I pray for the soul of Jennifer.... I pray her passing is easy... but that her soul is secured.

    Lord,

I thank you for the opportunity to pray with other amazing breast cancer survivors. I praise You for allowing us to live, yet another day here... and hopefully, we are doing Your will. In thanksgiving I am here tonight, with a few of my sisters in health, to praise all that you have done for me, and them.

    Amen.

Laura--------There's no way to comprehend why what is happening to Jennifer. Let her soul be secured as you say. Give strength to her family and friends, let the pain of her passing not hold it's grip on their beings, allow them to move forward.

Reminds me of a 4 y/o that I had as student, she knew she was dying. She said"She was having a hard time going b/c mommy and daddy were so sad". I asked her what she wanted, She said "Tell them it's okay". It was so profound from a 4 y/o.

It was an amazing process to be involved with Karen. You could see and hear so well that she knew. When I told her parents what she had said, it was as if a weight were lifted. They all held each other. Mom rocked her, She passed away within hours. Goodnight for now bless us all, bless Jennifer and bless Karen my 4y/o teacher from so long ago

Thank you Tink for the prayer tonight also.

I work Friday nights so often, I never get to this prayer time. I say the prayers you post about 11pm here... which is midnight for many of you.

    God Bless you !!!

Also, there is a group of ladies ( about 60 this year) that go to Vegas together. It is something a few of us put together 3 yrs ago..... and it is still going strong. It is a trip of celebrating life. Can I ask, that you all pray for our safe travel. We leave in three weeks... and we come from all over the USA and Canada. Thank you!

    Gods Love,

    Laura

I remember telling you about the Catholic thread and welcoming you... such a hard time in your life... husband so ill then.... It is amazing Tink!

Four years ago.... I did not even get online... nor thePC for that matter. I am....WAS not the type to chat online.. ever! LOL....

But when you have something SO HARD in common... with everyone being in the same age groups.... ( 40-65).... it just WORKS!

BCO is even making a Banner right now.... to send to me... to take to Vegas with us... I have not seen it yet.... but I got a PM from one of the Moderators saying it was in the works...:)........... She even said that they have been watching our group... over the years... and are just as blown away as we are by it.

    :)

People ask me... what makes this Vegas trip work out... with ALL THESE WOMEN...lol.............. I have said many things to answer................ but when I really think about it............ it has to be........ only one thing............................ BOOZE.  ROFLOL

Kidding.......... yes, we have cocktail at different events.... lol... but the cancer sisterhood thing is the bond...... for Life.

Thank you all for your prayers for Jennifer. I visited with her today.  Her arms are so thin, her fingers so frail, and her skull is so swollen.  I sat with her and prayed as I held her cold hand.  Her lips were so parched, and the color is slowly draining from them.  Her mother was visiting and said that Jennifer told her at 2 am this morning that there was a great light with lots of people asking her to come with them.

As I prayed for her, holding her hand, she opened her eyes and in a soft whisper she told me, "this sucks." I know what she meant as we all do, "Cancer sucks."

Please continue your powerful prayers, this is a family broken, all with different intentions for the 4 year old, and for the life insurance money in his name.  Please tell all your family and friends never to name a minor as a beneficiary.....name the person you want to take care of your children.....

Jesus, please hear my plead that this family heal, that they see the truth of Your ways and remain true in their hearts for the peaceful rest of Jennifer....that she may pass from this earth to Your heavenly kingdom knowing that Your will be done....that they may all stand before Solomon and be asked who's heart is listening, for the love of her son.  In Your great Name I pray for Your healing hand to touch Jennifer soul's, that she join You and all the people calling her into the light, without pain or hesitation.

    Hello everyone!

Prayers for Jennifer.  She's needed in Heaven .. I pray she lets go of whatever is holding her back so she can be at peace.  Prayers for her child and her family, that they have HIS best interest at heart.

All praise be yours, my Lord,

    for our Sister Physical Death

from whose embrace no mortal can escape.

Woe to those who die in mortal sin!

Happy are those she finds doing your most holy will!

The second death can do no harm to them.

    --St. Francis

Ellie - congratulations on being a grandma again!! What a gift!

Laura - good luck at Vegas!  And have fun for all of us!

Barb - homeschooling... my daughter was just talking about that last week for her two boys.  She's not happy with the public school and can't afford Catholic schools.  She doesn't feel confident enough to do it since she only has a GED.

We start teaching our 3rd grade CCD class this Sunday... pray for us! :-)

Our DSL modem got fried before Irene, so I've been out of pocket, plus I've been busy at work, so I haven't been able to log in, except today. :-)  We are still without DSL at home.  Skip and I are dealing with stress related illnesses too.  It's always something.

I pray for all those in treatment, those dealing with the after effects of treatment, saying good-bye to loved ones and for all of us to be at peace with God's will.

    Pax.
