon so think I will begin on some valentine treat pictures.

"We have only one air, one water, one mother earth."

Corbin Harney, spiritual leader of the Western Shashone

The mountain is a wonderful place.  You can bring your dreams and drift away to a land that comes from your imagination.  Even when you drift away, when you return you feel right at home with visions of running through a vally fill with Sunflowers.  Feeling the warmth of the sun beating down on your face somehow making you feel that everything is OK.

Sierra, so good to hear from you.

    Deb, love the unicorn picture.

Happy day on the mountain, hope all is well with all you mountaineers.

Spring is just around the corner, it is dark and dreary here today, suppose to rain today and tomorrow. Need some sunshine pictures.
