We just got back from our second walk. He was begging and begging for attention. Told me he had to poop. Which I knew was a lie (he does this regularly, but, hey, it gets results). I told him we could go out and listen to the birds. He needs youtube birds all the time. He did poop a tiny bit. Then we came in and threw moosie around for a bit. 38 deg, Now he is whining at the parking lot. I removed his car button and changed it into kibbble.

Just back from my Sunday night yoga class, stretch and center, a great class.

We have had the warm and the wind and this week ahead some rain…that's March! The town is FULL of daffodils.

Have a great start to the week everyone, TT

Whad some snow last night (no daffodils here yet!), so I took a short, brisk dog walk & a longer walk around the track at my gym.

Daffodils here also. Plus maples and redbuds are just starting to open up. Spring is coming!

Walked this afternoon. Nice and cool.

Got back to the gym yesterday, I shouldn't be so proud about two days in a row, but the more ridiculous issue is I am SORE! …how pathetic and it shows that just being away for a week means a lot.

    Happy Tuesday, TT

When I take a week off, it takes me two weeks to get back to where I was before I left! The same evil genie is at work when it comes to weight. I can gain 5 pounds overnight, but to lose those 5 pounds takes week.

I will go on a walk & to Core this afternoon. Tonight I am going to participate in a Phone Call Town Hall with our U.S. Representative. I'm not thrilled that it's not in person, but she is better than our two Senators who won't speak to their constituents at all. (Since I haven't mentioned any political issues, I think it is okay that I shared this here.)

TT: I hear you about the soreness. This Sunday I was so sore but forced myself to walk. It helped some but still hurt. I had flashbacks of being on Taxol. I felt like I was 110 years old while on it. I'm better today. Next time I need to remember to take Advil.

    Ruth: Good for you!!!

Yesterday we had rain so I didn't walk but today I did. It was a bit windy.

Missing Karen so much and hope all is well with her and her family.

I walked & went to HIT this morning. I'm going to a birthday party for an 100 year old friend this afternoon & to a talk about women homesteaders this evening.

On Tuesday I went to a funeral. Then walked back to church, no ride. Plus walked Tippy several times. logged 7,297 steps. Too much!! (Had a knee replacement two years ago). That night I had trouble sleeping with pain. Wednesday 4,221 steps. My goal is to keep my step average at 4,500, minimizing over and under. Took a long walk with Tippy this morning but wasn't wearing my watch.

A friend is weeding the community garden, and invited me to participate. Good upper body workout, on the mild side, which is what I need. I have some bands I can use from past PT encounters.

Ruth - you have a fascinating day and evening planned.

TT - Glad you were able to go to your Tai Chi class yesterday.

McBaker - Hope your knee is feeling better. How nice that you have access to a community garden.

Walked yesterday and almost 2 hours of yard work today. Lots of pruning and thinning out.

I did have a fun Thursday. One interesting thing about women who filed claims and homesteaded on their own is that the average age they married was 27 (as opposed to other women at the time whose average age at marriage was 22). They waited until they had 'proved up' the claim to marry, so that land would be theirs in their own name!

Friday I went to pilates/stretch class and on a dog walk. Today I went to lunch with friends & to dinner at DS's house, with no exercise in between.

Saturday was Yoga. I am walking around the track at my fitness center right now.

Ruth: The women were looking out for themselves!

Worked in the yard for 2 hours then went to a BINGO game. Didn't win anything but had fun.

Trm, I see Karen in CO regularly on Facebook. All is well. Sorry I didn't notice that post.

It has been rainy during the days with a bit of snow during the nights lately, so I haven't gotten much walking in. Still waiting for permission to get some chest exercises. I also have been recovering from too much walking, by walking downtown to do errands. Walking to church isn't too much, though. In both cases taking a cab home. The sun is shining today.

I went to Zumba this morning & will go back to Core tonight. We are still in a Winter Storm Watch for Tuesday, so I went & got groceries. Right now am quickly putting together a meal for our sick friend, so I can get it over there still today.

Ruth: Love this picture of you and Bruno!

Unlike Ruth and McBaker, my weather today was a high of 68 degrees. Dh and I walked and then dd called and asked if we can walk together. It felt great.

We're still in the winter storm warning. Our fitness center opened 2 hours late & only 6 of the Wednesday Walking Women made it over. You can see the snowflakes in the picture!

I went to HIT & Dance2fit today. The sun was out, so the snow has melted off the streets……we might get some more tomorrow, so it's not really spring here yet.

Hope everyone is okay! I went to Pilates/Stretch today & took a dog walk. I am going to report on the rest of my weekend (in case nobody else comes on…I feel silly making multiple posts to myself!) I will go to Yoga tomorrow & on a protest march (something I've never done before in my life. Sunday, it will be more walking.

Love your snow picture! It was 86 degrees yesterday and today. Finally turned on the AC a little while ago. Going to be hot again tomorrow and then cool down. I'm not ready to start acclimating to the heat just yet.

Walked yesterday in the heat. Ugh. April 5 is a weird day for me so I decided to lay low. I mopped the kitchen floor (before turning on the AC) and now I'm sweating. Need to vacuum but will wait until the house cools down.

Take care of YOU Wonderland…we all have weird days and need to be peaceful with that.

Only got to the gym twice this week, ugh, and with the pollen bloom exercising out of doors is not possible for me. Simply walking outside the little bit from parking lots to my office or grocery store leaves me with a sore throat… hoping for the rain they say we will have tomorrow and Monday to clean some of it away.

Can't believe the early April SNOW pictures…but then again, it snowed in late May the year I was graduating from college up north which is why I decided to go to graduate school in Virginia.

Went to a funeral today for a lovely woman who died "suddenly" 78, a former school librarian, she was actually the caretaker of her husband, but got sick on vacation and died in hospital of kidney failure…so sad to lose someone who was so vibrant just 3 weeks ago.

To Linda and to using every day! TT

Thanks TT. ❤️ Sorry about your friend. Yes, very sad.

The pollen has been horrible so I've only walked 2 days this week. On Wednesday I woke up with puffy weeping eyes. Finally got them under control. We have had rain which definitely helped. Also have kept the windows shut to keep the pollen out but now it's hot so opened them yesterday. Another reason to turn on the AC.

My Fitbit is telling me that I need to take it easy. I have been doing too much lately. Will be back soon.
