Oh Lorraine, I'm so happy for you, that you got both foobs! And isn't it wonderful to be able to really breathe, without an iron bra in the way? Take it easy, rest, and have some chocolate to celebrate!

    Rockwell Girl,

First, I'm not a pervert either but I imagine you must have a nice ass to go with your beautiful breasts now!

So, I have a question, which I'm sure you've answered before.  If you had 550cc implants, what bra size are you now?  Also, did the lift/implant on your left breast hurt?  Was there a long recovery period and when could you be active again?

    Sandy and Deborah,

Thanks again for your input on my size of implant dilema!!!  It is so awesome to be able to go here for help! I went to my PS today for my last fill armed with all this information.  He was looking at my sheet and said, "We've never had anyone do research like this!"  I said, "My "boob blog" girls did it for me!!!"  I think I have decided to go ahead and get the high profile implants.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!  You made my decision so much easier!

Judy - Love your naming the girls.  Names....how about New and Improved?  Love the names for your old girls.

40something - glad to hear it was a breeze for you!  The implants are so much easier to live and sleep with compared to the TE's.

    take care ladies!

Lorraine:  What a relief - you are feeling good and you are home and you are on the computer!  Wow!  I'm impressed.

smmr:  We are all glad to help where we can here.  My PS was also very amazed at my compilation of data regarding implants.  In the face of having BC which places so many things out of our control, it is nice to have some part of this whole process which enables us to take some control.

Bukki and Cindy:  Praying for a great exchange procedure tomorrow for both of you.

I am so happy that you have great results!   Don't worry about font size, breast size is all that matters here!

    Kathie,

I'm glad going back to work was a positive for you.  I stayed home with my kids for years.  Now that I am back to work, the support I received from my co-workers has been priceless.  I know that I can have so much on my mind but once I am there, I am so busy that I can forget.

I have talked to some people at work today and have decided that if I am not up to returning to work on Monday, I won't.   I thought I would gradually get into things but I think I am going to be hit with a lot of stress as soon as I get back.  That I'm not up for.

    Lorraine it's big because that's great news : -)

    I'm so happy you got 2 boobs ; )

    Digger I wear a 34 D

with the lift / 2nd exchange surgery I was told again not to run for about 6 weeks

with the lift I was more sore than the exchange side.  The pain was mainly at the base and also I got these weird shooting pain in my nipple but glad to say that only happened for a couple of weeks.  I think it had something to do with my nerve endings growing back.  I was able to start walking once I felt up to it.  I think that was about a week after surgery.

    Sue/SMMR I think you'll be happy with the high profile implants  : - )

Laura I'm sure you'll have good results

My visit with the PS went well today

the nipple surgery she does is the one without a graft which is good because I heard you'd be sore and have to avoid sex for a while.  That would not be good he he ; )

I will give you all a heads up I can't be on the computer tomorrow.  My sister that got laid off in Jan is coming down to help me do a few thing which I am paying her so I better not be on the computer while I'm paying her.  We really need more hours in a day : - )

best of  luck to the gals still getting their exchange and the gals fluffing

Wow-I wish my backside looked like a 15 year olds!  Great story, Sandy.  : )

I got back from surgery at 6:30 PM tonight (arrived at 6:30 AM).  I have had some issues today with nausea and meds, other than that I'm doing GREAT  My new girls are all bound up, but from the tops I see some nice-looking cleavage and they are SOOOOOOO soft!  Oh my gosh, all of you waiting for your exchange, you will NOT believe the difference between the rock-hard expanders and these almost-real feeling foobs. And mine are all squished together with an ace bandage and still feel soft.  They remind me of how my breast felt just after nursing - still firmer than usual, but MUCH softer than a milk let-down. I'm glad I went with the silicones.  They are amazingly soft.  I think some of it has to do with waiting 3 months for the exchange - my muscle is not fighting.

My PS did say that he spent extra time getting my inframammary fold corrected on the right side and he said it "looks very nice."  He is great.  I'm happy already that I went with the high profiles because even with an ace bandage wrapped around me, I have projection!  Hooray.

Just have to get through all the fog of  anesthesia and then I'll feel much better.   I am taking Vicodin, but only at night to sleep; otherwise the pain isn't bad at all.

Hi Psalmist!  Great to hear that you are home and doing well.  You exchanged ladies give us Ladies in Waiting some hope for a day when we aren't living with our iron foobs!

Thinking of you today Laura and praying that your scans are clean.  It will seem like a long time until Monday to get your report.  Hang in there!  All just has to be clear!
