Prayersanswered - so relieved to hear from you! Be especially gentle on yourself to heal and get your strength back before chemo starts. Rest ! (I know that's easier said than done w/little ones) And thank you for sharing that beautiful card!
Paula - 6:30 PST is good on Wednesday - that's 9:30 EST and a little easier than 10pm.
Traci - have you tried Wellness dog food? It's all organic & I know they have a lamb version. You generally find in pet stores (most grocery stores do not carry it except Whole Foods)
Ellie - I'll do it with you!
It was so warm today I put up my Christmas lights outside because it is supposed to be in the 30s next weekend!
Betty, Apple & all sisters- God bless.

thank you all ! i knew this is the place i would find comfort. you are truly a blessing. yes, that text on my sister's card is just wonderful; it brought tears to my eyes. I am happy it also resonated in you. I would like to bring a lot more here but it seems that I am now more in need. I am not used to ask for help for anything, it makes me feel bad. I wish I could be more brave and bring comfort to you out there instead of asking for your help.....i know, i am going crazy. God, please help me.

That's why we come here, you don't need to feel like there is any imbalance of giving or receiving, because honestly you give to us all when you come here. I mean that, I really do. When we share our feelings, our fears, and our successes as we get through to the other side, we help others. You help us to ground ourselves, to remember what is important, and keep us steady with God. I was very scared when I knew I had to go through chemo. My sister flat out told me I had to do it. No, it was not easy. But I made it through, and I am a lightweight. This journey brings us to places we never imagined ourselves to be. We will be with you every step of the way.
I am not sure if Psalm 23 is in our archives, but you are not on this journey alone. What is happening is all of your Angels and Spirit Guides are ramping up their support and circling around you. I know finances are tight, but now is the perfect time of year to purchase an Angel figurine to have by you, and there are some beautiful XMAS cards with Angels that you can put in a frame. I did that for my mother, and to this day, those 4 Angles are the most beautiful I have ever seen. Place your head in Mary's lap now, and let her console you.
Blessings.

Janet,
I appreciate the info...I am going to steer away from the lamb, as I think it has had a cumulative effect with her. I will check it out, I have done a lot of online searching, but there are so few products that are grain free. I was hesitant to try the chickpea with my kiddo, and that may have been the culprit. I think I bought us a heap of trouble, and wish I had better guidance when I was in the holistic dog food store, The owner did have 96% grain free canned food all along, but she gladly ordered the EVO as my Vet likes it a little bit better, and no egg in the EVO.
so you got your lights up today? that's great! It was so warm today, very pretty. I will get ready for the 30's, time to put the parka in the wash.

HI Glisteningpearl (Betty)
I am waving back to your "dot." Not sure if you intended to leave a message?

Glistening pearl --Welcome!
Prayers answered--you keep coming here sister, we are a very loving and supportive bunch. I know just how you feel--I think many of us are so giving and that is part of who we are, and it is hard to ask for help or to admit that we need it( I should just speak for myself), but we are all in this together as we fight this beast of a disease and count on God and our Blessed Mother to help us through. xo

Sisters,
Got all the petitions/prayers for Fatima/Lourdes sent to my sister....got the ones off the Catholic intention thread as well.
My sister, Liz, leaves tomorrow for her journey to Fatima, so I ask that you keep her in your prayers for a safe trip there and back. (She is pregnant also). I'm hoping she will be able to get some pictures for us, if so, I will make sure to get those posted (although I may need your help to do that, because I have no idea how!)
Hope you are all feeling blessed today!

Hanging in there...you know? Been a bit blue lately, can't quite pinpoint why....but, hoping it will pass quickly...
I have treatment #4 this Friday...only 2 more after that...I should be excited, right?
At any rate...had a great walk this morning...it's in the 70's today and will not be this warm again after today, so trying to enjoy it as much as I can...may even take the MG MIdget out for one last fun ride....
Said my rosary today and lifted you and yours up to our Blessed Mother that you may all be blessed...hope you are all feeling it...
peace and prayers,
Tori

Hi all,
Am up in the middle of the night - again! But, got a chance to read up on this thread, which is always so personally helpful to me.
Had a stressful day, so fell asleep early...and here I am at 3 AM still awake since 1:30! I went to have my first bilateral mammo (had the unilateral 6 mo ago). Had to have extra pics taken of my left breast (my healthy one, I thought) because the doc was unsure re a mass. YIKES! So, the tech mashed my left boob pretty hard with a special plate to see what it was. I was pretty anxious waiting for those results and saying prayers to keep me strong no matter what the outcome. Finally the doc came to see me...my heart sank! Never had a radiologist actually come out to see me before, it was always the tech. He shook my hand and said my right breast looked good (the BC one) and that after seeing several views of my left breast the "mass" was just very dense tissue and everything was okay. Phew!
Geez Louise. I shoulda gotten them both removed just to prevent this anxiety! I go to see my breast surgeon next week - she always makes me feel better (believe it or not). So, I'm glad to have my 6 month check up coming.
And, I started my day enrolling in a clinical trial for seeing how accupuncture helps with the joint pain and stiffness (arthritis) caused by Femara. That doc made me feel special - # 53 participant...he called me a pioneer and thanked me for enrolling in the trial. What a sweetie - I don't know if I'm going to get the "real" accupuncture or the "placebo" accupunction. but what the heck - worth the effort if it'll eventually help all of us.
But almost a total day filled with breast cancer stuff. A bit too much for me.
Hugs, all,
Pat

Pat,
That's so great that you are doing the study. I guess the placebo accupuncture is basically putting the needles in non accupuncture point places? Wishing you the best with the study (and the stress.)

Pat.... you sweet thing. Too much in a day of the cancer patient... past and present.
I am sorry it is piling on you now.... ((((((Pat)))))))

Pat - good news on your mammo!. It certainly puts us 'through the wringer' for the test & the results though doesn't it??!!!!
Tori - have you heard from your sister?
I'm planning to be back on tonight at 9:30pm for Thanksgiving prayers - but for those of you who can't make it, I just want to say to have a BLESSED THANKSGIVING!! I will be praying for everyone. Much love to all my dear sisters. I'm very thankful.
