I posted this from my phone, while on the road about four hours ago. Posted on her other thread:
Just off the phone w saint.
She is at this minute getting fluids at her local clinic.
Then on to Madison for rads 5. Tomorrow she has a blood transfusion for the day.
She is weak. She can certainly benefit from your prayers.
Her DH home safely from FL/funeral late last night.
Mo a huge help......0 -

Hi everybody
I just joined this forum because I believe I found you as a sign from heaven
A couple of days ago while praying and speaking with GOD (I do it all the time) I begged him to please let us have a cure, a vaccine or something to win the breast cancer battle. I prayed because I don't want no other woman in the whole wide world to have to go thru this journey I would like to know that my young daughter and all daughters, nieces and friends are going to be free of this monster. At that moment I thought... maybe a prayer group, small at the beginning but capable of growing, go global perhaps? I believe in the inmmese power of prayer and I think that if we all vehemently pray for a cure, one day, someday bc will be erradicated and next generation females will be free of this dreaded disease.
These are my thoughts and my desire to somehow help others

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears
Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us
And after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet virgin mary,
Pray for us oh holy mother of God, that we made be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Just off the phone with Saint. She had "lilt" in her voice.
The infusion of fluids & the transfusion have lifted her spiritis. Her college son is home for the weekend and I know that makes her happy -- to have everyone home together. She had the rads team give her something for the nausea that she was experiencing -- to she really sounded like herself, again.
Mo was cooking dinner. Her DH had given the dogs a bath and all was well in her world.
She admonished me to continue to take it slow & I promised that I am still doing "one" thing per day that requires any effort.
I haven't read her your posts for a while, but she says to say thanks for the continued support and prayers. The trip back & forth to the city is about all that gets accomplished in her day.
She is half-way thru the protocol!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
Thank you for the continued prayers on her behalf.

Thanks Angel and Apple! Since we didn't get a blizzard here on Long Island today, going to church tomorrow, and going to say an extra prayer or two to give me the strength to get through this, no matter what the results are. All of you are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Still in recovery mode. Slow getting around, can't drive, have both my children here "taking care of me." You know how that works. I probably do more for them, lol. But they're here if I need them.
Sts. Peregrine, Agatha, and Lucy, I pray for a miracle. Amen.

Nance! Let them take care of you. I know it is hard as a mom to let others do for us, but I am sure they are happy to help you. And you need to take it easy and gain your strength. Great to hear from you! xo

Good morning,
Received CT results on Friday. Rt. Axilla has 4x2 mass BUT everywhere is still clear AMEN! Never did I think I'd wish for bc but with this result I should now be able to get into the PARP trial. I meet w/UCLA on Wed. to sign consent. I am so ready to get on with this!! Hopefully by then end of the week I'll know. Thank you all for your continued prayers! I just keep thinking of my dream with the beautiful light and the Lords love.
Faith: I am praying your husband will have a successful and quick surgery.
Saint & Jen: I am also praying for your healing and comfort now.
Pastor John Hagee had a very insightful message on cancer citing Proverbs 3 /5 & 8: (His daughter had a rare bone cancer and recovered). It has been comforting.
5."Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding".
8."It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones."
St. Peregrine: Please continue the intecessory prayers for all suffering now with bc. Through Christ we pray Amen.
God Bless,
Jeannine

Jeannine.. you INSPIRE!
Ladies... today I feel blessed. I went to two doctors who are trying to DX my pain issue. My Vit D level is up and my Bone Density is GREAT!... They are finally narrowing it down. I did blood testing AGAIN to see if I have Lupus or Auto Immune Disease. They do not think I have either of these.
They tested my pressure points today... and ALL of them lit up and caused pain.
I feel like I might be getting closer to DX.
Like the Doctor said... if I can beat cancer... I can handle anything.
Love you!
Holy Father, I thank you so much for this day. You are giving me the hope I needed. I love you! Amen.

Jeanine....hoping that you get into PARP....if that is the best course for you to be on! Good to see you here! I had you on my mind and in my prayers this past Friday, Feast of St. Agatha....along with all my sisters on this Catholic thread!
Laura....not knowing what is causing pain....that is such a difficult place to be in! I am praying for your patience and faith to carry you through.....I wish it were easier for you!
God Bless Saint, Jen, Faith LMY, Nance, Tweety and our newest member! Welcome!
God Bless all of us!

