I will visit this thread and read more tomorrow. I love you gals! But me last awake time needs to go to SAINT! Tear in my eyes....

I never did get to really know you SWEET SISTER in BC and in Faith. What little we did share was here on BCO only... and... it was a knowing we ALL HAVE here. When I saw you could not attend a graduation I believe of your child.. I was SICK... for you... but you stayed.. 'up"

I HATE HATE HATE that you are progressing.. I am so mad for you right now.... and I wish you lived around me... as I would truly be there at your home to help  in anyway you and your family needed.

I knew you were Catholic, but you never popped in here.. so I never brought it up on other threads... but I could SO SO SO see it in all your posts that I read.... The good, bad and tender.... Oh yeah.. your were Catholic...

A Song... Apple can correct me if I am wrong..

" And they'll know we are Christians by our love...."

I tell you... I can spot a Catholic from another state... lol.... I knew...

I LOVED how tender you were here... I LOVED how funny you have been... and I LOVED how tough and straight up you have been here on BCO...... LOVED IT! YOU inspire....

SO girl... if God lets this happen... you get your booty back here.... ok.

However this goes... however our Lord has this PERFECTLY mapped out for you... ( " I knew you before you were born..")... no one knows...... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Since we are SO very blessed with our Faith.. from 2010 years ago.... I will be praying for you... I will pray for Gods will to be done in HIS perfect way..... and praying the His perfect way..... is for you.... to stop progressing in this horrid disease... that you... maintain... and more meds come for you.... You BEAUTIFUL soul...

I know Saint.. you have some really great friends on here that MUST be hurting... I will pray for them and your family too...

PS.... I am not someone who.. " says they pray"... And the girls here... WILL PRAY too!

Saint... I do not know you... but I ( as a sister) Love you.

    It cannot cripple love

    It cannot shatter hope

    It cannot corrode Faith

    It cannot Destroy Peace

    It cannot kill friendship

    It cannot suppress memories

    It cannot silence courage

    IT CANNOT invade the soul

    IT CANNOT STEAL ETERNAL LIFE

    IT CANNOT CONQUER THE SPIRIT......

I have followed Saint's saga for a while. I will proudly add her to my novena list.

Sts. Peregrine and Agatha, I pray today that you intercede with Our Lord for Saint, Cathy S., Watson, Marie317, Jeannine, and Kalyla. I ask that their doctors find a treatment that greatly benefits them. I pray for relief of their worry and pain. I pray for a miracle. Amen.

    Dear Saint-

I have followed your posts for so long and I like Laura just knew you were Catholic and even more important than that, just a lovely, beautiful soul! I have learned of your family your friends, your life and it brings me peace to see how much Love you have had in your life.

I pray for you often but today I offer a special prayer to the Blessed Virgin, who brings me great comfort when I need comfort that only a Mother can bring.

O Most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendour of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immacualte Virgin, assist Saint in her necessity. O Star of the Sea, help Saint and show her herin your are her Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to help Saint in this necessity; there are none that can withstand your power.

O, show me herin you are my Mother O mary, conceived without sin, pray for Saint and her family who have recourse to thee.

Sweet Mother, I place this cause in your hands!

    Dearest Saint,

I wish for you the same comfort and love you have shown so many others on BCO!  So many people have been touched by you, and are praying for you. No prayer that asks for our God's will to be done goes unanswered...and we know our Father knows what is best for each of us.  He is merciful and tender, and He loves you dearly.  If you are in pain, confused or troubled, bring it to Him.  Offer to join your sufferings with the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let Him take your suffering as an offering to work miracles in your life, and in the lives of those He deems need them.

Our faith does allow us to use our suffering for the greater good...to bring souls to Him who loves us as no other.  Every part of your journey, the good and the difficult can be raised up in prayer to bring about His glory.

You have a Father, a blessed Mother, a loving Son....and a great Foster Dad in Joseph...and all your family here on BCO.  We wrap our arms around you in tender love, a family's love, and we will never let you walk alone.  One of us is always with you.

Blessings to you Saint...thanks for being such a woman of faith and courage and for helping so many others in their time of need.  May our prayers and friendship continue to help you....

    God Bless!

    Angel

I hadn't realized there were greetings for Saint on this thread.

I just came in to thank you for adding them to her threads.

She is at an appointment right now.

I will read these prayers when we talk later today.

I didn't mean to "out" her as being a Catholic, but I don't think that she will care. LOL

I think that by the time you had started this specific thread, her vitality was already on a downhill slide and that she just chose not to jump into any additional threads here.

Father Gary, their parish priest has been one of the strong-holds of her entire cancer journey. I think I am correct in saying that he has been in their parish since her initial diagnosis.

I know that last week when she was in an especially difficult place spiritually he made a 'house call' (she lives right across the street from the church) and that after they'd spent an hour together she felt 'right-as-rain' on all things spiritual.

I will read to her when she gets home.

    Faith typing, Saint speaking:

"Now that Faith 'outted' me, I get to embrace my Catholic sisters. Thank you for all of your prayers and support.

And Apple thank you for sharing your hysterical story.

Even a strong faith can falter. The trying times of late have really tested my faith. Answers continue to present themselves and the only explanation for that can be prayer. Keep me in your prayers, as I will you.

I have kept a candle burning in my church for everyone here for over five years.

I start tomo-therapy next week, they will be radiating the bone around my brain stem in an effort to restore my sight. We expect this to be a daily procedure for ten days.  This will take extra fortitude on my part as I am going to the University Hospital system -- which makes me feel like a small cog in a wheel. We already know seven different people, mostly church friends, who will provide the gift of driving me to my treatment.

Please keep me in your prayers.

Like a horse returning to it's burning barn, I would rather stay here in my small and familiar local setting, but they don't have the equipment for this procedure.

Be well, stay strong and God bless us all.

mmm5..I attended a rosary prayer service last night too on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  Last year I marched in DC....then 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with BC.

Sorry to say that even though my life has changed dramatically in this past year....some things are still horribly the same. Cry

This evening I am meeting up with a bunch of women I met on BCO in the city here.  Boat show and dinner.  I wish all of you were joining me...that would have been the best!!

Prayers for all my sisters here today.

    God Bless!

St Agatha and St Perregrine please intercede for all of us esp the ladies who are struggling and receiving difficult news.  Make us strong, heal us mentally physically, spiritually.  Fill us w/ your spirit!  Amen.

Hello my dear bc sisters and continued prayers for us all!

When I was at the retreat with Immaculee and Valentine (Rwandan visionary) she let us know that Our Lady wants us to also pray the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows.  I am just getting back in the habit of praying the rosary  Our Lady promises us that this will help us cope.  XO

Praying for strength and courage for you Saint, and mostly that the TomoTherapy restores your sight.  We would all love for you to be able to read these boards again.  Adding St. Lucy...and I will pray hard for you over the 10 days of your treatment.  Faith is the light that guides us through the darkness.

I pray to St. Peregrine for his intercession on behalf of all here.  God Bless.

i pray for miracles for all my sisters who need them and request that y'all say a little nonimportant prayer for my fam.  We are trying to buy this property.. a HUGE unfinished house (my husband is a carpenter/builder) on 2 acres for an unbelievably small amount of money.  It's not a done deal, we're waiting on paper work and praying that no one buys it out from under us for cash.  A trillion people have looked at it since we signed. shudder.  If we do get it I'll be working super hard till August and will visit the computer rarely.

i don't know that it's kosher to pray for nonpeople but I still am.
