Today I woke being anxious and upset again about my mom's stage iv bc dx.  Sometimes I literally wake up shaking.  I pray all the time but my faith is sooo shaken.  Please pray for me that I can accept God's will in this.  So very hard.  Blessings Mary

Hi Mary.  When I got diagnosed, I surprised myself with how much resolution I was able to find inside myself.  All I heard was cancer, I didn't know how bad, how much, where etc.  I thought my time was up, and in my brain I thought i had two weeks or so.......Deep within my soul I knew I was going to be ok either way no matter what, I knew no one has a guarantee on time, and all I could do was be grateful that I would have time to say goodbye.

When the doctor told me she thought I would be ok, I collapsed to the ground, so resigned I was that this was it.  Then I remembered that God's will be done....Find grace in your prayers today from all of us praying for you and your mom.

May we all be kept safe from harm this weekend. May those that seek to hurt others because of hatred be stopped. May they learn to follow the true tenets of their religion.

In remembrance of all those killed and injured during the 9/11 carnage, may they be blessed and God be at their side. May our prayers be lifted to heaven. Help us find the ability to forgive those that do such harm. God bless us all. Amen

Thank you SAS and everyone.  Jennifer is still with us.  She is talking less and opening her eyes less....she is in a beautiful hospice facility.  I am going to see her to pray with her tomorrow.  Jesus please hold her in Your arms and let her see the goodness that surrounds her, the beauty of Your eyes, and the music in Your voice as You call her home to You.  Whisper in her ear that she will be okay so she can leave the harshness of cancer here and only know healing in Your kingdom.  Forgive her her sins as cancer as taken her ability to pray, her ability to speak....let her suffering on earth be the last suffering she know, and envelope her with Your warmth as she tries to sleep forever in Your name.

As most of you know.. I work most Friday nights....

I prayed for Jennifer and Mary, for your mother and YOU!

I pray for everyone hurt so badly by the events brought on by 9-11. My heart and prayers go to them all.... and will for sometime. This is the year they will be opening the memorial to the public..... it is BEAUTIFUL and as I watched the three hour documentary... I cried with the show. This is rare for me to do. I think, if you can watch something so horrid.... so so many people murdered in a 48 hours period.... and NOT cry... there is something wrong with you. It TORE at my heart.

God bless all who were left behind due to the murders on 9-11.

    God Bless America!

I'm still have debilitating pain, I started a Novena to Our Lady to become a Knight at the Foot of the Cross, I figured I may as well put this pain to good use- here's an explanation and you can find out more at http://www.consecration.com/default.aspx?id=4

As MI members, KFCs consecrate themselves to Mary. As did Mary at the Cross of her Son, they also participate in "redemptive suffering" (also called sacrificial or reparational suffering). This means they offer some of their daily prayers and trials to Jesus and Mary, who apply these gifts where grace is needed most, such as to convert hearts and save souls, to make amends for the sins of others, and ultimately to bring about the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. KFCs especially offer up their difficulties for the success of the MI. They thus become a special core group or vanguard within the movement. Though often unable to actively evangelize because of infirmity, nonetheless KFCs generate untold graces as they link their sufferings with those of Christ. Through the intercession of Mary, they offer up all to the Father as a "sacrifice of praise."

Supernaturally, KFCs are perhaps the most important members of the MI - a spiritual powerhouse.

God bless you all.  Prayers today for my suffering cancer family.  God's love is always there... it's like He's on the other side of our shut door... sometimes we see some of His rays peaking through the cracks, so we know He's there, but we don't yet know how to open the door to let Him in.  Keep praying.  Keep reading Scripture.  He will show you.  Prayer and Scripture are like God slipping little pieces of paper under your door with instructions on breaking down the door.

God bless you Linda in your very inspiring ministry!

We are still having computer problems at home.  Yesterday, we got the modem (finally received from Verizon) working, but now our wireless isn't.  That storm must have fried everything.  Hopefully, I will be back on Friday to join you in prayer.

Becky and I taught our first CCD class together yesterday.  It was great!  Please pray for us that we will have the ability to hear the Holy Spirit when teaching them.

    Pax et bonum, sisters!

I'm glad you're better after your accident Estepp! My family was in a car accident  the Sunday before in our church parking lot. A 15 year old hit us going at least 30 mph and totaled my van. The good news is that we all seem to be all right too though we were all sore for a few days and my seatbelt hit right over my incision. Ouch! but it's doing better too.

My husband and I are on vacation this week on Hilton Head and enjoying the gorgeous weather and beautiful moonlit walks on the beach. God is good indeed, always!

Praying for all of my sisters here!

Estepp and Barb58, glad you are both Ok!!! That's good news in itself.  The positive over here is the Bastrop Texas fires are out....1400 homes destroyed but many lives spared with mandatory evacuations.  2 fires in San Antonio did minimal damage but a family did loose their home.

Jennifer is still with us.  I am meeting with her sister tomorrow to help her make the arrangements.  At only 20 she should be deciding which party to go to next....but she is holding together really well.  The family seems to be finding peace and that is a good thing too.

On the very positive, my daughter is rocking her junior year of college!

    Welcome everyone.

Laura and Barb------so happy you are okay. DS bought a new dogde charger and switched to his own insurance(last apron stirng LOL), but two days after taking possession of the car someone rearended him. That was aug. 2nd. He's fine too.
LMFSM----the joys of a new baby, every moment is a wonder

Theresa----hope all gets fixed soon, miss you here

Sagina so sad for althose people that lost there homes. We went through wild fires in 98. Forr years I was prepared with papers etc. now have gotten lax. This is going to sound corny, but we had time to prepare. I bought a bunch of laundry baskets. Filled them with treasures wrapped in clothing. Shirts, shorts, socks, underwear. Only so much could be put in each car. The baskets were stackable, and had handles that made them easy to carry. The clothing took the place of usuable paper if we had to evacuate. Tea cups in socks, plates in underwear etc. Pictures and albums in larger clothing. Our wild fires went on for weeks. My living room became the staging area b/c it really is only used at Christmas. I wrote a letter to the guy that was running the show. and said " you walk around your house , and look at treasures gathered in a lifetime and make a decision as to which must come and which must stay. That is a very heart rendering time".

Lets start a Novena for Jennifer. There is a meaning behind her lasting this long. God knows, we don't.  Michelle had us do a one day Novena a few months back. WE were to pray hourly for 9 hours.

Sagina if you can page back and bring it forward. I'll check the prayer thread and see if I transferred it there.-------let's hope.

Short notice everyone let's start tomorrow and if we can keep it up daily.

Going to check prayer archives---------Checked archives it wasn't there, But the next post is Paula's re: the archangels. This is appropriate for Jennifer. If someone wants to add another prayer ---okay----but remember we will succeed more in our prayer ,if we don't make it to lengthy. Start at 8 am EST. and keep it going as long as you can. It's the first post on the next page so if you print it off , it should come off in one or at least two pages. That will make it easy to carry around-------------LOVE an Namaste sheila
