I am so sorry about your friend, TT. 78 doesn't seem that old anymore. My best friend's brother just died at 70. He hadn't been in good health, but it was still a shock. 💓

Wonderland, my sister turned on her AC too. She couldn't stand it!

We just got back from a nice dog walk.

Just back from my Sunday evening Stretch and Core class…my "peak" class of the week.

Getting ready for the week ahead and looking forward to the rain that starts tonight and will extend to Tuesday. Hopefully it will clean off the pollen that is everywhere and also shake some more out of the trees!

Today was the 104th b'day of one of the other residents of my mother's assisted living apartment building. Grace was a Marine in WWII (yes, that isn't a typo world war 2), a college administration at Kansas St…she still walks to the dining room, remembers everyone's name (including me) and is always so interested in what is going on at school…and as long as the K-St women were in the B-ball tournament, she was all over it, go Grace!

Happy start to the week ahead and McBaker - take the time you need! My fitbit only tells me to do more, I need to upgrade 😀 TT

Got to the gym at lunchtime and then went to the dentist for my 6 month cleaning/check up…all good there, yeah!

We are having a lot of rain which is good…clearing the air, might actually get to go on a walk tomorrow!

My readiness score is back up to 46, so I have gotten 4,500 steps. Withdrawing from Trazodone, so I need more exercise, I think.

My fitbit said my readiness was 'high'; so Zumba this morning, a little dog walk this afternoon, and HIT tonight.

You all must have better fitbits than me (flex 2) I don't have a readiness score…today I am walking all over campus as the rain has made it possible to be outside again. TT

I had a hair appointment this morning & a meeting tonight. I will sneak in a dog walk & CORE, which is at 4:30.

I'm going to a Girl Scout Camporee this weekend where I'm in charge of the Nature Hike for small group of Kindergarteners and Ist graders. So looking forward to a fun weekend. There will be girls ages 5 through 14. Right now there are almost 90 girls and adults going.

I walked this afternoon. The weather has cooled down and it was fabulous. The pollen is still hanging around and my nose started running near the end of my walk. I forgot to bring a tissue and that was a big mistake!

Camping in April, what fun! We are expecting rain all day Friday into Saturday noontime…hopefully it passes through NC before then.

Off to Tai Chi at lunchtime. TT

Sounds like a fabulous weekend, Wonderland!

The Wednesday Walking Women split up for our walk today (2 different groups walked outside near their homes, and 2 different groups of indoor walkers too). We all met up for breakfast at McDonalds. I'm going to a weight lifting class tonight.

Already at 2,000 steps. I have a long straight walk that I can use to slowly and in a controlled manner increase daily step count. Irregularity in this neighborhood due to highway and four schools.

Got to the gym at lunchtime…yeah, 4 times this week…next week I'll be lucky if I get there 2x. 4-5 times is so much better for my mood, health, everything. Happy weekend, TT

A good mat pilates class plus stretching, a dog walk & since it's so nice out I am going to squeak in another walk before dinner.

Had a blast at the camporee this weekend! The theme was Girl Scout Traditions and we did many of them (flag ceremony, made sit upons, made swaps, camp activities, campfire, and of course s'mores). There were 88 girls, leaders, mothers, a couple of dads, and even 2 babies there. It rained Friday before I left and luckily it didn't rain while we were at camp but it was cold at night. My friend planned the entire weekend. So that meant I was her assistant which meant we had to set everything up, break everything down, sweep and mop the huge dining hall, etc. My dd, and 2 of her friends who were Girl Scouts together helped. They had so much fun reliving their camp days.

I walked thousands and thousands of steps this weekend.

Here is a picture of me leading the nature hike for kindergartens, 1st graders, and their parents. We made Nature Crowns as part of the hike. 😊

How fun! It makes me want to go back to camp!

I had a quiet day with no exercise at all. It was rainy & even the dog didn't want to go out.

My BP was high yesterday, I didn't do much but was processing some personal issues. Fitbit is telling me to take it easy today. Will go for groceries later this morning, then ride my electric tryke downtown and do some errands, then go to church. Not exactly taking it easy, but will see what fitbit tells me tomorrow morning.

    That's a great caption Ruth! a real LOL…

Great picture wonderland…like Ruth, I too want to go to camp! I was a camp counselor in college…well the summers in college and loved it.

Got to the gym Sunday night and then my Monday night class was cancelled, ugh.

No gym today, but just had lunch with my mother…TT

I was a camp counselor when I was in college too. Those were my most fun summers ever!

We have lots of classes cancelled this week here too, TT. Everyone is either getting ready to host Easter, or go away for Easter, or at the circus (which is here tonight). We had to be on the road at 6:30 this morning to bring Bruno to the specialist for his bad leg. Along with the muscle strain we've been working on for 2 months, he also has a tear in the ligament on that knee, so they are trying another treatment as well. He is becoming a money pit; but what do you do? I will go for a walk & to my CORE class tonight.

Some of the Wednesday Walking Women (including me) walked outside & the others inside. Here we are at breakfast (the cook in the middle is a former student). I'm going to weight lifting tonight & I'm trying to clean the house in-between.

Cute bunny ears and butterfly ears. Ruth.

I've rested from the camporee (all of us were exhausted!) just in time to start getting my house ready for a family Easter Lunch/Meet the New Baby Party for my side of the family. My granddaughter is almost 6 months and will be meeting her extended family for the first time. 18 people are coming so I've been planning and cleaning. Everyone is bringing something for the meal and my dh will be grilling hamburgers, hotdogs, and chicken. My nephew has a 3 year old and a 1 year old and I bought plastic eggs to have an Easter Egg Hunt.

I met a friend today for a short walk.

Oh wonderland, have fun with that wonderful Easter celebration.

    Great Easter Party Ruth!

Just walking for me. Went to church for Maudy Thursday services today, then Good Friday tomorrow, both nights at 7pm, so walk to church and back and then a light meal afterwards.

Looking forward to Easter lunchtime dinner with my mother and sister, TT

Our Lunch/Party was a success! Everyone had a good time, the food was delicious, the egg hunt a hit, and now my granddaughter is officially a member of my side of the family. She's a really good, happy baby.

I walked this afternoon. Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

    What a fun celebration, Wonderland.

We had a fun Easter too, I had four days of just about continual eating. Yikes! I'm back to 'normal' today. Zumba & HIT.

Finally got to the gym today for the first time since last Sunday! (a week ago Sunday, not yesterday ;-)

Between cancelled classes, Easter and who knows what, a full week with no gym is not good for me.

We also had a nice Easter, with church and lunch with my mother and sister, then a low key dinner with DH, but I did cook a small boneless lamb roast.

This weekend was perfect temps and a break in the pollen, so nice to be outside. Unfortunately for me, we are now at what would be my "perfect" high temperature range…but summer in Virginia is still coming.

    Happy week ahead, TT
