Okay, have another one. True story and really really embarrassing. When I first started smoking in high school, me and a couple of friends snuck down to this restaurant to smoke. Well I just learned how to smoke pot and got high for the first time. So I smoke that cig just like a joint. I went into the restaurant because I had to pee and everything started getting darker and darker. Then wham, hit the doors that leads into the kitchen and passed out. On top of passing out I peed my pants. I did not go back to class, I was so sick, sitting there sweating, and laid there for quite a while before I walked home. Even skipped out on dinner. And you think that would of been the time I quit smoking FOREVER. What an @ss I am.

Now I have really bonded with you all because that one is one you keep to yourself. Cigs are a powerful drug! I think I would of rather wave a tampon in the air and puff on it, lol.

    Let's kick the habit!!!

OMG Love the tampon/cig stories...I cannot tell you how many times I have done that!!  My favorite party trick was I use to carry $$ & cig lighters in my bra and it was such second nature that I if saw someone needed a light, I would reach in my bra and whip that lighter out quick as a flash...it would lite up quick too cause it was always pre-heated from body heat Surprised

OK... pantie hose...I did that once on a day I didn't wear under ware because of dreaded pantie lines...so not only was my dress tucked in my hose but my bare a$$ was clearly visible...thank goodness I was in my twenty's and still had a great BUTT!

Cleomoon - good for you...being bald is pretty freeing once you get over the initial shock!  I went to my aunts 60th B-day party yesterday and it was HUGE party so I made my family and friends debut...and I didn't smoke...and 80% of my family smokes!!!

Chemo #2 down today...I am a lot spacer then the first time - new SE with heartburn too - got a BAD leg cramp on my nightly walk and hubby had to run home to get the car and drive me home...NO FUN!   Otherwise feeling ok...

Hope everyone has a great night...sweet dreams!

malle, it's nice to know that you, Michelle and I have all shown our a@@es!  Poor Janzin, on the hard floor, passed out.  Mum always said if you smoked when you were too young, it would make you sick.

fifish, now that I know how you run your men off by smoking the wrong end of a cig I can tell you how I got rid of mine.  This has nothing to do with cigs except that I was smoking one.  My friends were all on the dance floor when this guy sits down (hated when they thought they could just come and plonk themselves down).  We were doing the chit chat and went to cross my legs and let the most thunderous, ripping fart that drowned out the music.  All of a sudded he looked at me like I was a bear with two noses ( probably thinking that I was the bear that shat in the woods because we were perched on these really high bar stools and the smell wafted to his nose all the quicker) and litterally ran off.  Oh well, one needs a man with a strong stomach!  TOO MUCH BEER!!!!!!

I dedicate this story to Janzin.

OMG Pantufas, I was laughing so hard that I cried. From one gassy person to the next, I know those moments lol. Nope, this deserves a Fifish laugh. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I squeaked one out in front of my neighbor last night. He just looked at me funny and of course I act like nothing happen and didn't skip a beat in my story. I ate tons of broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus that it gave me a tummy ache. Good thing I live alone.

O2Bhealthy, you do look beautiful.  Hang in there, 2 left to go and you can put it behind you. I can't wait for you too as I feel for you too. But talking about having a bare butt story, I have one for you.

I was leaving work at night and I had this long flowing skirt on. I took off my panties because I wanted to be more comfortable, but I was going straight home and was going to be in my car so I didn't see any problems with that. I came to a intersection full of cars and all of the lights seem to be stuck on red forever. So I jumped out of my car and ran to push the walk button to change the signal light. Right as I pushed it, my lane turned green so I made a crazy dash back to my car. On the way, my foot hooked the curb and I went flying forward with my skirt went flying forward too. I laid there bare ass naked from the waist down with all the cars at the intersection honking at me. BEEP BEEP BEEP. That was really embarrassing, I was 18 at the time. I am pretty stupid at times and a cluts so I have quite a few  stories, lol. One of my friends calls me a female Chevy Chase.

I have my surgery on Monday at 11:30am and I pick up my sausage at 8:00pm. Will have a friend pick up the puppy. Funny how that worked but it is what it is. Good thing it is a minor surgery. I will have a friend stay with me just in case though.

Hope all you ladies are doing well, keep the stories coming.

    Hugs,
    Janet

    Ladies!!!

Farting, naked a@@es, running full tilt into glass doors?  No wonder Nads isn't posting although I think she has a few stories herself.  Hope you are okay and are staying out of the bee's nest.

malleme, so glad you are laughing.  Job done!

