Hey girls, just checking in real quick. Exhautsted! Works so hard the week before surgery and then it was canceled. Sp having a bed rest day! Will catch up tomorrow, hope you all are doing well.

O2bhealthy, so happy that your new perky self looks great!! Tough one to decide where to stop. I played with my bras at home as I had different sizes and did a lot of staring. Have fun shopping! By the way, I love you new look!

Pantufas, Always funny! LOL. I have my surgery moved till the 20th and I was suppose to pick up my sausage on the 22nd. I am going to let them keep her a few more days so I can get some healing in. Already went baby shopping, my cat dragged all the new puppy toys out. Guess they will learn to share, lol. How are you feeling?
Malleam, how did you surgery go? I do the same thing, clean my house before surgery. Makes you feel better when you get home. Congrats on being smoke free.

Nobleanna, I didn't get my new nipple, surgery was canceled so it didn't stick! Taking that next leap is hard but you can do it. Grab a patch and put it on!!!Perhaps baby steps as a time, you for a few hours, etc. Wish you luck!!!
Funny on how you all went through withdraws with no internet. Mine is finally fixed but it sure was frustration when it wasn't working. Well I am still tired, going to put in a short work day and get caught up on rest!

Happy Friday ladies. I wish you all a wonderful smoke free weekend. I have to admit, I have still been smoking, but less that I use to, if that means anything. Send some good vibes my way for my job interview on Monday. I wish it had insurance (it does not) but the extra money will give us some breathing room since our COBRA is about to jump to $1200 a month.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend and I hope that all those feeling crummy get a slight hiatus against the sickness.

Yo ladies, like the summer here this year, not as hot!!! I am still smoking but keeping it down. Can't seem to find the courage to make another date. We need a real magic pill. Maybe I'll name my dog Puffer.
Fifsh, Good luck on your job interview! I can't believe how much your COBRA is. I am paying about $248 for humana. That is just not right. I think that medical and education should not be soooo expensive.

I don't know the situation with Candie but from what I read in other posts,she is not doing too well. So I will pray for her and the rest of us. It can't hurt.
I pray for the world and everyone in it so I know I haven't missed anyone but if you haven't posted in a while, I like Janzin, wish you could so we know you are all okay. If you need us, you know we are here.

Hi Everyone, got behind reading the postings. We went on a mini trip for a few days and then when we got home reality was still waiting for us. I am not smoking and its been 11 or 12 days smoke free. Seems I am behind in Face-book, emails and everything. Will try and get caught up.
My hair is growing fast all of a sudden. The thing that I am not liking is the hair looks dark (thats cool) but the patterns of growth makes my scalp look like its dirty. Gee why am I complaining? Its real hair and not a wig~~~yippee! Still looking like a rainbow. One crazy patch of dark hair in the front/side and it looks like a man who has tired to glue a fake mustache on...real funny looking.
Well I am mentally pooped out so I think a nap is in order.
I hope everyone is doing great. And for those going through chemo, lean on us we are here for you.

Hi All!! It is finally happening...hair is falling out in droves. Luckily, I have a thick head of hair...even with a buzz cut. The worst part is the itchy scalp and trying to figure out what form of head covering to use in the near future...will probably go commando except for at work.
Thank you Pantufas for sending instructions on how to tie a scarf...have dozens of scarfs just don't know what to do with them
I have two short hair dogs and three cats...cannot tell who is shedding more...me or them...

