Been ok so far!  There is a little market I frequent near my house.  It's where I get my Diet Coke fix (Used to bleed Diet Pepsi, but chemo changed my taste buds.  Can't do Diet Pepsi now.)  The employees there are all in their 20s & they know me as a frequent flier!  I told the 2 that were working today it was my birthday & how old did they think I was? Well they diplomatically said 29 & 31 respectively.  I said "No, 60! Shocked" and to their credit, both their mouths dropped!  I was told I didn't look a day over 49-50!  Cute kids!!!! Happy

So sorry I haven't been able to keep up. I'm fine, family is fine, just don't seem to have that extra hour at night when I used to get on computer. You are all in my thoughts and prayers daily.  I do keep up with those on FB and check BCO for private messages.

Hope you are all able to enjoy the holiday weekend. To my Canadiansisters, happy belated Canada Day!

Thank you all for the birthday well wishes!  Had a great day - Weather was fabulous, spent lots of time outside digging in the dirt and planting, then my husband and son made dinner and chocolate cupcakes!

Happy Belated Birthday Monis! Glad your day was great.

Anyone up for a PP tomorrow? I am going for routine CT about 12:00 noon if ya'all want to jump in for some fun. Pretty sure everything is a-ok but doesn't hurt to have some help convincing stable boy that he has found a good home.

i am scared of having a colonoscopy. i have one scheduled on the 15th, and i am so scared they will poke a hole in me, cause they don't like me for asking too many questions. plus, if it made my Vag. tissues thinner, dint it allso make my colon tissue thinner too?Chemo, i mean..

HNS - what the heck is she riding? Oh - are the ears fake? 'Splains a lot if they are.

Barsco - In your pocket tomorrow. Even though these may be a little fallish stable boys should like apple treats, right?

Fooled me!! But if the ears are fake, then I am guessing the tail and booties are too!! Winking

You betcha Barbe. I think I see donkey ears under the long grey ones. A one piece wig of hair/ears? Wonder it didn't buck her off. Maybe it's drugged.

Kathe - I'm certain you doc has done lots of colonoscopies after chemo. I think colon puncture is very uncommon. This procedure is their bread and butter - they get lots of practice. The place DH and I went had rotating days for the docs, all filled from sun up till after lunch time. We'll be with you on the 14th and the 15th. I still recommend apple cider to cut the taste of the prep if allowed. It chugs nicely.  Winking

kathec…the worst part of a colonoscopy is the prep. Please don't worry about the procedure; if you are uncomfortable just tell the doctor. I have a colonoscopy done every 5 years due to my family history. Not my favorite activity but it must be done. Asking questions is a good thing so keep asking away. You will be fine.

thanks, cakes! and thanks, luvmygoats! i will try the applejuice. part of the thing is, i have to make it look very easy, because just now, my boyfriend told me that his doc asked him to have a colonoscopy TWO YEARS ago!!! because the doc felt polyps! And he just now told me!!! so i really need him to go have them looked at! should i purchase some depends, just in case?

Depends? Nope….you will be totally cleaned out if you follow the instructions for the cleanse. Your boyfriend most certainly should get in for a colonoscopy as well.

Kathe - I had a 45 minute ride to the center. No accidents. Now once I got there it was into the bathroom and I am not one for doing #2 on public toilets but you do what you gotta do. There was nothing afterwards. DH and I went to a couple quick shopping stops.

Yes, I had mine 2 months b4 DH since I had met deduc. and he had not. So you're right I had to model the "no big deal". Get BF moving on his soonest.