Jeannine, best of luck getting into the PARP trial. Thank you for the comfort of the Proverbs...just the inspiration I needed to hear today...usually pretty upbeat but a bit overwhelmed lately. Husband had surgery Friday for stent placement in his leg to improve blood flow, but his surgeon ended up going in and just taking pictures. Since my DH also has an aortic aneurysm, his surgeon decided they should fix that and put stents in both femoral arteries all at one surgery...not sure when, but a riskier procedure. DH also tore the rotator cuff in his shoulder recently at work and needs that surgically repaired, which will keep him off work at least six weeks. Poor guy has had a rough time lately.
I'm SO done with these expanders and ready for exchange surgery, but it looks like that'll be postponed awhile longer...very uncomfortable, but I can deal with it. What's a couple more months at this point? Hopefully we'll be able to put these surgeries behind us soon and take a much needed vacation.:) Maui would be nice!
Sorry for my whining today, but feel the need for prayer support. Keeping the faith and continuing to pray to St. Peregrine for his intercession on behalf of all with BC. Praying for blessings of comfort, healing, and peace for you all.
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. -1 John 1:5
God bless.

I'm making a special addition to a new novena. My older sister who has been generous with time and money has had a recurrence of her sinus cancer. It's spreading, and there's not much that can be done that wouldn't dramatically effect her quality of life, so she's decided not to treat the cancer. It's starting to move over from the original side of her face to the opposite, and when the upper jaw is destroyed, her face will collapse on itself. She will then be on a semi-soft/liquid diet.
She's probably the strongest of faith in my family of seven siblings. Despite her own problems, she took care of our father in his final weeks so he wouldn't be in a nursing home. Her husband and son are watching out for her here on earth, but I want to make a request to our special saints, St. Perergine, St. Agatha, and St. Lucy to intercede for her with Our Heavenly Father. Please grant Barbara peace, comfort, and hopefully a miracle. Amen.

In the name of Jesus.

Good Morning Ladies-
Just about to head to Adoration and wanted to check in. I will mention all of your names today in Adoration (I am writing down prayer request now).
Janathan, I know what it feels like when everything just piles up, we feel icky with our treatment surgeries, etc, then our immediate family has a health crisis and it is enough to put us over the edge. I will say I have been through that this last year with me, my 9 year old who is a juvenile diabetic and my older son who is struggling with health issues (not life threatening) but it just overwelms. But....then the clouds clear and you can feel an easing in the tension and feel God's presence and we find Peace and comfort. I pray for this for you today!
I also pray for you Laura and an answer for your pain, mine is getting much better I believe due to all your prayers and support.
Nancy I pray for your continued healing and a very special novena to St. Peregrine today for your sister, and Apple's Brother.
Jeannine you are in my prayers to St. Agatha and Jude each day as is Saint, Cathy S. and all on this thread.
May God touch your lives in a special way today....God Bless.

Good morning,
Laura: So sorry to hear what's causing your pain. But you're right on, if you beat bc, you can accomplish anything. I'll be praying for you!
Angel: Thank you for thinking & praying for me. Tomorrow is my big day @ UCLA. She's an amazing Dr. that the Lord put in place for me (accidentally). My luck just has to change and is all in God's hands.
Jan: I can imagine how stressful it is for you with DH's surgeries and your expanders but HANG IN THERE! My folks have heart conditions so I understand. A good friend recently gave me Joyce Meyer's book "Never Give Up" very uplifting.
Nancy: I''m truly sorry to hear about your sister's recurrence. I can only imagine the heartbreak you're going through. You are strong and an inspiration to her. Keep praying and never lose the faith!
St. Pergrine, St. Jude, Please continue the intecessory prayers for all our loved ones and people suffering now. In Jesus' name Amen.
Prayers & Hugs,
Jeannine

