I woke up this morning with a doozy of a headache and for the life of me I could not figure out why. Then I stopped by here again...

Relax ladies I hired these guys...

Wow! Everything is cleaned up so nicely. Now if Loral gets up off the lawn and the turtle finally staggers home, things will pretty much be back to normal. I'm glad a there were a few more who arrived fashionably late to partake in the par-tay. I'm doubly glad there were some late might five-star ribs delivered. Maybe I can pick on a few leftovers today.
We also made a good start toward our next 5,000 mark already.
Eph, I hope I can be a dancing queen in my elder years. I have a belief that if only we danced every single day, hip replacement would be a thing of the past.
Thanks, mar, for the approval rating. I have been good at getting people together my whole life, and I guess this is the cyber offshoot of that.
After being on here A LOT yesterday, I really need to give my eyes a rest today. I was starting to blur by the end, but some of that is the chemo drugs anyway. Think I will just take it easy and get ready for the big Bakery opening on Mon.

Minus Two, as long as you are "ish" in spirit, that is good enough for us

Hey, I'm a bit past the "ish" too but your only as young as you feel, right.
Great partay. I have had to put a 2nd pot of coffee on fur real.
OK who left their dog?

Loral, your last two posts were hysterical! The slurring one was confusing me at first, thinking you were really feeling it, until my addled brain realized that only a really sober person could pretend to be a really drunk person!!! (I on the other hand ... oh never mind ) And I've never seen anything like that middle age one ... I think I'll just keep doing this middle age thing and hope they raise overall life expectancy so I can always fit it!
Had to get early today after that late night party to go to 9-month old grandson's first swim lesson! Oh the things I do that I never thought I would! Yup...stayed home from the shore/campground to watch David have fun in the water We went back to their house after and had a very nice lunch, which lots of MomMom and David play time on their playroom floor. Love that little guy more than I really thought possible, and he's at an age where he knows me and willingly comes to me over other people. Can you see that beaming I'm doing from there? I'm guessing yes!!
A good day in Mary-land

Too true, Loral, too true!
Is he going to swim before walking, mar? Why not? I guess if they can crawl, they can do the crawl stroke, right?

marlegal - you are lighting up the boards! Beam away like any proud MomMom would.

Mar...that was not me slurrrrrrring my words.
Your grandson sounds adorable. I love babies, they are so cute. I never had any, so I'll never have any, but I still love babies. Congrats on having a wonderful day with the little guy.

Loral, so sorry, it was Valjean! I must have had one too many of those cutesie drinks!

The quote about the neighbor having to mow around literally had me laughing out loud. One time, many many many years ago, I woke up wrapped up in my neighbor's rose bush. I was torn to pieces!

I thought the lawn mower thing was hillarious, too.
Eli~....Sweetie....Don't I remember a milestone celebration where you took off your pink doggie costume for a short period of time????
0 -
OOO Meece, I think I remember that celebration.

If ever the pink costome somes off, just think of it as my version of streaking!

Oh come on Ei, for 25,000 posts???
BTW...still recruiting folks for the gathering in Vegas with other BCO Board posters late Sept. If you want more details, send me a PM. It's up to more than 40 going now. Should be a hoot!0 -
I wish I could have a REAL party like the one we had the other night!
Eph - that must have been some night! I don't have any fond memories of a yard or landscaping but that movie title, "Dude, Where's My Car?", rings a bell with me. Haha, boy we were bad!
I met a man about my age the other day in my MO's office. You know, you're both sitting there sick, dealing with a serious illness, and we started talking and then I said, "Oh, the 70's were good years!". And he brightened up and said, "The 80's too!" and then we both laughed and laughed.

Oh, Marlegal I sure wish I could go to Vegas, Sept is bad for me. Let me know if there would ever be another Vegas trip in the future.
