Hello ladies,
Since we're on the good news trail, you will not believe this...but I may be clear!! Yes. I had a visit w/the surgeon to biopsy my 4.2 mass in the rt. axilla and he stated it is not a mass but seroma. (Fluid built up from dbl msx). Can you believe that? I have my CT in a few weeks but the seroma will show. This surgeon thinks I'm a complicated case and I must have given him a crazy look in disbelief but if this is true ,this is truly a miracle! W/my path report and last tumor Dr. said they usually see it sprout up in the chest area or neck. I was off chemo for almost 3 months. My dilema now is to not get kicked out of the PARP trial since I'm still at such high risk. I'm keeping this news silent until I have biopsy results. Incredible huh? He did say I must have a good immune system but I say it was J E S US!
Revolk: Welcome. So sorry you're hear but this is a fantastic forum. Remember our Lord will never forsake you. Stay strong in faith. We're here for you!
Apple: Amen to you and your brothers news. So happy you're clear. I continue to pray for him.
Val: Amen to your good friends news too!
Angel: Right on. Trusting in God and giving it all to him is the winning attitude. Continuing to sustain our faith no matter what is the key.
St. Peregrine: Please continue the intecessory prayers for Saint, Candy, Nancy's sister,Apple's bro and all our loved ones battling this journey now. Prayers for Michelle's DH to find the right job. In Jesus we pray. Amen.

Thank you all for all your prayers. I have DCIS <1cm stage 0 and grade 3. I was just given this report today. I am ER+ and meet with my surgeon on Monday with a good chance of surgery on Tues or Wed for a lumpectomy and wait for the results. This is all so new to me. My home has been filled with family and friends since they recieved the news. I am truly blessed. Finally my husband is able to sleep. That is why I am on so late. I am blessed to have the best cancer coaches a person could ask for. One thing I want to share is when my mother was 28 she lost her mother to breast cancer. In her dying months I was in her arms for hours and hours as a nearly new born baby. She passed when I was only 18 months old and I was next to her so my mother and father tell me. Tonight my mother came to see me with her mothers rosiery and prayed with me. I was so touched!!!! In my heart my grandma is watching over me the same way she did when she knew she knew she was dying. Well at least it gives me hope that she is my angel above. Now with all that said I prayed for each and every one of you while praying with my mother and grandmother as I am sure she was listening!!! Best wishes to all of you and your in my entire family's thoughts and prayers... By the way I did ask my grandma to keep me safe as I just found out I am going to be a grandma for the first time myself....

It is spiritual sustenance!

I will join you Nancy. I try to pray as I work (i lead a labor intensive life). I think I can do this.. particularly in light of my intense gratitude and all the good things that seem to be happening for us.
I am really busy this Spring and really don't have time for Mass. However, I can pop into church for the pre Mass Rosary and I have been doing that when i don't start working IMMEDIATELY.
I try to get a bit of the house work done before 8 so I can spend those 15 minutes in church.
I appreciate the prayers for my brother. I think he is going to be ok. They'll probably put him on a course of chemo to 'start' his life long treatment. All in all, he'll get his kids raised I imagine.
I have sister with a long history of alchoholism and eating disorders. She's been 'clean' for about 10 years now. She needs to have surgery to remove a tennis ball sized tumor from her liver as well as her gallbladder. I feel so bad for her. She's absolutely terrified. They think the tumor is benign most likely.. but gosh, that sounds like such a hard surgery. She'll spend 5 days in the hospital recovering and she may come spend a week in my home after that. My siblings are sure challenged these days.. As I mentioned before in another thread; 'We must have eaten too much lunchmeat in the chlordaned air we breathed".
prayers for all my breast cancer sisters and their intentions.
(Funny thing, we gather with the kids nightly to pray and we offer our intentions one by one. I usually say "prayers for all my breast cancer sisters and their intentions" after I pray for my particular people that I include. My kids have started saying the same thing.. i pray for my breast cancer sister...." it's so cute)
Diagnosis: 5/10/2008, IDC, 5cm, Stage IIIc, Grade 3, 4/9 nodes, ER+

And I add my prayers of thanksgiving for all my breast cancer sisters, so glad to hear the good news. Praise be Jesus and Mary! xo

You ladies are terrific! Thanks for sharing your faith, your trials and your prayers! You are each in mine daily!
Prayers for those who suffer from addiction, too. Alot of people in my family have struggled with this as well. I often pray to St. Anne and St. Bartholomew on their behalf. They are powerful intercessors for those who suffer from addictions. If you are in need or have family/friends in need....try them! They really want to help us!
God Bless!

Hi Ladies
Went to mass yesterday and the homily was soooooo good that I took notes!!
The main message was " Is our desire for wordly temptations stronger than our desire for God?" Worldy desires being very broad, and far reaching. I continue to pray for all of you, joining Nancy in Thanksgiving, I actually was at mass and could not think of one thing I needed to pray about for myself, abslolutely nothing (and My DH is still not working so that is saying a lot for me to have let go of that) I thank the Lord for the care he has continued to give those on this thread and continue my novena for Saint,Barbara, Candy, Jeannine, Cathy S. Natalia, and Appple's Brother. St. Peregrine, Agatha, and Jude please incerdede for them!!
God Bless all of you!
"Mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance" Jude 1:2

Hello dear sisters,
Thank you for the wonderful prayers and support. I'm still in awe. Tomorrow TX#3.
Michelle: I prayed hard for you and your DH too this Sunday. The Lord is working hard on finding that perfect position for him very soon!
Apple: That is so sweet of you! I remember my Grandma pinching me in church too if I didnt' pay attention. She was so devoted! I will also pray hard for your sister's upcoming surgery and brothers TX. (I'm happy to hear the news is positive).
Yes Angel, the Lord is amazing! My good friends read me that exact scripture for my annointing. I'm almost afraid to embrace the possiblity of dancing w/NED. It's what I've been praying for, for so long. Now the CT may show something and maybe my surgeon is wrong but I don't think so. I'm still waiting on the biopsy result.
Revolk: Your story was touching. The power of prayer is incredible and I'm here to give testimony! Yes you have a rough road ahead, but we're here for you and you are in early stage Amen. Congratulations on becoming a Grandmother!
St. Agatha, St. Peregrine and St. Jude: Please continue the intecessory prayers and requests for our beloved family, friends, and sisters battling this journey. In Jesus' we pray. Amen.

Hi everyone, I know that I haven't posted for a long time, but I've been trying to get some medical issue sorted out. Originally I was to have the magins cleaned up around the best area, then have radiation, now, they are sugestiing a masectomy and the doc told me to decide what I want to do. I;m so confused right now please pray for me to make the right decision,

i will pray Tarry, as I suggest that an aggressive attitude may serve you best.
My bro has found out fairly devastating news.. his cancer is in his blood, marrow, lymph nodes. I pray for him as he digests this news and plans his future. My sis faces MAJOR surgery to remove a huge tumor in her liver, her gall bladder and maybe other stuff. I pray she survives.. .. shudder. We are all sobered by this double whammy of news.
I offer thanks for my own NED, all the good news we've had lately..
prayers for all my sisters.