Dear, dear sisters....it is difficult to read all your pain, but we all have such wonderful support and prayers for each other here on this thread. If I could share a bit of my family's story....we have a genetic defect for stomach and breast cancer. 8 of 11 siblings have it. 5 of my brothers and sisters have had their entire stomachs removed, and 5 of the sisters have had breast cancer and double mastectomies. We are all in various aspects of dealing with our life issues....but it is in faith that we survive!
When you have faith, you realize that our bodies are only as good as their ability to love and serve the Lord. We can use our suffering and losses as offerings. It is the health of our heart and soul that is the most important aspect of our life. And that is why the support and prayers we hold each other up with are truly effective! All our prayer is beneficial...all helps....but it may help in a "cosmic" or heavenly manner, not in the earthly way many in today's world wants!
How terrific will it be when we finally join our Lord and can see just how efficacious the prayers our sisters here on this thread actually were? What joy....you are all so special and I hold each of you and your intentions in my heart today. May you and your loved ones know that His Presence is constant, His Love all consuming, His compassion inexhaustible.
Much love and Prayers....
Angel

About an inch an hour....got into work OK....getting out may be another story! I think it is supposed to last all day and night! The schools announced they were closing yesterday before the snow even began, so not a lot of people at work today! I hope they all enjoy a sled ride or something fun!
It will all be brown snow in the city in 48 hours anyway!
God Bless!

Mark 5: 25-34 "and a certain women, which had an issue of blood twelve years and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole, and straightway the fountain of blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague, and Jesus immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned and said who touched my clothes, and his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee and sayest thou, who touched me? And He looked round about to see her that had done this thing but the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace and be whole of thy plague.
Ladies we can touch him today in the Eucharist, all we need is that kind of faith. God is the same God today.
I pray for Jeannine, Susan, Sandra, for Janet's biopsy on the 17th, and for our dear Saint, for Laurie that she finds what is the cause of her pain, and for Nancy and her continued recovery, also keeping her sister in prayer. I also Praise God for Michelle's improvement. I ask God to Bless each and everyone of His Children with His Peace and comfort those who anguish in fear. This is the day that the Lord has made that we might rejoice in it, Amen.
Angel, you are amazing, what an example of GOD'S MERCY that he has sustained all of you threw such illness and sadness. You are a true example of Faith and Trust. I have two daughters both have serious health issues, without my faith to sustain me I could not go another day, but in God I can do all things He is the God that strengthens me.

NJones, Angel,Jeannine,
I want you to know that your posts make all the difference. It reminds me to get my mind and sould back to faith and trust. Thank you for paving the way and leading us here.
Jeannine I have been repeating your quote to myself daily: "do not lean on your own understanding" this is just so spot on!
Thank you to all of you ladies and God Bless you and your families.

Yikes! So many states socked in with snow! Hope you get relief soon. So far we've lucked out here in the Seattle area...beautiful the past two days, but raining today.
Ladies, I couldn't agree with you more...faith is our strength that carries us through daily life. This is such a wonderful thread...so full of prayers for one another and support to help comfort us through our pain, fears, and healing. I know our good Lord is at our side helping carry our crosses...but Jesus had the biggest and most sacrificial cross to bear, and He did it for us! How lucky we are! I'm grateful God lights up our lives in so many ways, too...this thread being one of them. I listen to SPIRIT radio here in the great northwest, Laura, and it's so uplifting,. I hope you got a diagnosis for your pain and are able to get relief.
Angel, Nancy, and Apple, thank you for sharing. How unfortunate for your families...so heartbreaking to read and try to even comprehend. Thankfully your family faith is strong . You are true examples of strong women of faith! My prayers go out to your families. So many of us have serious life issues besides our own BC...at times seeming almost unbearable... but we have to trust in God and know He lightens the load.
Jeannine, you are in my thoughts today. I hope your big day at UCLA went well and that you get the real deal and not the placebo and that it works for you!
Thanks for your kind words and prayers Michelle. Glad to hear your pain is easing.
I pray to St. Peregrine and St. Agatha for their intercession on behalf of all cancer patients. You are all in my daily prayers.
Heavenly Father, thank you for your daily blessings, strength, and guidance. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
God bless, and may the peace of our Lord be with you all.
