Bobbi: That is so wonderful that you got yourself a little baby girl puppy. You and your DH will be perfect parents, I can already tell. My little Angus is not a rescued dog, but we did look into a few Scottie rescue places before deciding on "buying" Angus. It was hard. There were many restrictions and constraints we decided to wait for Angus to be born. He was the biggest of the litter, and he was the one with the crooked tail. We loved him instantly.
I hope your discoloration is better,
60's, 70's, 80's
I was only 19 when I graduated college in the mid 70's. I remember the 80's and 90's vividly as well. These were my child-bearing years. Got my MA in the early 90's. Such great, pre-cancerous years.
Am I the only one who remembers Famolare shoes? I moved to the US in the late 70's and they were the rage! And they were so sturdy!

Okay--which shoes had the big ripple bottoms and we called them the give-the-ants-a-fifty-fifty-chance shoes? Were those the Famolares?
Wow, Brenda. Nineteen and a college grad? Were you a child protege or something? I graduated from beauty college then, tee- hee.

Whippetmom,
The larger one sits just a tad lower, and is wider than the left.
DH can't see it, but my daughter and I can. Not to mention the bra sales lady. I don't think it's any more firm than the other.
Do you think it just hasn't settled completely yet? I have an appointment with PS on Monday the 22nd, so I'll wait and see what she thinks. I'm scheduled for nips in April, but will wait if I need to.

Debinten: There is a certain style of tissue expander - the low height or short height style - which has the tendency to look wider than it is tall and to migrate towards the armpits. There is nothing wrong with this style of TE - it has some positive aspects for expansion - it just looks wonkier than other styles.
Nancy: Hmm, well, anything can happen with these implants. If you want to PM me and get my email address you could send me photos. Don't let your PS railroad you about this....you have every reason to want symmetry and this is one of the easier fixes - revision-wise. Often it is just tweaking with a smaller implant - or going with a larger implant on the other side. It is not uncommon with a BMX for one breast to have an implant with more volume than the other.

Thanks all for your very nice surgery wishes. I really can't believe my exchange will be on Friday. I keep on counting down the days with my fingers...
I was having a great day with my family, and had fun seeing the film Valentine's Day with my daughter. All of a sudden she got the stomach flu (and badly) along with a fever so it's mom duty for me. She's a real trooper and I'm hoping it's a 24 hour thing.
Sending you all healthy wishes,
Kristen

I found a great sleep bra. It has good side support and keeps my implants out of my armpits while sleeping. It's a Glamorize Complete Comfort front close leisure bra and only $20 on line. The band size runs a little on the small size. It is super comfortable. Sorry I don't know how to link the site below. You'll have to copy and paste to check it out.www.essentialapparel.com/index.cfm/a/catalog.prodshow/vid/32056/catid/35?CMP=AFC-Nextag0

Hi Deborah,
I have the following all from VS
With WIRES after PS said ok--several months after surgery:
Dream Angels--Push-Up (in Black)
Very Sexy Push-Up (in Black and White)
VS Cotton Push-Up (Red)
WIRELESS which I still wear and sometimes sleep in:
Dream Angels Push-Up Wireless (white, black, nude)
Body by VS Wireless (nude)
Depending on the bras I'm a D or DD.
I really want to get a Miraculous bra, but I look huge. It is the one that helps the most with the step-off, but I'm uncomfortable with looking like an F cup.
I hope this helps. Happy nips, Deborah!
Hugs--Karen

Wish everyone with procedures the week the best.
I too, am not very active on posting, but do appreciate everyone's openness and have found so much needed comfort. BIG THANKS!!!!! to everyone!
Thanks! Whippetmom for advice on implants, I have been looking up the options on line, however, still having issues on what the finished product(s) may look like.
Sometimes I wonder if the "oddities" about the TE's make you more comfortable with the final results of the implants. When I ask questions about size & shape, PS mainly says - we'll see, everyone is different. It's kinda like a waiting game mixed with a guessing game - Surprise! ??? I used to enjoy surprises - LOL!
Having another fill on Wednesday - will see what I look like and go from there. Also, suppose to discuss implants and expectations - not sure what to expect now.

Suzanne: Submit your request to Timtam so that you can get the entrance code to the pictures forum. There you can see all of us who have photos on that website - photos with TEs and after photos with implants. You are new to bc.org this month so you might need to wait until March to get on - it is a very protected forum for privacy purposes....but you can at least get in the waiting loop...
