Like Sherry, we had not had rain since Sept 2010. What does an umbrella look like? I'll have to look around and see if I can find one. Will be there no matter what - maybe someone has a big enough umbrella they wouldn't mind sharing?

OK I supply the umbrellas. It's only 10 minutes walk.
Michelle your pictures LOL LOL

Sheila it rained last night and was still raining this morning. So I found my unbrella (LOL), was covered with dust but I'm here. And I am so thankful for the rain we got here in South Texas. It was very much needed. Hope it rains all day.

Good Morning.
It's not raining here yet. But definitely it is an umbrella day.

See you all later.

Hi Ladies, I haven't kept up with all you sisters- and too many pages to read - but I wanted to say hi.. We finally got Summer here in Oregon - we skipped spring - its going to be 96 today and I'm 15/28 in my radiation treatment...Down to a lose tank top and blouse when I'm out... I started feeling the bad skin burn yesterday... I think the next 2.5 weeks is not going to be very fun for me... BUT God is holding my hand walking next to me and blowing on my radburn.... I guess all of us have to remember One step and One day at a time....
Sheila: I hear you have great news?? Haven't caught up yet but congratulations! I get so behind on these boards-- sorry about that!!!

I'm back from Mammogram and I was talking to all of you who were kind enough to jump in my pocket. You had extra room because they gave me a big woman robe to wear the other ones were dirty.
Birad 2. More happy news will follow later.
Thank you All.♥

OK Jo more happy dance......
I did something very good to myself today.
You all know I was feeling so depressed the last few weeks. I didn't even want to go to Hawaii but I'm improving and I promised myself that if I got good test results from Oncologist and today's Mammogram...I was gonna rush home get on the computer and book my Hawaii vacation.
AND I DID
All good things are happening this week.
Leaving August 11 for 3 weeks and i better stay healthy.....
I'm going to Hawaii.
Next Friday DD is coming home for 2 weeks she misses NY.

OH one more thing...i was telling the friendly Technician about my plans. When she finished she said wait for me here. About 20 minutes later she comes back with the DR. My heart dropped all the time the technician used to give me the results.
DR comes in and she is telling me guess what you are going to Hawaii.
Isn't that nice of her? I hugged her and got little mushy and I was thinking of you in my pocket I gave her a longest hug twice.
Thank You for all your support Sisters♥

I'm getting a little concerned as my time for AIs gets closer --- Has ANYONE had an ok time with the stuff... or are the SEs inclusive for everyone.... I don't know if I could give up my life for 5 years just for the chance that the cancer might not come back... I'm scared...

Hi Everyone. I am so glad I have you group of ladies to get things off my chest. Seems like there has been plenty of good news. CONGRATS. I have to play catch up on all the postings. Wish I could go to Hawaii (LOL).
Anyway, I saw the Oncologist and she was quite thorough in explaining my options.
I have to decide whether to go with mild chemo- regimen - that is CMF or cytoxan, mexate and Fluorouracil, aka Adrucil) or Moderate (TC or Taxol and Cytoxan).
I did not know the decision would be up to me. The SEs for the moderate are brutal but I know each woman responds differently. My tumor falls in the moderately agressive category and with an Oncotype of 26 I am really torn as to whether to do moderate and then switch to mild or vice versa.
Anyone with similar treatment regimen. Would love to hear your personal experience with these drugs. Frankly I do not mind losing all my hair but the risk of infection with the moderate regimen has to be considered. I have fairly young children and know they come home with stuff all the time. Sounds like I will need to live in a bubble. HELP!!!!

Gma, check out the Femara thread. I've been on Femara for 2 mos. and have had awful side effects. Waiting to hear from the onc. and hoping he takes me off it and puts me on something else.