Hi Ladies, funny how the weekend gets slow. Working on my paper work this weekend, uggghhh! My ex would have all the files in no order but I guess he remembers where they are at. Me......I have to have them in Alphabetic order. I hate doing this but needs to be done, especially since I am adding another business. Saw my ex at the fights last night, his eyes soften up when he sees me. We will always care about each other as friends even though his new girlfriend doesn't understand that, and she is jealous where we can't be friends. But her ex can baby sit, go figure.
Nadine, I forgot to address you in my last post but you were in my mind. In fact I was going to add you in and I did something and then pooof, memory gone. Hate being so forgetful. Sorry to hear about your hair but it sounds like it's coming in strong so that is a good sign. What do they say, about half an inch a month or more. Can't remember. I use the Nioxn and my hair seems thicker. Miss you and glad you are back, will poke you in FB.
O2bhealthy, how are you feeling. You all are so brave going through chemo and quitting smokes. Maybe we could take all the hair and make a giant bc pillow and action it on ebay. You never know what people will buy there lol. Well I think you and Nadine are beautiful, sending hugs and kisses. Planted pineapples so I will make you a very rich lady tomorrow!
Pantufas, I just want to squeeze you to death!!! You have a way of bringing fun and love to this posts. Everyone is sooo awesome here that I am lucky to have BC and got the chance to meet you all. Sounds like a crazy thing to say but that is how much you all mean to me. Can't wait for the puppy to come home, already went baby shopping.

O2: I am thinking of you while your hair is falling out. On head coverings I got carried away and bought all kinds of things. I found what helped me through that process was I was creative in how I tied scarves and other head coverings. I figured no hair I was at least going to be stylish. My scalp is growing hair fast, my peach fuzz is turning into real hair. I have so many different lengths and the colors are a little of everything I think. At least now I can see real hair and don't need a magnifying mirror. And finally my hair is soft.
I agree with you Janet...getting BC has brought such wonderful ladies to my life and friendships that will last. I only wish I could meet everyone in person.

Janzin, I like "Puffer"....or you could call her "Toker" (but people would think you were a stoner...BAHAHAHAHA). I wouldn't be able to get any work done with that little sausage around. I would just sit and play with her all day. SO sweet.
Way to go Nadine, way to stay off the smokes. I am so glad to hear your hair is growing back, even if it is a rainbow.

Have a wonderful Sunday. It rained all day yesterday but I woke up today to beautiful sunshine and dew hanging off the cypress trees.......awesome. I have to admit, I enjoyed the view with coffee and a smoke (sorry...:-( ) I am just so thankful for simple pleasures these days.

Hi my beautiful BCBF/K ladies! Working today but I work most days for at least 4 hours, but usually more. Playing the lotto, hope we win!!!! We will do some many good things with that money. My heart has grown larger since BC, and I have all of you to thank for it too.
Nadine, would love to see some scarf pictures, bet you look great! How are you feeling though? Any news on your insurance? I believe vitamins work, just takes awhile to get in your system. Try it for a couple of month. I took pregant vits once because I heard it was so good for you skin, nails and hair. Freaked out my ex when he found them on the counter after 2 months of our break up, lol.
FIfish, always make me smile and laugh. Yeah, between FB and Puffer, I will have my work cut out for me. I would of loved to have a morning coffee with you. You made it sound so beautiful, I can almost smell the fresh air. Love the simple pleasures, especially since I can get pretty wound up and forget to stop to smell the roses. I bring the chocolates!
O2Bhealthy, hope you are having a grist week. Looking for you as I have a lot of harvesting to do. But there is always the future for my farm bud. If I can get Nancy to play, this one harvest will make her rich. Fun to be rich somewhere in you life, even if it is a silly game lol.
Pantufas, was thinking about you as my cat reaches out to touch me. He sometimes sits on the top of my computer chair and keeps poking me with his paws to let me know he is there, funny. You all know how we rally round when one of us is down. Well we need to send endurance vibes to our gals in chemo or any who might be having rads, healing vibes to our gals who have or are about to have surgery and courage and strength to all of us. Also, King Midas for those ( Janet for instance ) who have greedy, skin-flint a@@hole ex's who aren't satisfied to ruin us while being married to us but want to continue afterwards. It really shows how deluded they are with their new honey pies because they can't live without taking from us. Anyway, Nancy and Pat have both had their say so Susan will add. "STOP THE INSANITY"
How are we all doing with the smokes? I have 68 days down but I know a lot of you are doing better and a lot are trying to cut down or quit. I thought I would have to take up smoking again just trying to learn to play Farm Town of FB. Janet is a great teacher but it's like dealing with a slow witted child. I have no short term memory. So as soon as I learn something it's gone and I can't tell my a@@ from a hole in the ground . All I know is you put seeds into one of them.
Nads, my dear. You have Snidely Whiplash on the side of your head and I have a questionj mark on top of my head. I really think we need to do a fashion show for bc sufferers and call it "stages." To include everything we go through.