Murphy takes after his mother.  Took him to the vet today for his rabies shot and he was behaving nicely in his carrier when a man with a huge Dane and Lab came in on leashes from here to the moon.  They came huffing and snarffing all over me and I love dogs but Muphy has never seen one that size before.  He was hissing and clawing and thank goodness for the bars or two dogs would be missing some eyes.  Then the most horrible stink spread through the waiting room.  It seems Murph released his anal glands.  Gagging wretch of a smell and the dogs keep at it until I tell the owner that someone was going to get hurt.  Thankfully, Murph was called back (maybe the smell had something to do with it).  He was such a good boy after that and we cleaned him up.  Some people have walnuts for brains.

If he ever met the sausage, he would love her though.  He's used to small doggies like Mr. Haney.  They both rode with me in the back going all of the way to NY with no problem.  Oh well, it made for a different kind of day.

Everyone have a great Friday and weekend.

    Love and hugs to all,

    Nancy

Pantufas!!  I use to have a basset hound (named Flash) that use to release his anal glands on a regular basis!  I took him the the vet and he said it was a good thing because they can get "clogged" and then you have to have the vet release them so they don't get infected.  That is one of the worst, most foul smelling thing in the world.  Atta boy Murphy, you show em'.  "I may not LOOK like a big dog but I sure can SMELL like a big dog".

Nadine, candie, denise?  How are you guys doing?  Malle good to see you hear and laughing.  Michelle, much love sent your way.  How about mbscruggs and Jules?  Haven't heard from them in a while.  I hope all is well!

    Love to all,

flfish.  Oh, so that was why Murphy did it.  Lord, I don't know what I would do if he did that on a regular basis.  Guess I won't be getting any big dogs.

I remember Flash.  Was that Roscoe P. Coltrane's dog on the Dukes of Hazzard?  The boys used to love that show.

I second on our AWAL's.  Please let us know that you are okay.  We love and miss you.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Good TV recognition Nancy.  I did name my basset after the Dukes of Hazard dog.  My husband thought that was funny, so that became his name.  We had that stinky dog for 14 years, what a character!

Hi girls...Just want to drop in and say I am ok.  Just down but not depressed.  Just having a heck of a time with the thought of not having insurance.  Going to try and remember to call the Social Worker at my cancer center and see if she knows of ways to get some help with this.

Looks like I may be getting close to loosing most of my toe nails and the finger nails are close behind.  Hubby looked close at the hair growth last night and told me my colors are now one and brown...smart man didn't mention any grey hairs.  Loving the fact the hair is finally nice and soft.

Well been staying up say to late and I think a early nap sounds good.

    Hugs to everyone,

    Nadine

    Hey girls-

I seem to be doing better "staying in touch" on FB. Not that I don't HEART this thread. I so do! I just can't think of anything to write!  Damn, I don't have any fart stories! And, I have never been embarrassed once in my entire life!  TEE HEE- NOT!  And, I am still smoking. So what do you ladies want to hear from me and then I will spill the beans!

Until then, have a wonderful Friday...YAY! Still trying to get into the swing of coming into the office most days. I definitely like some days home, some days here.

BCBK/BCBF Ladies - Short post as SE's from 2nd chemo kicking my butt big time. Hanging in there and almost not smoking at all due to SE's. Stupid way to end up quitting though. Haven't been able to get back to work since then (8/12); barely even working from home.

Michelle - thanks for checking on me via my CaringBridge!

REKoz, of course we believe refined ladies don't fart!  Heh, Heh!  Glad you are enjoying work.  Nads, was getting worried.  That sucks about your insurance.  Do follow up with your social worker.  I think there are programs in place for temporary Medicaid for people with bc.  I understand but don't let the bastard get you down.

Hello DeniseM,  good to know you are okay too.  Sorry for being worry warts but we like to keep track of our buddies.  The se's did me in with chemo so I hope you aren't suffering too badly.  Don't hesitate to call your onc if you get worried.  That's what they're getting paid for.

Jules, nobleanna, mb, and all of you that we haven't heard from in a while, drop us a line if you can.  Powerful thoughts going out to all of you!

Hey to my fb buddies!  This is the first time I farmed and liked it.  Janet and Michelle are such good neighbors.  Wish it was real.  Hope to talk to you ladies later.

flfish, have a great weekend before going back to work.  Shop like a maniac.  It feels good.  Got to have clothes!

Great weekend to everyone else too.  Janet, remember your surgery is MONDAY!  Glad your friend is staying with you.  Give Taco and the sausage a kiss for me.

