she said it looked like it was starting to reclose. I haven't had any drainage since laving the office. Being a nurse doesn't always work in my favor.

Good luck to Amy and Avia!

    Wow, lots of problems today.

Elsie, that sounds scary with the incision popping open

Amy, I am praying for everything to work out tomorrow.  Why do we worry about hurting the feelings of doctors that aren't doing us any favors?  You do what is best for you.

Together, I am in your pocket.  Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear of so many problems going on for some.  Roller coaster ride is right for sure.  Please take good care of yourselves and hang in there.

Congrats to the new exchangees (is that a word?).  Remember to go easy and pamper yourselves a little while you're healing.

I had an ultrasound to evaluate yet another lump.  Was following several with MRIs and ultrasounds, but they were removed during my revision.  Now....another lump to watch.  Ultrasound indicates scar tissue or reaction to the support mesh, at least nothing ominous.  However, something else to follow...ugh!

    Best wishes to all!!!

Cheryl...here we are on the same board, again. My exchange is Monday. I will also have one nipple removed as the pathology showed live cells in it after my surgery. I am getting so tired of this. I still have 6 weeks of radiation to go.

I will keep you and everyone having surgery and difficult times in my prayers

    Happy Friday!

    Good Morning!

Surgery went well I am anxious for my follow up, my husband commented on something the surgeon said after going in and looking at what my other ps did.    I am more sore this time  and my throat is pretty dry and scratchy I know it is from the tube but didn't have that the 2 surgeries prior. I did go to a different hospital last night it is funny how they did things differently.  I was switched out of my 700's for 600's my 2nd opinion ps who performed my surgery last night doesn't understand why my 1st PS put in such large implants with my skin being so thin.  Anywho Happy Weekend to you all = )

Myers - oh, I'm so glad it went well for you yesterday!  And that you're able to give us a report so soon!  I think I would have totally panicked to see what you saw the other day, and yet you reported so matter of factly and (seemingly) calmly.  Take care sweetie.

Amy, I'm glad to hear it went well for you. Can you feel any difference with the smaller implant yet? I'm getting a slightly smaller one on my right side on the 22nd and really hope it helps the discomfort and appearance of that breast. Rest up and heal now!

Sweetandspecial: I know you definitely could've handled what I saw I mean come on all of us here can pretty much handle anything, why? Because we have no choice = ) it is that simple.

Andrea: Oddly enough even though I am still swollen and I haven't seen the actual product yet (not until Tues.) I CAN feel a difference my right was protruding into my armpit with 700's and I do not feel that anymore = )  what size are you now and what are you going down to?

hello ladies! It went well yesterday, just a long day. Surgery at 115
right one time(they pushed me back the night before). Different anesth
guy than before, but he seemed ok. Came out of it easier I think than
before-- but I also have a scratchy throat after. I asked him about the
behind the ear nausea patch and he got me one right away. It probably
    helped.

I asked my ps before hand about evening them/lifting one
to match other side, how close theyd be together etc. He said he would
do the right, which is a little higher to match left. I had thought left
a bit too low, so I was surprised. I also have more fat on left side-
he said in a few months to do some lipo there. I was surprised to hear
that. He put in natrelle 410s, 420/375. Right side needs more as it was
emptier than left. He did cut the pec muscle again to get them in. The
incisions are underneath again, not on top like bmx.

    Have the
tube wrap on, go see him Tues for removal. Where they are under the wrap
looks low to me, but of course theyre squished down. He also did some
work on one part of my previous under boob scar that hadnt healed as
well as rest of them. The right hurts more than left, especially in that
area. But I actually feel pretty good. Took norco all night, Im
thinking to try and do Tylenol today and see how it goes. Save norco for
nite to help sleeping also. And no drains!

Thanks for everyone huge support, Ill keep you all posted.

Aviva, glad to hear everything went well. I'm having some lipo done on my right side on the 22nd. I'm nervous about it since I had radiation on that side, and hope I don't have any problems with infection or healing. Rest up and report back when you can.

Amy, I have a 350 Natrelle 20 round implant on my right side. I wasn't that big to begin with, and it looks too big and round, plus causes me discomfort. Part of it may be due to the rads, and hopefully a 325 implant will ease it up a bit. My other side is a 325, so they should match better. I know it doesn't sound like much, but with the lipo and smaller implant, my PS thinks I'll feel better and be happier.