o2b, I forgot to tell you. You can double or triple the scarves to match more colors. Just place the second and third one about an inch back from the first and treat them like one scarf.
Better go before Pat decides to make another appearance and starts telling o2b to start tying them around her neck. Now that would make a great "dead pic." God help me, it's time to sign off!

Hi Ladies, still bumming out but determine to make the best out of things. My cpa called me this morning and was wondering about a 1099 from my ex for a little over $40,000. This what I should of been paid from Jan 2008 to Nove 2008. Thing is that even though he paid the bills and food, etc. I did not have a bank account. If I did, I could of put money away for taxes. So add that to my debts along with BC. It just doesn't seem right.It would be different if I got paid the $40,000 and spent it all. I don't even mind paying the taxes as it is only fair that I do, I just have a problem with never having a bank account to put away that money. Anyways, feel sick to my stomach. What a F_cker! Oooops, was that me??? Well I hope you all are doing better than me. I had some fun playing Farm Town with Pantufas, she was so cute walking around my farm. Now to get Nadine playing as she has the invite!

Janet I think I will try the vitamins I have some from the second to last time I cut my hair shorter and wanted the long hair back again. I say we should kick our ex's right square....well we all know where, and again for good measure. I tried to play the farm game once and had no idea what to do. I need help. Darn I was going to call you. Sorry. On the insurance topic lets say there won't be any. TIGHT WAD won't give in, cheap. I would like to add him to the list of ex's and kick him there also. Anyway it looks like hubby is the one getting screwed the worst since he has been there longer. The other employees had lower wages and so forth and nothing is being taken away from them since all they have is their wages, and the PRIVILEGE to work there. I told DH that I felt they was trying to get him to quit which in turn they could hire someone for far less and save money. So in the last email it came across that way, "If your unhappy, then quit". DH does love his job but hates the sudden drama...and for sure won't quit.
Well I hope everyone having chemo and treatments are doing well. I think of you all every day and am so glad you are all in my life...my life feels complete with you all in it. A true sisterhood.

Just checkin in before I get ready for work. Janet, Nancy, Pat and Susan expressed my feelings to a tee! And, I am a full fledged member of having an ex club so I hear ya loud and clear. Life can be so unfair sometimes...a lot of the times for us without the resources we USED to have! I am so very sorry you are going through this. No one gets it that cancer is bad enough! I do hope today is a better day for you. As long as you don't wake up with a terrible hangover, it WILL BE!
By the way, that farmtown seems to be a hot facebook game. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for me,,,the addict remember?), I am not a computer game player. So no matter how much I beg, DO NOT encourage me to take part! I'll lose my friggin job!! I can see it now: "Oh, I'm sorry that you didn't get your travel reimbursement, I've been busy acquiring cows!"
Anyway, since we are all such good friends now, I don't find it necessary to HAVE to chat about my smoking. I'm not giving up...at least not forever. I WILL kick this habit when I have enough of the fight in me. And that time WILL come when I don't feel pressured to have to do it. No doubt about it, I am a die hard...and a very stupid one at that. As the philosopher Popeye did say: "I yam what I yam!"
Well, time to get in the shower. Just wanted to "stop in" and make sure y'all don't forget me now!
Congrats a MILLION times over to those of you who have acquired time as non smokers! You sooooooooooooooooooo deserve a HUGE pat on the back. I admire your grit like you wouldn't believe!