Had a great visit today from xpectmiracles.  She took some dead pics that she will post later.  We had a really fun time.  Of course next time I might let her do some talking.

Looks like rain.  Better check on the mogs.

    Love and hugs,

    Hi Rachelb!

First, I want to say welcome!  Second, please don't smoke while wearing the patches.  It's really dangerous for your heart.  If you want to smoke, then take the patches off.  Okay, so that said, when does your chemo start?  Don't worry about venting.  We are here to support you and try to help with everything you are going through.  As you will learn, there are some wonderful ladies here and you couldn't be in better company.  Some have quit and gone on and some have quit and stayed, as we have become friends.  Hope you will stay as long as you need us.  At the end of the month I will have been quit for three months.  Michelle and malleme  and mbscruggs have also quit.

If I have that wrong, or forgotten someone, chime in and correct me.  Just wanting to reassure you that you can quit.  It isn't easy, but it's possible.  Good luck to you!

Defenatley not smokin w/ patchs, though thank you for the warning!  This site seems great!  I hope to be smoke free for my heath, I just love them sooooo much lol.  I am not sure I will need chemo.  I had Dbl Mastectomy.  I haven't had BRCA test yet either.  Basically all I know is that I was stage 1 Invasive tub/lob and then they found Ductal Carcinoma InSitu after mastectomy.  All was my Right Breast but opted for double.  Lymphs were clean yay!  Will meet oncologist on Tuesday.  And I am sure I will get the lingo down soon too, and figure out how to get bio set up with Diagnosis.

Thank you so much again! Look forward to being part of this network!

    Hi Rachelb,

You might know you would join us right when xpectmiracles posted some "dead" pics. lol.  Janzin, who is the soul of this thread, started them.  They caught on because it's just our way of thumbing our noses at " Mr. Nasty."  After the pics I had to pick my nose to get the potato salad out of it.  It was great of xpectmiracles to post them so soon as she lives about an hour away and has a husband and three growing boys, plus a job to keep her busy.

Great news about your lymphs.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.  o2b healthy knocked down her 2nd round and is such a trooper.  She is an inspiration.  It is the weekend and a little slow but the other ladies will welcome you on board as soon as they are back on line.

Must go.  I still have a sore lung from surgery and can't sit for too long.  Will keep checking in so if you need me, just holler.

BAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...............BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...........BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......OMG Pantufas, when it come to dead pics, you are a true artist! I laughed so hard that I cried and almost peed my pants! I was on FB but I couldn't figure out your post about the sandwich sticking to you until I saw these dead pics. Was farming with Michelle and she told me you did some and I just lost it. Thanks, I really needed that. I want to add them to my collection on FB. Can you email me them?  I know when FIfish see's them she will do her famous Arnold laugh! You are so right about laughing when taking them, they are fun and will crack you up. Good way to put a smile on your face. I have some catching up to do. Hmmmmmmm.

FIfish, going to call you this week. Got some great ideas! Glad to see you are doing well.

Nadine, my heart is with you!!!!  We will get through this. I am going to pm you.

REKoz, I would love to hear one of your embarrassing moments. Wish I didn't have any fart stories lol.

Denise, glad to see you back! Sorry to hear about your chemo kicking your butt. How much longer do you have? And congrats on no smoking.

Welcome Rachel, you sure hopped on during one of our wacky weeks. You can see that we are a fun crazy bunch but don't get me wrong, we have our serious moments and our down days too. Important thing is that we will be here for your good or bad days and give you support with your quit smoking, NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES! I am doing Chantix right now and struggling. But I do keep trying!! Hang in there.

Ladies, have some exciting news. Just picked up another star for the Oct 17th event and they want to sell their own merchandise and give some of the profit to breastcancer.org. This warms my hear soooooo much. You all have been here for me and you all brought out a better person in me! My self image has improved a lot......well except for my boobs, lol, that will take some time. Doing this charity event makes me feel so good and my heart has been opening up to everyone. I am excited about the future of BCBK/F because I really think it's going to work. We will make a difference!!!!

MB, Nobleanna, Sue, Cleo, Candie, Malleme, Jules, Butterfly, drop in a line. It's the love in this group that is so healing!!!!

I seem to be chasing you tonight.  So happy you liked the dead pics.  It's hard keeping up with the genius that started them.  lol.  Snot rocket I reckon.  At least I didn't sneeze and suck it up my brain.  There would have been room.  lol.  If I don't get up with you, have a good night.  It seems I went to take a rest before and fell asleep!  Nitey nite to the rest of you ladies too.