Aviva was your anthologist Dr. Kim? Mine was I really liked him.  What time is your appt. on Tues? I have to call on Monday to make mine for Tues.  Is your "tube top" itchy? Mine sure is.  My former PS and Dr. Madry have 2 entirely different personalities Dr. Madry seemed calm, talking in laymen terms (which my husband liked) my former PS was go.. goo.. gooooooooo (hiper) 99% of the time and often scatter brained.  I am not sure why I waited so long for a 2nd opinion I had been thinking about switching since early Sept. during my fills. I'm sure we did cross paths I was at the hospital at 4:30 on being prepped at 4:45. I have been sleeping all day hbu

Hang in there Togetherness, I tried to do direct to implants way back when,  I had multiple infections and am on my THIRD set of implants.... had to be a Flat Sally for a while after incisions failed.   I know how discouraging and depressing it is.  :(

Dr Lee yes, I liked him alot. He was soft spoken and when I asked about the nausea patch, he didnt blink twice. I think were at 1130 Tuesday. So might see you there! Could go Mon but I can wait one more day to avoid driving to Elk Grove. Pain is ok today, but I am tired/out of it. When my chicken soup is finished in an hour Im going to take a nap... Once again back sleeping! But I was able to angle a few small degrees to the left, so Im encouraged

Omg hotpinkmess so you can relate  to what I am going through mentally, physically and emotionally.  Now when you had the third implants put in did you go the route of TE,  fills and then implants.  Do you have silicone or saline? There are other options out there other than implants but I would definitely need to gain weight to do them.  How long we're you flat Sally?  Sorry for all the questions!  I hope you are doing well.  This gives me hope for my new adventure.

Hey all.  Just stopping in to say a quick hello.  Sounds like some of you are doing better.  Togetherness, I am praying for you, and I hope you find some comfort.

I am doing a wee bit better.  Implants still very uncomfortable. All fat grafting disappeared.  But, today I got out and did some yard clean up, went to Costco, and then to lunch with DH.  Physically I am trying to make myself do like I use too even though I discomfort.  Either I have the diep, or I guess I will have to live with new normal. Not liking the new normal at all.  I dropped off my abdominal CAT scan to new plastic surgeon.  I am waiting to hear his opinion on my tummy vessels.

Just sitting here waiting for a call back from on call doctor for PS. I have hives and a raised red rash all over my chest and around my implants. The lateral sides of both breasts are red, warm to touch.

Elsie, I had a minor case of that, it was allergic reaction to the surgical tape. Hoping it's something simple and easy to treat. Plus, if that's it, find out the kind of tape and make sure you note it as an allergy for any future reference.

PS called back. Thinks the rash and hives may be a reaction to the antibiotic. I am now on around the clock Benadryl. I stopped the cephalexin. But because there is 2 areas of redness on the sides that are not raised, just solid red flat, he gave me a different antibiotic until I can be seen on Monday. I am sensitive to tape and they did not use tape. I had gauze held in place by ace bandage that came off last Sunday. Not sure what is going on but will hope for the best.

Elsie, there is something called Red Breast Syndrome, too. It's a temporary thing. I've read about it somewhere on here. You might try the Search feature and read about it just for more info.

So sorry you're going through this Elsiecow!  I'm allergic to adhesive tape, so I only tolerated the surgical tape they used on me for about 10 days and then it "fell" off. ;-)  Hoping the Benadryl works QUICKLY!

Elsie - hope the Benadryl and antibiotic switch does the trick for you.  If it IS an allergy to the cephalexin I can totally sympathize.  I became allergic to that over 10 years ago during a bout with pneumonia and ended up hives from head to toe before I realized what was causing the itching!

Andrea, everything looks good so far.  I am waiting for him to do a review of my abdominal CAT, but other than that, I am good to go.  I gained a few pounds which will make the surgery easier for him, and me.  I am getting excited and nervous about it.

Elsie, I hope the antibiotic switch and the Benadryl help you.  Nothing worse than being a itchy mess. Well, there are worse things, we all know that, but who the heck needs an itchy rash.
